Two Worlds: I studied at Hogwarts
#27 - New friends
At dinner, Harry, who had worried everyone, returned without any punishment.
Although no one knew what this gentle little wizard had experienced, every new student was congratulating him.
"Moon, was that pebble you who threw it!"
After happily responding to everyone's congratulations, Harry went straight to the dining table, his eyes fixed on Moon.
Hermione, who was reading a book and eating at the dining table opposite, also turned her head. She thought she was the only one who knew Moon had done it.
"What pebble? Harry," Ron asked curiously, leaning closer.
"It was the pebble that hit Malfoy's broom. If Moon hadn't hit him, I was planning to crash into him."
"So it was you who did it. I was wondering why Malfoy was looking for so long and couldn't figure out who it was, haha. Awesome..."
Ron's voice grew louder and louder, but Harry directly covered his mouth. Malfoy at the next table was already looking over.
Seeming to realize that Harry hadn't been expelled, his eyes were very unfriendly.
Ron also glanced at Malfoy's frustrated expression, nodded happily, and then Harry took his hand away.
"Moon, your slingshot accuracy is too good. Malfoy must have been fifty feet in the air at the time, yet you were able to hit the head of his broom!" Ron asked Moon happily after taking a bite of pie.
"This is nothing. Moon taught Dudley, my cousin, a lesson with a slingshot at the zoo. The distance at that time was much farther than today."
The incident Harry was talking about happened before the start of school. At that time, Moon simply couldn't stand that fat boy bullying his own kind, so he hit Harry's cousin's hand with a piece of wood carving scrap.
"If that's true, then Moon, you could totally be a Chaser on the Quidditch team."
Although Moon had been listening to Hermione nag about "Quidditch Through the Ages" for a week, he didn't understand what a Chaser did.
Because Hermione's focus was on the rules of flying, she hadn't said anything about the rules of the game.
However, when Ron mentioned the Quidditch team, Harry's expression became excited.
Under the curious questioning of the three, Harry revealed that he had become the Seeker for the Gryffindor team.
"One of you is a first-year Seeker, and the other is about to join Professor Sprout's club. How am I supposed to live?"
Ron said, his mood becoming lonely. Ever since the start of school and seeing the impact of Harry's fame, he had been very concerned about these things.
Especially now that he discovered that the people around him were becoming more and more amazing, he felt even more depressed.
Moon had finished eating at this time. He walked over and patted Ron on the shoulder.
"The Wizard Chess King of Hogwarts, enjoy your meal. I'll go first."
Hearing Moon's joking words of comfort, Ron's mood improved immediately.
He realized that he also had strengths.
"Okay, future Chaser, go take a look at your saplings," Ron shouted happily towards Moon, who was about to leave the Great Hall.
However, as soon as he finished speaking, Malfoy's mocking voice came from not far away.
"Chess King, Chaser, based on you guys..."
......
Every morning, Moon would move the saplings to the balcony, and in the evening, he would move them back to the dormitory.
When Neville wasn't injured before, he would help Moon move them together. Now, only Bouncing was cheering him on from the side.
During the day, Bouncing would be responsible for guarding these three saplings, preventing other students' pets from ruining them.
Don't underestimate Bouncing's size, but in Gryffindor Tower, it already had its own honorary title.
Six-Crown King.
And Moon was also honored to become a friend of the Six-Crown King.
After moving all three potted saplings to the dormitory, Harry and Ron also returned to the common room.
Moon noticed that the two of them didn't look too good, and Hermione was also a little strange, always glancing in the direction of Harry and Ron while reading.
Seeing that the three of them weren't saying what had happened, Moon also quietly began reading the book he had borrowed from the library.
"Wand Making and Maintenance" had already been read, and Moon was preparing to delve into more magic books.
As for which ones to read, he didn't need to bother considering, because Hermione would provide a reasonable reading list.
When most of the students had returned to the dormitory, Moon took Bouncing to the bathroom.
He didn't know what this little guy had been up to, but these past two days, it always had a strong fishy smell on it.
"Squeak ~"
Bouncing was playing with bubbles in the bathroom while explaining to Moon that it had gotten the smell all over itself because it was preparing a gift for a new friend.
"Made a new friend, huh? That's a good thing."
"Squeak?"
"Of course I won't be angry. As long as Bouncing is happy at Hogwarts, we can come take a bath every day."
After drying Bouncing with a towel, Moon carried it back to the dormitory.
......
The next morning, Moon got up at six o'clock to read, as usual.
When he had finished reading "Oxford Reading Tree", his roommates also came out one after another.
"Didn't you guys sleep well last night?"
Moon noticed that Harry, Ron, and Neville actually had dark circles under their eyes, which made him suspect that something had happened last night.
"No, we went to..."
Ron was about to say something when Hermione came out of the girls' dormitory.
"Ron, your voice is too loud. It will let other people hear."
Hermione also had dark circles under her eyes, and her tone was very unfriendly.
Ron wanted to retort, but thinking that Hermione might have guessed correctly about what happened last night, he closed his mouth.
"What exactly happened? This morning is two periods of Potions class. Aren't you afraid of being punished by Snape like this?"
Hearing that it was two periods of Potions class, Harry and Ron wailed, while Neville was stunned in place.
The Potions class experience from last week was still vivid in his mind, and Neville was now very afraid of Snape.
"How about Neville and I be a group today? I just so happen to have previewed the content."
Moon looked at Neville, whose eyes were already moist, and walked over to pat him on the shoulder.
"But I don't know anything..."
"Don't worry, you just need to take notes, and I'll take care of the rest."
The group of people spoke and arrived at the Great Hall. On the way, Harry quietly told Moon what had happened last night.
The few of them had actually gone to a rendezvous in the middle of the night, an agreement to duel with Malfoy.
"Damn it, that coward Malfoy actually didn't show up," Ron said, still feeling angry.
"I told you guys a long time ago, Malfoy tricked you. He didn't plan to go there and duel you at all."
Hermione's tone was very stern, probably because she felt that she had also been implicated and become a bad student who violated school rules.
"Alright, at least we know what's hidden under the trapdoor."
Ever since Harry learned about the news of the Gringotts robbery, he had been paying attention to the small package that Hagrid had taken away.
Last night, when they were avoiding Filch, they discovered a trapdoor guarded by a three-headed dog in a dark room.
Harry felt that what Hagrid had taken away was likely hidden underneath.
However, it seemed that only he and Ron were paying attention to this matter. Hermione was still angry that she had become a student who violated the rules.
Neville was worried about the upcoming Potions class.
As for Moon, he only wanted to study magic properly in order to cope with the war that Xilin was about to break out.
Seeing that his friends weren't paying much attention to this matter, Harry became a little disappointed.
But when he received a mysterious package for breakfast, he also forgot about the things hidden under the trapdoor.
