Chapter 447 Airworthiness Certificate (3rd update)
The next day, Secretary Xiao Li, who was far away in Canada, brought Qin Hailang good news, which was about the Star Super Transporter-T1.
"Boss Qin, all the procedures and production licenses for the Star Super Transporter-T1 have been completed. The factory building has also been built. The T1 production line is currently being installed. I have almost purchased the raw materials, and production can be carried out in about half a month." Secretary Xiao Li called.
"Very good, I know, come on." Qin Hailang said lightly.
"Yes."
"By the way, your aircraft manufacturing plant needs to be expanded, and prepare three more large plants for me. I have three passenger aircraft production lines to install. I will send you the design drawings later." Qin Hailang said.
"There is also a passenger aircraft production line?" Xiao Li was surprised. But he didn't ask more, but nodded in agreement.
After the other party hung up the phone, Qin Hailang said to himself: "It seems that the super transporter will be able to test fly soon."
In fact, the production of aircraft requires a lot of procedures, but with the current power of the Star Foundation in Canada, I believe it is not very difficult to get such a thing done.
After all, the Starry Super Transporter-T1 is positioned differently from passenger planes. Passenger planes belong to civil aviation and are used to carry people. So the requirements in all aspects are very strict. Even if you have obtained a production license, a type certificate, etc. But you have not obtained an airworthiness certificate approved by European and American aviation agencies. Even if you produce an aircraft, it cannot be sold globally, let alone enter major international airports. People won't let you land at their airports. How can you make a profit by transporting passengers?
However, Qin Hailang's Super Transporter-T1 is different. First of all, it is not positioned to carry people, but to transport goods. So there is no need to enter your airport at all. It is produced for your own use. It doesn't matter whether you have your airworthiness certificate or not.
In fact, this super transporter is positioned as a military transporter. Anyway, it is for your own use. When the time comes, your family will give you an airworthiness certificate. Anyway, it can be used. Why do you need your international version of the airworthiness certificate? (The airworthiness certificate is divided into a national version and an international version. The former is issued at will by the company, while the latter is difficult to obtain, and is almost a "monopoly" standard.)
Originally, when Qin Hailang was going to launch this transport aircraft, he did not plan to launch a civilian version! If it is a civilian version of the transport aircraft, an airworthiness certificate is really required. You can't transport goods without an airworthiness certificate.
However, Qin Hailang did not want to make a civilian version. After all, Boeing launched a civilian version of a large transport aircraft, but no one was interested.
That is the famous C-17. Since the United States did not order this C-17 later, Boeing promoted the civilian version of the aircraft, the BC-17 cargo aircraft, in order to save the C-17, but no one was interested.
So Qin Hailang did not consider launching a civilian version of the transport aircraft at the beginning. The Star Super Transporter-T1 he built was originally positioned as a military version. So he directly ignored the airworthiness certificate!
However, when his 808, 708, 608 and other passenger aircraft are produced in the future, then this international airworthiness certificate will be required! Without it, it really can't be sold globally, and it can't make a profit! It's like making a pile of scrap metal.
Why do all civil passenger aircraft developed by aircraft companies have to pass the airworthiness review of the European Aviation Safety Agency and the American Aviation Administration before they can be sold globally?
Many people will be puzzled!
Doesn't it mean that the large aircraft produced by a certain regional company needs the approval of the European Aviation Safety Agency and the American Aviation Administration to be sold to Brazil?
Isn't it enough for the large aircraft of a certain regional company to obtain the airworthiness certificate of the Brazilian aviation administration? It's about the relationship between the United States and Europe!
No, the facts are not as simple as you think!
In fact, the aviation groups of the United States and Europe have formed a monopoly in the world, not only a monopoly of commercial channels, but also a monopoly of key technologies (such as engines), and even a "standard" monopoly!
Most countries recognize the airworthiness certificate of the United States. Without this certificate, don't even think about entering the international market. If you don't enter the international market, you will lose money. Aircraft must be mass-produced to make money because the initial investment is huge.
Without such an airworthiness certificate, even most international airports will not let you land, citing "safety risks"!
At this point, someone will ask, if someone sells aircraft to Brazil, island countries, and South Korea, does it mean that in addition to the airworthiness certificates of their own aviation management agencies, they also need airworthiness certificates from the European Aviation Safety Agency and the United States Aviation Administration?
The answer is: the European Aviation Safety Agency and the United States United Airlines Administration have a bilateral mutual recognition agreement on airworthiness certificates! The airworthiness certificates of these two parties are actually the current world standards, and most countries accept them! Without it, it is difficult to move forward. Aviation regulations are a complete and strict set of management systems and methods formulated to ensure the safety of civil aircraft use. They are the accumulation of practical experience and are internationally recognized as the minimum requirements that must be met to ensure flight safety.
Aviation regulations cover the design, manufacture, use, maintenance, personnel and enterprise qualification certification of civil aircraft, and have clear requirements and regulations in terms of technology and management. The civil aviation manufacturing industry and civil aviation transportation industry of various countries basically follow this.
In fact, the Bear Country has also promulgated its own civil airworthiness regulations. Its new revised version is technically comparable to the international version, and its management remains almost unchanged. Although there have been some improvements, they are not thorough. The airworthiness authorities of Western countries do not recognize it on the grounds that it is still not strict enough, so the Bear Country cannot export civil aircraft to Western countries at present.
In fact, it is a monopoly!
In fact, this so-called international airworthiness certificate is the rule set by the two companies, and no one can break this rule. You can only act according to their rules.
Otherwise, your plane will fly over your own home.
Besides, how can passenger planes make a profit? Of course, there must be more routes, and long-distance passenger planes are more profitable.
Long-distance passenger planes are routes between countries, so if you don’t have this international version of the airworthiness certificate, you can’t go to other countries’ routes. In this way, the profitability of your aircraft is directly cut off from the long-distance route.
"Alas, it seems that my own super transport aircraft-T1 doesn’t matter. But when I wait for my future long-distance 808 passenger plane, I really need to get this international version of the airworthiness certificate. But this thing is so strict, it will not be easy to get it by then." Qin Hailang said in his heart.
However, he knew that he did not have the ability to break this rule at present, but he would definitely break such a rule in the future!
"When my long-distance passenger plane 808 is ready for production, I will also have to apply to the other party for approval of various audits. MMB, it is really too troublesome." Qin Hailang felt a little helpless.
