The world's number one pianist

Chapter 26 University Teacher

Chopin's prelude?

He Shen was stunned for a moment, looking at the master level written in front, and the one that consumes two master level works and changes to another master level work to become a master level, his eyes are inevitably a little complicated. Reading

First of all, this upgrade is definitely not upgradeable, because Chopin's prelude is different from other preludes. Chopin's prelude is not the kind of stand-alone one, but only exists as an introduction.

This set of Chopin's preludes is written completely according to the fifth cycle method in the musical scale, starting from the beginning of C major, and going to the relative tonality A minor.

Then from A minor, continue to go up, come to the fifth tone of C major, G major, and after G major is its relative tonality E minor.

This cycle repeats all the way to the last D minor, from the sharp series to the flat series, go through all 24 tonality, and the whole song ends, a total of 24 pieces.

These 24 works are extremely closely related, and many of them have only more than 20 bars, so you can even regard them all as one work.

These 24 preludes are constructed and developed around an extremely subtle musical idea, but these musical ideas are not purely repeated or developed in a technical way.

They just rely on Chopin's emotions and feelings to make extremely complex and amazing changes and developments.

Therefore, it is absolutely impossible to separate any of them and replace other works to become master-level.

Then what about the remaining three works that exist separately?

He Shen looked at the three works that were placed at the edge and separated separately.

Prelude in C sharp minor, Opus No. 45, 25, is in C sharp minor, 2/2 time, with a continuous theme (Sostenuto), composed in 1841 and dedicated to Princess Czernicheff. Compared with most of his preludes, this piece is longer. In addition, this piece is based on the unchanged theme and is transposed semitones to include nearly all 12 tones.

Prelude in A flat major, Op. 45, 26, is in A flat major, 2/4 time. It was originally titled Presto con leggierezza, written in 1834, presented to Pierre Wolff, and published as a prelude in Geneva in 1918. The music is short and bright.

Prelude in E flat major, Op. 45, 27) is in E flat major. A professor of music history at a university next door thinks it is similar to Giuseppe Tartini's Devil's Trill Sonata, so he also calls it "Devil's Trill". According to the information I learned before, Chopin did not complete this piece at the time, but abandoned it, but the professor reproduced the part written by Chopin and made subsequent modifications.

Of these three works, you can choose to abandon two and replace them with a master of one piece.

The first reaction in He Shen's brain was to choose the prelude of E flat major and reproduce this work, but soon, he threw this idea away.

Obviously, even if he gave himself the memory of Chopin, he would not be able to perfect this work, because it was originally an incomplete work.

And at that time, if his performance did not match the modern recognized version, would the group of people who studied music history listen to him or those big guys?

If you want to make your voice powerful, you must rely on strength and status. You have strength, but status...

He Shen shook his head and directly abandoned this option, looking at the first work, the C sharp minor prelude.

This is a very long prelude, and it keeps changing the key, with nearly 12 tones. If you consider it from the perspective of cost-effectiveness, this is the best choice.

And the other A flat major is too short, and it feels like you can't learn much, so He Shen rejected it.

The key to learning Chopin by yourself is to understand Chopin, and then derive his feelings from Chopin's other works, rather than focusing on one work.

For example, after playing these four Chopin ballads, I have a new understanding of Chopin's etudes, barcarolles, sonatas, polonaises and other works.

He Shen did not hesitate and quickly merged the three works in his mind into one work.

[Ding, work selection completed, work merging in progress, work merging successful]

[Congratulations on obtaining the work: Chopin Prelude Op45, No25, do you want to activate it now? ]

"Don't activate."

He Shen shook his head. Now is not the time to activate it. I will activate it after I get home. I can start practicing on my piano right after the activation is completed.

He Shen raised his eyes and looked at Zhou San who was negotiating with Wang Pei. Just as he was about to walk over, Zhou San shook hands with Wang Pei, and both of them smiled with satisfaction.

Wang Pei saw He Shen coming over and immediately waved to him.

"He Shen, I just talked to Principal Zhou. Because it's a university, their music school doesn't have enough funds, so they can only pay you 30,000 yuan. Do you think this is okay?"

"Yes."

He Shen nodded. After all, they were just buying the original recording. If they didn't sell it, they could also listen to it online and use their headphones or speakers with different sound quality to listen to the compressed audio.

Although the feeling may not be as good as the original, it can definitely feel something.

Now they bought the original audio from me, and they can give me 30,000 yuan, especially for universities in the state, which is already very good.

At least there is no "I, a student, give it away for free!".

Wang Pei saw that He Shen was satisfied, and a smile immediately appeared on his face, and he said immediately.

"I'm glad you are satisfied. Principal Zhou just said that he has something to say to you. So, you two can talk first."

After that, Wang Pei gave He Shen a hint with his eyes, and then took Zhao Zitong, who was still in a daze, away and quickly left the recording studio.

After Zhou San and the two of them left, he cleared his throat and asked He Shen.

"I just heard from Teacher Wang Pei that you seem to have something to ask me? Is it about university?"

"Well, I want to be a teacher in university."

He Shen didn't beat around the bush and said directly to Zhou San, and Zhou San seemed to be used to He Shen's straightforwardness, and also knew what He Shen wanted to say from Wang Pei, so he touched his chin involuntarily, tilted his head and looked at the ceiling, with a difficult expression on his face.

"This is a bit difficult to handle."

"Teacher Wang just said that you and he both graduated from Wuzhou Conservatory of Music with bachelor's degrees, which is a bit low. Even if we relax the requirements, you still need a master's degree."

"If you want to enter our school as an exception, you must show relatively good results. At the very least, you must be a national champion."

"Can you... show it?"

Zhou San looked into He Shen's eyes, waiting for his answer.
