The world enters the age of myth

Chapter 114 Remarks on the launch

After two months of new releases, it’s finally time for this book to hit the shelves.

The new author asks for recommendation votes, favorites and most importantly...subscription!

If you really have no money, you can also get Qidian coins by signing in and watching ads. Now Qidian has no more coins. Authors can also make profits by subscribing with the coins obtained by signing in.

Well, the author is actually not a newbie. He started writing in September 2017, so it has been three years now. Time flies so fast. When I first started writing my first book, I was still full of confidence. I thought I would become a great person if I had a good idea, but it turned out that was not the case...

(Quietly asking: Is there anyone who has been chasing a book for 3 years? You won’t pay me a dime for a book that you have read for so long?)

I am very aware of my shortcomings. For example, my ability to write about daily life is a bit weak, the character settings are relatively flat, and the character interactions are not vivid enough, etc.

These shortcomings need to be improved gradually by reading more books and practicing more writing. They cannot be improved in a short time.

Looking back on the writing process over the past few years, I think I have gained more or less...

The first book, "Under Deep Space," had an initial order of just over 100, which is really a tragic number. Looking back at the first book, there are quite a few flaws and the writing is rough. Many things were taken for granted and I wrote whatever I thought. You will know it when you go back and look through it. You will see that it is a new writer, but the gap is quite big.

However, the science fiction idea of the first book was good, and a few big guys kept recommending me to read the book list (book lists were very useful at that time). After writing about it, I started low and went high, and it happened to be a high-quality product before it was finished. I got it. Excellent medal.

This result is already very good for a newcomer!

The second book, "High Dimensional Traveler", had a more tragic fate. Before it was released... it was actually harmonized!

I originally wanted to write a supernatural research institute similar to this book, but before it was put on the shelves, it was severely affected by the dimension reduction of the Harmony Beast, and the research institute actually closed down!

They’re all closed, so I’ll still write something!

In the end, the first order was 1,300, and after more than 600,000 words, I reluctantly reached the end of the order of 2,700. I really couldn’t write anymore, so I could only end it in a scribble...

In fact, this result is not bad, after all, the collapse is severe.

The third book "Deep Space Wandering Fleet" is a science fiction of the interstellar civilization type. Due to the support of many old readers, the first order is almost 1,300.

I spent a lot of energy on this book. It is also an interstellar science fiction. From the structure to the writing style, it should be much better than the first book Under Deep Space. For some of the chapters, such as Sakura World, I think there is nothing wrong with simplifying them and focusing on entities (narcissism).

But guess what, at the end of writing this book, how did it compare to the first book?

The two Silver Alliances, with a total of 15 alliance leaders, look quite impressive. (If you haven’t seen it, you must check it out!)

But the final average order was only 15% higher than the first book.

Are you surprised? Compared with the progress of the wandering fleet in deep space, it is still relatively obvious, and the core of the story should be okay. But the performance only increased by 15%, which is not satisfactory. I think it is not proportional to the effort spent.

After much deliberation, there are two reasons for this. The first is that my writing is not good and readers don’t buy it.

If the book is not good, no one will read it. This is normal.

But I think that in the short term, it will be difficult for me to write a better interstellar civilization science fiction than Wandering Fleet, and I don’t have any better ideas. It’s impossible for my writing skills to improve significantly in the short term. That’s all my talent is.

So this cannot be changed.

The second possibility is that the market is limited, and the ceiling for online articles on this subject is almost the same. No matter how good the writing is, it is just like this. Not everyone likes to watch different cosmic civilizations, and not everyone likes to watch social science themes. Nowadays, lighthearted and funny themes are the most popular and easiest to get results.

Many people don't want to read a book after seeing a title. This situation is very common.

Some idle readers in the book review section asked me why I stopped writing interstellar science fiction, and then "wished" that my book would be scrapped, and that I would write in despair about the genre they liked.

I can only laugh "haha" in my heart. With such a huge starting point, why is there no such interstellar science fiction genre? Don't you have any ideas in your mind?

If there was a sci-fi book about interstellar civilization that had tens of thousands of orders and was on the best-seller list every day, a large number of people would follow it every minute. Believe it or not?

But now, the ceiling has been reached in a blink of an eye. There are dozens of first-time subscriptions for books that are less popular, and there are only so many people in the circle. They are also divided into hard science fiction and soft science fiction. Most of them are just prostitutes. Who will write them? What about this kind?

Why should a person who has nothing to lose ask the author to write something? I really don’t have any money, so I can at least sign in and use the additional coins to subscribe to a few tickets. Isn’t that too much?

Therefore, there is a fourth book, which is this one, "The World Enters the Age of Mythology". On the one hand, it retains some content of social development, and on the other hand, it seeks breakthroughs from the subject matter level.

My idea is to integrate a scientific core into a subject matter that is more acceptable to readers, rather than being limited to the previous form.

Of course, while seeking breakthroughs, I will also retain some content familiar to old readers, such as the story framework of wandering in a small society, how a small society of hundreds of thousands of people operates, how to move from chaos to order, how to develop, etc. wait……

(Some people say that my last book plagiarized the "socialized upbringing" of Ma Qianqiang. I beg you to study Marx's theory. Marx had already proposed this concept in the 19th century. He believed that the family, as a type of private property, is ultimately It will be eliminated. Don’t always plagiarize and plagiarize. If you are uneducated, don’t talk nonsense.)

I am already very familiar with the story framework of this wandering development. I should be able to say that I am familiar with the road and there will not be any big problems.

But there are also some new challenges. This time, some supernatural powers are added, something that serious science fiction does not have.

Compared with the past, the new book focuses more on adventure and superpowers. The protagonist will be more prominent and not just a civilized observer like before.

There will be some social descriptions, but there won’t be too many unacceptable concepts (such as the public welfare in the previous book), and it will basically remain modern.

Since the writing content is relatively simple, the update speed should be faster (as much as possible).

The doomsday part of this book originally had a small climax, but now a lot of content has been skipped. The reason is very simple. In order to avoid the harmonious beast, dimensionality reduction strikes.

If you write too bad about people in despair, or if you write too bad about the government, abandoning the people, etc., it will definitely suffer from harmony. Harmony before it is released is basically equal to coolness.

Therefore, we must avoid this risk and can only find a way to pass it off.

Okay, I’ve talked a lot of nonsense, so I won’t say more. Finally, I want to ask for a subscription!

If you like this book, I hope you can subscribe to it. After all, subscription is the only criterion that determines the quality of your grades, and also determines whether there will be recommendations in the future.

It will be on the shelves at about 12 o'clock tomorrow noon. Since my past results are not very good, the maximum first order is only 1,300, so I will set the small target at 1,500 for the time being. If I make a little progress, there should be no problem.

The current collection is 35,800, and it is still being recommended. At 12 noon tomorrow, it may be around 38,000. This requirement is very simple, right?

Over 1500, for each additional 100, one update will be added!

If the first subscription is 3,000, 15 chapters will be added. If the first subscription is 4,000, 25 chapters will be added... Well, the archives are actually not that many...

(PS: The editor said that my follow-up reading data is only 1,000, so the first subscription is almost 1,000??! I will never accept the fact that I knocked down my grandma’s house. I hope those who like this book can subscribe as much as possible.)
