"The sect master must be on her way to my abode by now." The elder sighed bitterly; he understood the master's behavior perfectly well, for he had been under her command for over a hundred years.

It would be a miracle if the sect master allowed such a relationship in the sect, but Elder Wu was not going to despair yet, he had a backup plan and with the sect master's understanding the chance of success was quite high.
