Well, this book has already reached 300,000 words without me noticing. If I change to the previous book "Zhan Mei", it would have been finished at this word count. In comparison, this book is still far from being finished.

There is no doubt that the pace of this book is relatively slow, but it also comes with a problem, that is, everyone feels that the content is bland and not exciting enough.

However, people are different. Some readers may find this acceptable, while others are not satisfied.

But anyway, I do know a lot of problems, such as Bai Ye does not have the personality of Madara.

Regarding this point, it is not that I don't want to, but I really can't. I feel that this is one of my biggest flaws, that is, the character of the male protagonist is not well shaped. If readers have read my previous three old books, they will find that the character of my male protagonist is almost the same.

I really only know how to write this type of male protagonist, which is neither good nor bad. In fact, I have been writing books for five years, and even the fantasy works I wrote in the first four years are all of this type of character.

Another reason is that I originally set it to only integrate Madara's abilities, not his personality. But the key reason for this setting is that I really can't write Madara's personality. If the character setting is written too poorly, it will be counterproductive. In this case, it is better not to have Madara's personality at all.

I also want to change the defect of the poor characterization of the male protagonist, but it is really not easy, otherwise the book would not be like this after five years of writing.

Of course, this is a difficulty that must be overcome. From the author's point of view, it is a great plus point if the male protagonist can be well-shaped, and it can even make a leap from "fine" to "10,000 subscriptions". (This is the noun of the starting point. In more simple and easy-to-understand words, "fine" corresponds to a monthly income of more than 10,000 or 20,000, and "10,000 subscriptions" corresponds to a monthly income of more than 50,000. Of course, this is just a simple example)

The leap is so exaggerated, and the difficulty is also very great. To be honest, before I started this book, I considered whether to completely integrate Madara's personality and abilities. After careful consideration, I found that I couldn't control Madara's personality, so I only integrated Madara's abilities.

That’s all about the big issue of “character setting”. Then there is another big issue, which is “rhythm”.

Since I have initially set the length of this book at one million words, the plot progresses very slowly, and I have written a lot of daily life.

Many readers may find it boring, but my general direction for this book should not change, and accordingly, I will continue to make up for the rhythm problem by adding more chapters.

Currently, there are three chapters a day (based on the normal chapter of more than 2,000 words), and there may be four chapters a day from time to time in the future. I will make up for the rhythm by updating the amount. This is the best effort I can make.

Many times it’s not that I don’t want to do better, but my ability is limited. If I suddenly speed up the pace now, I will probably break down before 500,000 words, and then end the story early or even badly after 500,000 words, just like the previous “Chainsaw Man” and “Ghoul” old books, so I dare not.

Of course, I did not write this book well with a slow pace, and it was boring, because this is my first time trying a slow pace, and I have no experience writing and groping here.

It is precisely because I know these problems exist, but I really don't have the ability to do better, so I try to compensate everyone with bursts of updates.

Otherwise, the recent data is actually quite low. If it were the previous me, I would probably just keep updating 4k a day or speed up the progress and finish it directly. If it were other authors, they might have already stopped updating or eunuchs.

You also know that there are countless people who write fan fiction and eunuchs. Basically, they have no motivation to write because the data is too low. Don't look at some books that seem to be okay with 100,000 readers. In fact, the price of fan fiction is generally very low, and there is not much manuscript fee for 100,000 readers.

Moreover, some authors have been glorious before, and it is difficult to go from luxury to thrift. For example, the last book had hundreds of thousands of readers, so when this book fell to 100,000 readers, they collapsed and didn't want to write anymore. This is human nature. I know countless such authors.

I think I have a good attitude. The previous book "Ghoul" had a maximum of 500,000 or 600,000 readers, and it has been stable at 200,000 or 300,000 readers for a long time, which is several times better than the paper data of this book, and the royalties are also doubled.

But I was not discouraged by this. On the contrary, I updated it more diligently than any previous book.

One reason is that I want to be responsible for this book and all readers. Since you find it boring, I will try to reduce everyone's complaints by updating it frequently.

The second reason is that the potential of this book is actually quite high. I was surprised to find that the unit price of this book is better than any previous one. (The so-called unit price is the unit price of advertising fees, which is more thanFor example, if there are 10,000 readers coming in on average every day, how much advertising fee can be earned? This is the unit price of Tomato)

Tomato is a free website, so the main source of income is advertising fees. The unit price of each book is different, because there are many factors that affect the unit price. In short, the simplest and most general statement is that the higher the quality, the higher the unit price.

The paper data of my book is indeed not as good as the previous one, Ghoul Double Kamui, but I wrote this book steadily all the way, unlike that book that started high and ended low, so the unit price of that book with particularly explosive data is not as good as this one (the highlight of that book was more than 500,000 readers and 10,000 requests for updates, which was much more explosive than this one)

Facts have proved that my first attempt at a slow pace was correct, but it was also because it was not done well enough in the first attempt, which made everyone uncomfortable, so I returned to the original topic and I compensated by exploding updates.

When the number of words increases, the unit price will only be higher than it is now, and it will be stable all the way to one million words and completed normally, then this book will be considered to have come to an end, which is the result I particularly hope for.

The biggest challenge now is how to survive this period of particularly low data, and I don’t know how long this period will last, so I ask for gifts every day and try to get higher royalties.

However, the recent gifts are only a dozen yuan a day, haha, but I know it’s due to the slow pace, so I have no complaints, and I still keep updating, and even take time to write extra chapters for three old books that have no income at all.

I personally think that my professional attitude is pretty good. While I am updating this new book with low data, I also find time to write a sequel to improve the defects of the previous three old books, and I am also a part-time worker...

In summary, whether it is "personality" or "rhythm", if the level is so easy to improve, there will not be so many failed authors in this world. They also want to achieve results, but they can only make a few hundred yuan a month after working hard...

I am already doing my best, so I hope everyone will be lenient. I basically don't read book reviews now, because I dare not read them, for fear that reading them will affect my writing mentality. If there is a problem in the writing, it will be terrible, because emotions will affect the quality of writing. (Book reviews are book reviews, which are different from paragraph reviews and chapter reviews. I still read both paragraph reviews and chapter reviews.)

This single chapter has been a bit long, so here is a rough plan for the future. While updating three or four chapters of the main story a day, I may write some extra stories about some characters, such as the past of the store manager and the past of At... This will not slow down the rhythm of the main story, and it will also make the content of this book richer.

This is the end of the single chapter remarks. Chapter 140 will be released before 0:00. Thank you for your support until now. That's it~
