Two Worlds: I studied at Hogwarts
#227 - Snape's rampage
After sending Moon back to the Leaky Cauldron, Snape slowly made his way to Malfoy Manor alone.
By the time he arrived, the sky had completely darkened.
The hall of Malfoy Manor was already filled with a large number of wizards.
There were heads of functional departments of the Ministry of Magic, successful businessmen engaged in various fields of wizarding life, and members of some ancient magical families.
Most of these people were prominent figures in the British wizarding world, and they were now standing in small groups, enjoying this extremely pleasant time.
They were not invited to Malfoy Manor for the banquet because of Snape's receipt of the Order of Merlin.
Rather, it was because they valued the Malfoy family's wealth and needed to expand their social circles.
When Snape walked expressionlessly into the Malfoy family's castle, the house-elf Dobby immediately ran back to tell his master.
"Oh, Professor Snape, you've finally arrived. Everyone has been waiting for you for a long time."
Perhaps because the host had spoken, the wizards around, who were originally drinking on their own, gathered in twos and threes to offer Snape their compliments.
"Sorry, I was delayed by something on the way."
Snape casually took a cocktail from the tray held by Dobby, raised it, and clinked glasses with Lucius.
"Oh, it doesn't matter. Anyway, you are the protagonist tonight. If you don't come, the banquet can't begin."
After Lucius finished speaking, he put down his glass and clapped his hands.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the protagonist of tonight has arrived. The banquet officially begins. Everyone can enjoy themselves to the fullest."
Hearing Lucius's words, the surrounding wizards also raised their glasses and toasted each other from afar.
Snape had already started walking away from the crowd.
Because they knew Snape's temperament, he had a specific location at Malfoy Manor.
It was very remote and quiet, and he would not be disturbed by others. The dinner lasted until late at night, and Snape sat alone at the dining table, waiting for the boring banquet to end.
Raising his glass again and taking a sip of the cocktail, Snape noticed a familiar figure appearing before him.
"Professor Snape! I've been looking for you for a long time. Why are you hiding here?"
Slughorn, the shop owner, was also one of the invited guests today.
Unlike the others who wanted to curry favor with the Malfoy family, he came to the banquet for Snape.
"Professor, thank you so much. You must have a few more drinks with me today."
Before Snape could react, Slughorn grabbed a glass from the side and poured two full glasses of high-proof rum.
"Professor, come on, drink! I'm really so happy today. This is the first time in more than a decade."
Watching the other party gulp it down, Snape grimaced, took a deep breath, and also took large gulps.
"That's right. You help me, I help you. In the future, if there are such businesses, you can completely introduce them to Slug \u0026 Jiggers Apothecary."
"Cough... cough, wait, Slughorn..."
After being forced down three glasses of high-proof rum in a row, Snape was already feeling dizzy.
He placed one hand on the other party's arm, stopping him from pouring more wine, and then asked with a flushed face.
"You've said so much, but I still haven't figured out what business I introduced to you that made you so happy?"
"Oh, Professor, you may be too busy researching potions and have forgotten. Moon Scarlette, you should know him, right?"
Hearing the name of a familiar little lion, Snape nodded dizzily.
"I know, he's my student."
"Yes, it was him who sent a snow berry to my shop this morning."
The more Slughorn spoke, the happier he became. He even wanted to pour Snape another glass of wine.
"What berry?"
"Snow berry, the one that grows on the snow mountain and has become extinct..."
This time Snape heard clearly. His eyes suddenly widened, and the wine glass in his hand creaked as he gripped it.
"Professor, Professor, are you alright?"
Seeing that Snape hadn't spoken for a long time and his eyes were dazed, Slughorn called out anxiously several times.
"So much for trust, you're all liars!"
As soon as Snape finished saying a word through gritted teeth, the wine glass in his hand exploded with a bang.
"Professor, your hand ~"
"It's alright."
Seeing that blood was already dripping from his left hand, Snape slowly took out his wand and cast a [Healing Charm] on his left hand.
"Mr. Slughorn, please tell Lucius that I have something to go out for a bit, and tell him not to wait for me."
After Snape finished speaking, he immediately cast a [Disapparition] and disappeared from the chair.
At the same time, Moon, at the Leaky Cauldron, had also prepared many things, big and small, and hung them on his body.
He left this world.
Thump! Squeak!
The berth in the cabin was very small, only enough for one person to lie flat.
So when Moon appeared on the small bed with his wand and flying broom, he accidentally fell down.
"Why did you bring so many things this time?"
After hearing the noise, Zalan immediately walked over and helped Moon unpack the bundles on his body.
"These brooms and wands are for the wizards on Star燼 Island, and these delicacies are for you. Merry Christmas!"
Seeing the familiar figure, Moon was very happy.
"Christmas? What is this festival?"
"A festival celebrated by wizards. There will be many delicacies on this day. I want you to try them too."
After Zalan had gathered all the things, Beng Beng had already started admiring the new home with Chi Chi. "The food is fine, but how are you going to explain so many extra wands and brooms all of a sudden? Especially to those three Great Wizards."
Zalan stood in front of the table, feeling worried about these props.
He was very clear that although Moon had now been recognized by the wizards on Star Island, this huge secret on his body definitely could not be shown to others casually.
Otherwise, Moon might be identified as the next Demon.
"Don't worry, actually I've been thinking about this problem all along. In the future, I'll say that the things I bring back were originally in the cabin of the Crimson Moon."
With Moon's current magical strength, he still couldn't hide the secret inherent in him, so he could only use this method to cover it up a bit.
As for if anyone still wants to explore in the future, then Moon can only let the other party try whether his wand is sharp or not.
"Okay, it seems that we need to strengthen the patrols on the Crimson Moon in the future."
"No, you can just go and do your own things. The protection of the Crimson Moon is still left to me."
Moon was very clear that as the things he did became bigger and bigger, there would inevitably be many dark wizards who wanted to board the ship to pick up treasures.
These people were not the kind that the strength of Old Soldier Lane could deal with, so it could only be left to the wizards to do.
Of course, the wizards' guard was only on the deck or outside the ship, because Moon had already cast various anti-theft spells and warning mechanisms in the cabin.
Anyone who entered the third floor without his permission would trigger the alarm.
However, these methods were not enough. Moon planned to learn the set of protection barriers from the Hogwarts professors and use them to defend his Crimson Moon.
