At the beginning of the creation, I chose the thankless method of group portraits and behind-the-scenes writing. Wright Sugera, as my avatar and the owner of the opening perspective, gradually became the nominal protagonist in the later development of the plot. This is not my writing. The direction was wrong, but it was done deliberately.

After all, in my conception, the theme surrounding each volume is never a certain person or a certain thing, but a kind of thinking and an ideal that all forces strive to achieve. Therefore, adhering to different concepts and ideas, they will choose their own goals and complete events one by one, which will then affect a specific person.

I wanted to build a "fantasy world that is closer to reality". To this end, I created the "Chinese Language" for magic source power formation, and tried to maintain my ideas as much as possible under adverse market conditions.

What makes or destroys an era is not a specific person, but the final result of the constant competition between the forces of all parties after the productivity and production relations develop to a certain stage.

I have always firmly believed that whether they are ordinary humans or sequential gods with unique missions, their individual influence is always limited. If you want to get the expected results, you must do your best to choose the right direction and win over relevant support. , and ultimately achieve success.

Therefore, until the end of this novel, there will be no enemies that are too powerful to defeat, or a fantasy male protagonist who will destroy the world. Everyone is a sad pawn in the wasteland era, struggling to survive.

Of course, many readers and friends also pointed out to me that this book is too depressing and can easily lose readers, but isn’t the process of growing up depressing? After experiencing betrayal, pain, death, despair, etc., and finally achieving the protagonist's ideal goal, wouldn't it be more valuable and exciting?

Speaking of the first volume itself, at the beginning, my original idea was to create a complex and huge worldview, so when some readers suggested a sudden change in style between chapters five and six, I understood, but I never changed the core content.

After all, a small story about killing monsters and upgrading is not enough to explain my world view. The game between all parties behind the protagonist's suicide accident is the more exciting part worthy of attention.

To this end, I created the concept of magic power to replace the magic in traditional fantasy stories, but in the wasteland era where the aftermath of the steam age still exists, I deliberately weakened the role of magic power.

In the last few chapters, I mentioned that the magic source power comes from nature. When humans continue to try to conquer and destroy nature, the magic source power will begin to decline and become exhausted. This is a subtle reflection on the industrial age.

Of course, there are also career systems, sequential monsters, sequential gods, etc., which will also be the basic worldview structure throughout the book in addition to each country. More than 2,000 monsters and more than 200 gods will be revealed one by one in the later stages. Readers, please look forward to it.

The nearly one million words of the story all happened within two months. Of course, each volume of this book is a semi-independent story, with the loneliness of the wasteland world, the emergence of sequential gods and the arrival of the Star Era as the main line, and the main ideas of exploration, adventure, knowledge and rebuilding order. throughout each volume.

The title of each volume can also be regarded as a vague summary of the central idea of ​​each volume.

At the end of the battle between Wright and Ivant, after the "Fire of Punishment" caused a lose-lose situation, I did not mention whether Wright died or not, but left an open ending.

Before the next volume of the story begins, I still need to sort out the outline and add some worldview structure documents, so I took a day off to better enter the new plot.

The story of the second volume will begin with another "nominal protagonist", telling the fate of the Cruzeid Federation in the Wasteland Era. As for the fate of Wright, readers and friends, please continue to pay attention.

This book is expected to be composed of four volumes (the upper and lower volumes of "Echo" are counted as one volume).
