Warhammer III

Chapter 42 Dark Mechanicus

The Grey Knights began to look for an exit to the ground in order to find out which planet this was.

Along the way, they killed scattered Chaos followers. These Chaos followers were dressed gorgeously, most of them were colorful armor or luxuriously decorated clothes, and the exposed parts revealed purple tattoos representing the evil god of Slaanesh.

Their expressions were morbidly distorted, either laughing wildly and killing each other, or injecting corrupt and smelly juice in pursuit of pleasure.

Only the holy bombs could destroy their bodies without humanity, and their fallen souls were directly burned into nothingness by the psychic flames of the Purifier.

"The whole planet should be corrupted by Chaos!"

Tai Yue stated the facts expressionlessly, and now he was no longer surprised.

Soon everyone saw the steps at the exit, and then went through the steps to the ground.

"It is indeed the Bishop World Tassia!"

Tai Yue saw the statue of Nahum, the arrogant traitor who built his own statue all over the planet.

He then passed the planet's geographical data to the other Grey Knight brothers. Before coming here, he had collected relevant data on the planet Tassia in advance. After the cardinals of this world were corrupted, it was only a matter of time before the entire planet was corrupted.

"There is a huge fluctuation of chaotic energy on the highest mountain of the planet, Lavinia. It should be the center of the evil ritual!"

After receiving the data, Olcott projected the structure of the planet in the air.

The entire Bishop World is mainly plains. The Lavinia Mountains are one of the two main highlands. Black clouds shroud the mountains, and the situation inside the mountains is unclear.

In the records of the Imperial Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Lavinia Mountains have never been open to the public, and they have always advertised that the state church is being built. Now it seems that this is likely to be the base of the Chaos Cult.

"God Emperor, Olcott, you find a way to the Lavinia Mountains as soon as possible. We try to avoid the Chaos believers and go to the destination quietly."

Abraham arranged an action plan. With the Purifier's perception of chaos, it is not a problem for everyone to avoid the Chaos believers and sneak into the destination.

After a day and a night, everyone finally climbed the Lavinia Mountains. In the middle of the mountains was a heretic temple, built on the mountain, majestic and magnificent, and it was not an exaggeration to call it a fortress.

There were countless Chaos believers gathered outside the temple, and the situation inside was unknown.

"God, there is no way to get in now, what should we do?"

"We will be divided into two groups. The brothers in the first group will directly attack the main gate of the temple to attract the enemy's attention, and the brothers in the second group will take the opportunity to enter the temple from the back and destroy the evil rituals inside."

"After the brothers in the second group enter the interior, the brothers in the first group will retreat first and wait for my notice before taking action."

Abraham, Taiyue and four other purifiers were arranged in the second group, and the other five purifiers including Olcott were in the first group.

After the troops were divided into two groups, Olcott led the brothers in the first group to the main gate of the temple. The sound of the first bomb explosion quickly attracted the attention of the Chaos believers.

They were not afraid of death. They wielded the corrupted blades in their hands and rushed towards the ceramsite armor of the Purifier with their flesh and blood, but before they could get close to these battle-hardened Grey Knights, they ended their blasphemous lives.

Soon, the Chaos believers outside the temple gathered at the main gate, and a large number of combatants came out from the inside of the temple. These people were tied with bandages all over their bodies, as if they had just finished surgery. Blades and shooting weapons were connected to their limbs, and they seemed to be modified servitors.

The second group of Grey Knights quickly came to the outer wall of the temple. The outer wall was made of thick black metal and looked indestructible.

The welding gun on Taiyue's servo mechanical arm sprayed a blue high-temperature flame, melting a circular channel, and the hydraulic clamp on the right directly smashed the channel.

After entering the interior, Taiyue found that it was actually a huge factory. The turbid liquid in various glass instruments kept bubbling, and the clicking sound of the gears and the occasional flashing of electric light made the place extremely gloomy and terrifying.

Relying on the visual enhancement of the visual control organ, he saw the blasphemous sign on the instrument clearly!

The eight-pointed star representing Chaos has gears and a head in the middle. Half of the head is a skeleton without flesh and blood, and the other half is connected to the cables.

"Dark Mechanicus!"

At this moment, not only Taiyue, but also other Purifiers have solemn expressions.

The Dark Mechanicus is a heretic of the Mechanicus who turned to Chaos during the Horus Heresy. The Great Rebellion Horus promised to lift the ban on the Mechanicus' research on abomination intelligence and provided a large number of STC templates. Kalbor Har, then Mars Casting General, finally chose to betray the Emperor.

A civil war broke out between the Dark Mechanicus headed by Kalbor Har and the Mechanicus Magi who were still loyal to the Emperor. This war was called the Mars Secession War.

After the rebellion, the Dark Mechanicus priests believed that the incarnation of the Mechanical God, Ohm Messiah, came from Chaos rather than the Emperor, and they were still conducting forbidden research.

After Taiyue approached the glass instrument, he scanned the liquid inside.

There were curled up human bodies in the liquid, but these people had no subspace projection or soul.

"God-Emperor, purify these heretics!"

After Abraham said this, the Purifier brothers burned the instruments.

In the center of the temple, Sister Miriar of Slaanesh stood behind a Dark Mechanicus sage.

The body of the Dark Mechanicus Sage was covered with synthetic skin. He held a scepter-shaped weapon in his left hand. His right hand was abnormally huge after mechanical transformation. His eyes flashed red as he monitored the implantation operation in front of him.

"After the brain surgery of these battle sisters, they have become soulless Forgotten. After the "memory prosthesis" is implanted, they will become puppets that can act independently, making it easier to infiltrate other bishop worlds."

Suddenly, the demon on Mirial's grenade gun screamed.

"Grizzvaldi, uninvited guests have come to the temple. I will go to meet them."

After Mirial said this, he left here.
