Chapter 67 Seven Levels

Shortly after Filch was lured away.

From the ceiling of the corridor on the right, Hermione's slight voice of surprise came, "Quirinus Quirrell——"

"I've long thought there was something wrong with him." This time it was George's turn to say proudly.

"No wonder we often pretend to be sick and leave early without getting angry. It turns out he is the one who pretends the best." Fred followed closely.

"Shh-he's coming."

After Vincent's voice, the entire corridor returned to calm.

Cloaked, Quirrell stepped around the corner, his eyes always staring ahead.

Not to mention him, even Filch didn't know there were four figures on the ceiling.

"Knock, knock—" The hard alder wand underneath gently tapped each wall.

Quirrell's eyes were always fixed on the end of the corridor.

That locked door was the goal of his trip.

The alder wand tapped the doorknob.

"Click——"

Quirrell walked in.

Vincent, suspended under the ceiling, tapped his feet with a wand made of the same material.

With the faint moonlight, I could barely see clearly a wooden ladder that supported the weight of four people and crossed both sides of the corridor.

"We have to hurry up." Vincent, who was firmly on the floor, stretched out his hands from his cloak.

George took a deep breath and jumped towards him.

After catching the twins one by one, Vincent caught the rope thrown from above.

Fred bent down, "It should take him a long time to find something."

Hermione, lying on the ladder, tied the dye to the other end of the rope.

"If I were Professor Dumbledore, I would definitely lay some very difficult traps."

George shuddered, "There shouldn't be any magical creatures guarding the door..."

"Gatekeeper?" Vincent frowned after hearing this.

He vaguely remembered in the movie:

The first level is Hagrid’s cute little Luwei.

The second level is Sprout's Devil's Net.

The third level is Flitwick riding a broom to catch the key.

The fourth level is Mag’s real-life wizard chess.

The fifth level is Snape’s potion question.

The sixth and final level is the Mirror of Erised arranged by Dumbledore.

There are key administrators and four deans, and even the principal has set up pass levels.

Then does Quirrell who walked in also...

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" George, who had already thinned the rope, tapped him on the shoulder.

"Nothing." Vincent stood up, came to the bottom of the ladder and stretched out his hands.

Hermione squeezed her eyes shut.

As soon as Vincent caught her, a pair of small hands hugged his neck hard.

"It's safe."

Her long eyelashes moved slightly, and she turned her head away as if she didn't dare to look at her.

Vincent led them to the door at the end.

"Have you ever considered another possibility?

Everything we do now is actually in vain.

Hermione's eyes became a little complicated.

Since Dumbledore would set traps, Quirrell is likely to be involved.

"His name is missing."

George spread out the Marauder's Map and said, "The inside should have been temporarily opened."

"How long do we have to wait?"

The three people who covered the upper half of their faces all focused on Vincent.

Even though Quirrell's move of sending Filch away was suspicious, adjusting the arrangement was a good excuse.

Either take off the cloak or let it go.

He reached out and touched the multifunctional belt created by the transformation technique.

In addition to smoke grenades and bat-shaped darts, there is also a Browning with a silencer attached to it and a phantom spell on it hanging on the right side.

Can the number of people and equipment make up for the mana gap?

"The Alajo Cave opens—"

Vincent took out his wand and gently opened a small gap.

"Huba—Huba—" The heavy and low breathing of the beast reached the ears of the four people.

George raised his hand and slapped himself, "I regret it, really."

Even though it was pitch dark and nothing could be seen, the sound made it clear that it was not some cute magical creature.

Hermione lit her wand and carefully inserted her little head into it.

"It's a three-three-headed dog."

Fred took a step back, "Why don't we go back?"

Vincent shook his head and opened the door, "I have a trump card."

"Gu Liu——" X3

The three people outside the door saw him squatting in front of a big head, and their little hearts were beating violently unconsciously.

"It fell asleep."

Vincent opened his mouth and reached out to wipe the residue from his sharp teeth.

"This should be a very advanced potion..."

Opening the other two big mouths, he recalled thoughtfully his first Potions lesson.

Narcissus root powder and mugwort combined together make a very powerful sleeping pill.

"It's the Living Hell Decoction, also called the Water of Life and Death!"

Hermione plucked up the courage to walk in, raising her wand high.

"Quirrell should have gone down." Vincent stood up and walked towards the trap door next to the big paw.

The twins entered and closed the door.

"We can make the rope longer." Fred lifted up his yellow cloak.

The rope rolled up and tied around his waist was military money sent from Vincent's family.

"It's too slow."

Vincent half-crouched in front of the trap door and took out a Batarang from his utility belt.

About three seconds after letting go, there was a sound of a sharp object hitting something.

"There's something down there, and it's not too high."

He naturally lit the wand and said, "I'll go down first to explore the path."

"Hey, wait a minute -"

As soon as Hermione finished speaking, the figure beside the trap door had already jumped down.

She trotted over worriedly.

The moment Vincent underneath came into contact with the devil's net, the light from the wand dispersed them.

He landed firmly on the ground and extinguished the white light of the wand.

"It's a devil's net. You wait for my signal before coming down."

The three people above secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

"May Merlin bless us—"

The twins held their wands very religiously.

When the devil's net extended again, Vincent's voice came from underneath.

"Extinguish the wand first, then jump down one by one——"

"Okay!" Hermione shouted towards the trap door.

"Who goes first?"

"Let's go first."

She watched the twins go down one after another, and took a step forward without hesitation.

When she felt the restraints of the devil's net, a bright light prompted her to slightly open her closed eyes.

Vincent, holding his wand high, pointed to a closed door in front of him when all three of them landed safely.

"Would you like to set up some extra traps?"

Fred pulled out the rope from his waist, raised it with a smirk and shook it.

"Quirrell is not an idiot." Hermione's big brown eyes rolled up under the black eyepatch.

"Are we ambushing him?" Vincent took out all the small darts in his belt.

George, who was wearing a bat eye patch, grinned widely, "Oh, this is not what a superhero should do~"

Could Quirrell, who was able to invade Snape's office and obtain the ingredients for the Living Hell Potion, really fall into such a low-level trap?

Hermione, who was still rolling her eyes, couldn't imagine this scene at all.
