Chapter 760: Potter's Hut

The outcome of the trial is just a new beginning, and the excited people in the magic world will not be satisfied with a mere death penalty.

This is exactly in line with the original intention of the Ministry of Magic to gather people's hearts.

If it were to be executed in court, there would only be an emptiness like being lifted high and then dropped again.

But the delay didn't mean Peter Pettigrew could enjoy the rest of his days.

On the afternoon of the end of the trial, he was escorted to the Potter Monument in the central square of Godric's Hollow.

With the presence of confining magic, he will kneel in front of the monument until the day of execution.

People who want to vent their emotions can come, as long as it does not cause any harm to their lives.

After leaving the court, Peter Pettigrew was only on minimal life support from the Ministry of Magic.

Mrs. Peter was forbidden to come near, and all she could do was to persuade the wizards who were throwing things wildly.

But there were too many of them, and the escort team sent by the Ministry of Magic quickly took her away.

Sirius and Harry declined everything offered by the wizards around them.

The two of them had already found comfort in their hearts and no need for additional venting.

"Let's go there and have a look, Harry."

Lupine had been waiting outside Potter's hut for a long time.

This cozy cabin was destroyed by Voldemort 12 years ago. Although it was rebuilt and repaired, Harry could still hear the screams of his parents, as if he had returned to that night that was scarier than a nightmare.

Sirius and Lupine carefully looked at all the furnishings in the room and told Harry their origins and some interesting anecdotes.

The round wooden dining table was originally made by James and them. In order to keep the four corners of the table at the same height, they didn't know how many pieces of wood were replaced.

"Six or seven?"

"Seven." Lu Ping gave a positive answer.

Sirius walked over to the simple wardrobe.

There was nothing in it, but he remembered one full-moon night when everyone was gathering around the dinner table, except Lupine, wrapped in a blanket and hiding inside.

"Remus, do you remember that day?"

Of course Lupine remembered.

It was at that meeting that they decided to hide the hut using the Loyalty Charm.

After the Potters were killed, he couldn't believe the reality and was autistic for a while. He returned to the cabin more than once and tried to hide in the closet to wake up from the nightmare.

Sirius led Harry to a spiral staircase connected to the upper floor. "Your father made this for you. He said that when you grow older, you can slide up here from the second floor."

Harry's nose was sore and tears fell uncontrollably.

Lupine glared at Sirius, "Let's go to the kitchen and have a look."

The living room of the cabin is connected to the kitchen and is very spacious.

Lily's cooking skills are particularly good, countless times better than those witches who can only tinker with potions.

With red eyes, Harry opened a large locker.

Even though it was empty, he knew it should have been filled with various condiments.

Sirius and Lupine were rummaging around for something.

"Sure enough, it's gone."

"After all, so many years have passed."

Harry curiously asked the two of them, and it turned out that they were looking for the pocket money that James had secretly hidden in the kitchen.

All married men understand this.

As for why James would hide his pocket money in such a dangerous place, the two had completely different opinions.

Sirius thought the more dangerous the safer.

Lupine thought James did it on purpose, it was a little fun between them as a couple.

As they talked, both of them became excited.

Harry couldn't get a word in, but he felt that his father had done it on purpose.

Lupine suddenly teased Sirius, "Isn't it because you are afraid of this that you have never dared to find a girlfriend?"

"Am I afraid?" Sirius raised his eyebrows, "My old woman can't take care of me, so what other woman dares to take care of me."

"So, why are you still unwilling to go home and have a look?"

"That's not my home." Sirius seemed to want to say something else.

Lupine did not continue and led Harry towards the second floor.

"Professor, my godfather..."

"You'll find out later, Harry."

The two walked into a bedroom and stopped in front of a crude crib.

"We were all hunted by Death Eaters." Lupine picked up the wooden broomstick placed next to the bed.

"We and your parents have tried every means to make this place more comfortable and welcoming."

He looked at Harry and gestured with the famous size with his hand, "When you were only this big, you could just lie flat on this bed."

"Not so young, right?" Sirius leaned against the door frame of the room,

"Remus, Harry was very heavy when he was a child. Don't you remember that we even guessed what he would look like in the future?"

Lupine smiled and nodded, "Remember, it seems we all guessed wrong."

Harry is now over 1.6 meters tall. He doesn't look strong or even a little thin, but his long-term fighting training has made his muscles particularly strong, which is not visible from the outside.

He raised his right hand and bent it slightly, and the biceps of his upper arm immediately made the sleeves bulge.

Sirius and Lupine stared blankly at the muscles that were about to burst their sleeves.

"Remus, you don't know about this?"

"I've forgotten what the Court of Owls Club is about."

A harmless-looking boy appeared in their minds.

This guy is a real school bully who doesn't show off his talents. Draco, a little brat, can't compare to him at all.

Sirius and Lupin told Harry so many stories about their parents, and Harry also shared interesting things about school with them.

The Headless Horseman, the Forbidden Forest Mist, and the Batman are all first-year students.

Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets, the Millennium Basilisk Jormand, and the Great Liar Professor are all second-year students.

When talking about Lockhart, Sirius and Lupin's eyes were obviously full of worry.

Dumbledore had already told them about Horcruxes.

12 years ago, Voldemort killed the Potters in this cabin and split his soul. The fragment accidentally entered Harry's body through the scar on his forehead.

Even though Dumbledore repeatedly emphasized that there was a way to solve it, not everyone can survive the near-death experience.

Lupin winked at Sirius, and the two of them changed the subject tacitly.

"Harry, tell us about your current home."

The Dursleys have a lot to say.

Although Harry had a miserable childhood, fortunately with the help of the Wayne family, his aunt's knot was resolved through a child abuse complaint, and the family began to accept Harry sincerely.

Sirius was very angry at first, but after listening to the whole thing, he seemed a little regretful.

Originally, he thought that if the Dursleys dared to treat Harry badly, Dumbledore would take his godson away no matter how much he opposed.

Since the Dursleys are still under the supervision of the Muggle court, Harry should be able to live well until he comes of age.
