Two Worlds: I studied at Hogwarts
#69 - Bounce wish
Because of the troll incident tonight, the Halloween feast lasted a very long time.
The feast didn't end until midnight when the professors had to urge the students to leave.
The first-year students who returned to their dormitories were still very excited because it was a holiday everyone spent together after coming to school.
Especially Ron, many people at the dinner table consulted him about the Tickling Charm.
Even on the way back, two girls surrounded him, asking for specific details, which gave him a great sense of satisfaction.
Mune also received a lot of attention, but George and Fred were always standing around him, and everyone's attention was always unconsciously drawn to the twins.
Mune now also enjoys being with these two red-haired Weasleys, because they always bring laughter and can reduce the attention on him.
After returning to the dormitory, before Mune could lie down, Bouncy crawled out of the tree nest.
“Chirp?” (Why do you have the scent of other animals on you?)
“Other animals? Are you talking about the troll?”
Mune subconsciously smelled his clothes, which now only had a lingering aroma of food.
“Chirp!” (It's the scent of a bird!)
“A bird? Oh, I saw a phoenix today.”
“Chirp?” (Really? Can I meet it?)
“That might be…”
......
Mune often talked to his pet in the dormitory, which was no longer a novelty in the eyes of his roommates.
However, hearing Mune say "phoenix" still attracted the attention of the young wizards.
“Mune, did you see that fire phoenix, Fawkes?”
Ron, who was originally immersed in the joy of being a "Tickling Charm tutor," sat up straight from his bed when he heard Mune speak.
“That's right, that big bird was so beautiful.”
Mune said, suddenly turning to look at Ron.
“Ron, do you know how to see a phoenix?”
“Haven't you already seen one?”
Harry got out of bed at this time and looked at Mune.
“It's Bouncy, it wants to see one.”
“Oh, okay.”
Harry was very clear that Mune cared very much about his pet, and Mune would generally satisfy anything Bouncy asked for.
As the pet with the highest status in the dormitory, Bouncy not only has its own exclusive room, bed, toys, and tableware, but even gets rewarded with some coins from Mune every once in a while.
Harry had never seen this kind of treatment on other pets that were kept.
Even Dudley's aunt Marge Dursley's dog, Ripper, and Mrs. Figg's cat next door didn't have this kind of treatment.
Not to mention Ron's rat and Neville's toad.
In Harry's opinion, Bouncy had completely exceeded the limits of a pet, and it lived better than ordinary wizards.
After hearing that it was Bouncy who wanted to see the phoenix, Ron thought for a moment and immediately thought of something.
“It's not easy to see Dumbledore, and his phoenix is even harder to see than him.”
Ron paused deliberately after saying this, and after everyone looked at him, he coughed and continued.
“But in fact, the magical world doesn't just have Fawkes the phoenix.”
“There are others? I always thought it was very rare.”
Harry also said somewhat unexpectedly.
“Of course, phoenixes are indeed rare, but there should still be some in the wild, but as far as I know, there are only two that have been tamed.”
“One is the Dumbledore family's Fawkes, and the other is the New Zealand Quidditch team's mascot, Spark.”
Ron's knowledge of the magical world far exceeds his classmates, and his love for Quidditch is even greater.
So when Mune encounters magical world common sense questions he doesn't know, he will ask Ron for answers.
“Quidditch team?”
Harry also perked up when he heard the name Quidditch.
“That's right, the Motora Kings team, it is said that every time the Quidditch World Cup is held, that phoenix will come out.”
“I remember the next World Cup is in '94, right?” Seamus joined the discussion at this time.
“That's right, so if Bouncy wants to see a phoenix, the most suitable opportunity would be at the Quidditch World Cup.”
After listening to Ron's description, Mune conveyed the specific time to Bouncy.
However, this little guy doesn't seem to be able to accept seeing the phoenix in three years.
Even after Mune repeatedly assured it that he would take it to see it, Bouncy still ruthlessly returned to the tree nest.
“By the way, Mune, you can really consider being a Gryffindor team chaser, based on your ability to hit the troll, believe me, you definitely can.”
Ron has persuaded Mune several times to participate in the Quidditch tryouts in the second grade.
However, Mune has no thoughts in this regard. His study time is already very tight, and he also knows Harry's training situation very well.
Playing Quidditch.
In his opinion, it is better to practice more spells or read more books.
“By the way, you keep saying chaser, if I hit accurately, shouldn't I be a beater?”
Mune didn't directly reject Ron's proposal, but instead asked the question in his heart.
However, Ron didn't answer this question, Harry had already eagerly taken over the conversation.
“Actually, either is fine. Chasers score goals, while beaters are responsible for hitting the ball out to hit people and protect teammates.”
Harry, who had participated in more than a dozen trainings, explained it clearly in just one simple sentence.
Moreover, Harry knew very well why Ron didn't recommend Mune to be a beater, because his twin brothers were the two beaters on the Gryffindor team.
Mune didn't spend his mind on Quidditch, but after lying down, he remembered that he had applied for a classroom.
“By the way, I applied to Dumbledore for a classroom to practice spells, are you interested?”
“Independent classroom! Wow! Really!”
Ron, who was originally preparing to sleep, sat up again.
“That's right, Dumbledore said it's on the second floor, next to the hospital wing.”
“I'm going, the common room is too messy, it's disturbing my chess playing.”
“I'll go too.”
“After I finish Quidditch training, I'll go over too.”
......
The roommates were very supportive, which made Mune very happy.
“By the way, I want to remind you that Dumbledore said he will arrange for Filch to guard the whole time.”
“Ah~, then forget it.”
Hearing Filch's name, Ron immediately retracted what he had just said. He had been disgusted with Filch since school started.
“Then I won't go either...” Seamus's voice came.
“I……” Neville stammered.
“It's okay, don't force yourself, anyway, the classroom is there, you can go by yourselves if you want to.”
“Chirp!”
Mune was about to comfort everyone not to force themselves when Bouncy crawled out of the tree nest.
“You want to go?”
“Chirp!” (That's right, I want to see Mrs. Norris)
Mrs. Norris is Filch's Maine Coon cat. Mune knew that Bouncy had a good relationship with it, so he agreed.
“Okay, I'll take you tomorrow.”
After receiving Mune's guarantee, Bouncy happily returned to the tree nest to rest.
Also after the little wizards rested, Professor McGonagall received a message from Fawkes and came to the headmaster's office.
