Unseal at Hogwarts

Chapter 30 The Beating Spot

I don't know why, but compared to the bustle on other floors of the castle, the eighth floor seems particularly quiet.

There was no sound of students laughing and playing, no sound of excited conversation among portrait painters, only the huge stone beast at the door of the principal's office staring at Tom with big, emotionless eyes.

"Uh... Principal Dumbledore asked me to come..." Under the stone beast's lifeless gaze, Tom even began to stutter when he spoke.

"The password." The stone beast said coldly.

"The password...the password is..." Tom was so nervous that he forgot whether Dumbledore's note had a password written on it.

He rummaged through his pockets, trying to find the note, but no matter how he looked, the note seemed to be no longer in his pocket.

The note may have been lost during his run.

"I...I'm going to find the piece of paper with the password written on it!" Tom turned and ran away.

The stone beast sighed quietly: "I hope you can still find it."

After saying that, the stone beast closed his eyes.

"Ta, ta, ta"

The entire eighth floor echoed with Tom's footsteps.

Tom lowered his head and carefully looked at the ground where he came from. There was nothing on the ground except messy footprints.

He had to go down the stairs.

The seventh floor, the sixth floor, the fifth floor... every floor of the castle was so quiet, as if Tom was the only one left in the whole castle.

"What's going on?" Tom finally noticed something was wrong. He slowed down and looked around cautiously.

The castle is still the same castle, except that the portraits in the portraits near the corridor have disappeared, and the students who were originally active on each floor have also disappeared.

"I think it's time for you to be with your classmates - such as Potter, who has been inseparable from you."

Tom suddenly remembered what Professor Snape said to him on the day Moody disappeared.

Could he be in some terrible trouble?

Tom cautiously held the silver-haired basswood wand in his hand. He first touched his pocket with his other hand to make sure that the Clow card was still in his pocket, and then firmly grasped the bird's head wand hanging on his chest.

"Is anyone there?" Tom shouted.

"Is there anyone——" "Is there anyone——" "...Is there anyone——" "...Is there——"

His voice echoed in the empty castle.

This made Tom panic.

The current situation is obviously abnormal. When Tom shouted so loudly, no student or professor responded to him.

"Could it be the Clow card again?" Tom secretly guessed, while tightening his hand on the bird-headed wand.

The wand touched Tom's palm through the clothes, which made Tom feel relieved a lot.

"This is the time to test you, Tom." Tom took a deep breath and encouraged himself.

Before coming to Hogwarts, he had never faced emergencies in life alone. However, because of the "Shi" and "Xian" cards, he returned to three years ago, and there was also Ruberos accompanying him.

This time, he faced the suddenly strange Hogwarts alone, which was indeed a huge test for Tom.

"Don't panic." Tom raised his silver-haired basswood wand to his chest with a serious look on his face.

"If it is really the Clow card that caused the problem, I will definitely have a way to solve it."

He cheered himself up in his heart.

"But Rubelos said that if you want to seal the Clow Card, you must first find the location of the Clow Card." He suppressed the panic in his heart and closed his eyes, "As long as I feel it seriously, I can know the Clow Card.

Where are the cards."

While recalling the secret that Kerubelos told him about feeling the Clow Cards, he worked hard to find it.

His breathing gradually slowed down, and the violent heartbeat caused by running and nervousness also strangely calmed down.

"Bang-bang-bang"

This is the sound of his heartbeat.

Feel carefully the fluctuations of energy.

Tom reminded himself.

"call--"

This is the sound of the breeze blowing through the corridor.

"brush--"

This is the sound of his robe brushing the ground.

"Tum, tom, tom"

Hey, what is this movement?

Tom suddenly felt an unusual movement in the castle.

Like a naughty child throwing a pebble into the calm water, an indescribable wave rippled not far from Tom.

"Is this energy fluctuation?" Tom moved his eyelids doubtfully, trying to open his eyes.

"No, no." He immediately closed his eyes tightly again, "Maybe this is just my imagination."

Tom thought.

But this movement like water waves that wanted to spread made Tom very concerned. He focused almost all his attention on the center of this "water wave".

The instigator of this movement seemed to have noticed Tom, and it began to move farther away.

"No matter!" Tom suddenly opened his eyes and ran after him.

The amazing thing is that even now that Tom has his eyes open, he can still feel the location of the strange movement.

"Maybe this is really Clow's card!" Tom thought happily as he chased.

He followed his feeling, jumped up the stairs three steps at a time, and ran to the eighth floor with a thump.

"Maybe I should unseal the key first?" Tom hesitated in his heart, "At this speed, I will catch up with that thing soon. If it is a Clow card, and the key is in the form of a wand, I can catch Clow faster.

Is it sealed by Luo Pai?"

But then, he rejected the idea himself: "No, no, what if that thing is not a Clow Card? What if it is actually a ghost? I am afraid I will be laughed at for holding such a pink wand, right?"

"Forget it," Tom quickened his pace, "We'll wait until we catch up."

The thing seemed to be tired from running. Tom just stepped up to the eighth floor and it stopped not far away.

Tom looked up and saw a golden light spot the size of a firefly dancing four or five meters in front of him.

"Hehe~"

Vaguely, Tom also heard the strange laughter coming from the light spot.

If you are so good at playing, I guess it is the Clow card.

Tom felt relieved.

He looked around and saw no one on the eighth floor. Even the stone beast in front of the principal's office at the end had his eyes closed and was asleep.

Tom made a quick decision, took out the key hanging on his chest, and whispered softly: "Unlock the seal!"

"Haw!"

As the magic circle lit up under Tom's feet, the light spot made a strange cry, jumped up and down a few times, and ran towards the depths of the eighth floor in a flash.

Tom immediately rushed to follow, and as he ran, he didn't forget to take out the Clow card from his pocket.

He didn't notice that the stone beast with closed eyes in the distance quietly opened its eyes and grinned at Tom's leaving figure.

"Wind, please turn it into a chain and trap everything that escapes!" Tom blurted out without thinking.

Immediately, he threw out the "Wind" card neatly, and the bird-headed wand accurately pointed on the "Wind" card.

[In the past two weeks, the collection has grown more slowly than a snail. I almost shut myself down. But when I looked at it today, it suddenly grew again. I’m so happy! I’m so happy, please give me a recommendation vote! 】
