Two Worlds: I studied at Hogwarts
#165 - Returning with belongings
The tribesman was very happy as he rushed away from the small room.
Not only did he get a definite date to return home, but he was also quite certain that Muen was the High Priest successor the tribal Great Shamans were looking for.
However, when the three old men returned to the room and saw Muen's serious expression, they knew things might not be as simple as they thought.
"What's wrong? Could it be that Ember Isle really doesn't welcome foreign wizards?"
Zalan noticed Muen's expression and quickly stepped forward to ask.
"No, Ben said Star Ember Isle would welcome me very much, but there's a prerequisite: I have to be the High Priest successor he mentioned."
After hearing Muen's words, Zalan fell silent.
Hall, who was standing next to him, said leisurely.
"Why don't we just not go? Anyway, there are so many small islands in the Vina Archipelago, we can just find one and live there."
Hall's statement did not receive anyone's approval, but no one spoke up now.
After a long while, a voice rang out in the room again.
"Actually... actually, I also know an ancient ballad."
Seeing that no one was speaking, Mimir carefully took out his tattered original copy of "The Anvil Song."
"This is the earliest poem I collected, from the eastern mountainous region of the Menira Empire. The content actually describes an ancient tribal High Priest."
After Mimir flipped through a few pages of the book, he handed it to Muen.
In the tribe's ancient hall, moonlight spills on his face, the High Priest is clad in silver, his eyes like starlight, his robes flutter in the wind, embroidered with mysterious patterns, light sings on the staff, the starlight's poetry.
Muen roughly finished reading the content of the ballad and handed "The Anvil Song" to Zalan next to him.
"You old man, haven't you been to Star Ember Isle? You also have this book, why didn't you tell us about the High Priest beforehand?"
Seeing that Muen's expression was still very serious, Hall began to accuse Mimir.
"I really didn't know there was such a secret on that island. Their wizards rarely communicate with outsiders."
Hearing Mimir's answer, Hall was also very helpless. He looked at Muen, who was still thinking.
"What do you think? Are we still going?"
"Of course. Now it seems that the entire Vina Archipelago is not very safe. Although it's far from the wars on the mainland, battles between wizards still occur from time to time. Only Star Ember Isle is the only peaceful place."
Muen had actually been thinking about one thing.
That was, if something bad happened, whether he could use his abilities to take everyone away from Star Ember Isle.
Considering the strength of the tribal Great Shaman that Ben mentioned, Muen felt that the problem shouldn't be too big.
Zalan also agreed with Muen's point of view. He actually wanted to know what secrets were hidden in the little wizard he was protecting.
Now it seemed that going to Star Ember Isle was the only way to get the answer.
After deciding on things, everyone began to prepare.
Muen packed his things in the room, preparing to return to Hogwarts.
Tonight happened to be the seventh day, and Zalan stayed here as usual.
Because he was already certain that the items could be brought back, Muen brought a lot more things this time.
Monocle, Alchemy Key, Spell Ring.
Bringing all three of these items would allow Muen to take the time to study Alchemy runes at Hogwarts.
Batfish powder, to make Little Living Death potions for Cedric and exchange spells with Professor Snape,
Bring a few more Flame Snails, in addition to making dragon dung fertilizer for Sprout, also as snacks for the Giant Squid.
Most importantly, of course, was the Old Willow Wand, which Muen would always hold firmly in his hand.
"The suitcase is still a bit too small, it can't fit a few Flame Snails at all."
Muen knew that the Giant Squid had a very large appetite, so he planned to pack a few more of these seafood snacks for it.
But the capacity of the suitcase was limited, and it could only fit ten at most.
"I remember when I bought this box, the boss said that I could add the [Undetectable Extension Charm] to it. Maybe I can learn it and try to add it."
Muen spent a lot of money when he bought this box. The owner of the second-hand shop kept promoting that its manufacturing material was very good.
That night, Muen reappeared on the long-missed four-poster bed.
After confirming that the suitcase and wand in both hands were there, Muen couldn't help but feel a little excited.
He got out of bed gently, and just as Muen was about to put the suitcase away, his eyes swept to the bed next door and Harry was not in the dormitory.
"He wouldn't have gone out to wander the castle again, would he?"
Muen had just finished speaking when he heard the dormitory door being pushed open with a 'yikes'.
"Where have you been? I looked all over the castle for you and couldn't find you."
Muen was about to ask Harry where he had gone, but he didn't expect that the little wizard would ask even faster.
"Well, I just went to a very far place in my dream."
Muen didn't know how to explain it, so he could only euphemistically describe his experience.
"In a dream? Do you have somnambulism?"
Harry still had an incredulous expression on his face when he spoke.
"Well, it should be similar to somnambulism."
Seeing that Harry already somewhat believed him, Muen quickly explained.
"Okay, I think you should come with me to see something, it's just too amazing."
Harry said and was about to pull Muen out of the dormitory.
Noticing that Harry was very excited and might wake up the other little wizards.
Muen had no choice but to follow Harry out of the dormitory.
"Do you know? Just now, in order to find you, I almost finished wandering around the castle, and then I found a magical mirror."
Harry wasn't sure why Muen had disappeared.
He had been guessing who was most likely to steal the Philosopher's Stone lately.
This matter had been replaying in his mind, so he inevitably ignored what was happening around him.
"I know that you, like me, have never seen your biological parents, but this mirror can definitely fulfill your wishes."
At the beginning of the school year, the little wizards had introduced themselves, and Muen also said that he had grown up with his uncle since he was a child. Harry felt very sympathetic to him at the time.
Seeing that Harry was speaking very seriously and his expression was unusually excited, Muen couldn't help but become a little curious.
After confirming that no one had discovered them, the two secretly passed through the portrait door and left the common room.
"Wait a minute, let me recall if I just came back from here?"
After Harry led Muen down three spiral staircases, he was a little unsure of the direction he had come from.
When he was wandering the castle just now, he was frightened by Filch's voice and hurriedly ran back towards the common room, so he didn't remember the exact route.
"Um, it should... it should be this staircase."
Harry hesitated for a long time and still couldn't be sure, but Muen had a solution at this time.
Seeing that Harry was still trying to identify the direction, Muen walked towards the two small lanterns in the distance corner.
"Mrs. Norris, I would like to ask you to help me find out where Harry stayed just now, okay?"
Filch's cat had already appeared in the corner when Harry was hesitating.
But seeing that it was Muen here, it didn't come out or make a sound.
"What are you doing! Muen, come back, that's Filch's accomplice!"
Seeing a tabby cat walking out of the shadows of the corner, Harry's expression became tense.
He knew that many little wizards had been caught by this cat and then summoned Filch.
"Don't worry, actually Mrs. Norris is still very friendly."
As Muen spoke, the cat on the ground tilted its head and glared fiercely at Harry, and then sweetly meowed at Muen.
"Meow ~" (I want to be petted ~)
