Weird Wizarding World

Chapter 175 High Elf

"Okay, sir." The carriage driver responded quickly and turned around.

More than ten minutes later, the carriage slowly stopped outside a single-family white villa on Lex Street.

This is Lillian's residence.

Colin stepped out of the car and pressed the magic doorbell.

I don’t know if Senior Lilian is at home.

Not long after, the door of the villa slowly opened, and Lilian also walked out.

‘Senior Lilian doesn’t have a maid...why have I never seen one? ’

Colin thought inexplicably.

"Colin, what do you want from me?"

Lillian asked, the flowers around her exuding a hazy light.

Although this was not the first time he had seen it, Colin was still a little surprised by such a scene.

"Senior Lilian." After gathering his thoughts, Colin straightened his face and got down to business, "I'm here to ask you something... something about Lite Street."

"Do you know why Lite Street was blocked by the law enforcement team today?"

Lite Street was too close to where he lived.

Regardless of whether there is danger or not...but not knowing anything is inherently dangerous.

So out of caution, he immediately turned the car around to look for Lilian, intending to ask her, as an official wizard, what was going on in Little Street.

"Li Te Street?" Lilian was startled, her face darkened.

"Come in with me."

But she didn't answer, instead beckoning Colin to follow her inside.

Stepping into the courtyard and following Lillian, Colin was able to take a closer look at the strange flowers around him.

If you ignore the brilliance emanating from the outside of the flowers, they look no different from ordinary flowers elsewhere.

The same soft petals and tender green branches.

And there are many kinds, mainly roses, with red, pink, blue and purple mixed together, combined with a faint shimmer, making Colin feel like he is in a blurred dream.

As they stepped forward step by step, the light on the flowers behind them also extinguished little by little.

Upon entering the villa, the first thing you notice is the simple decoration just like the outside. The whole is off-white, supplemented by some green plants as embellishments.

But perhaps because of the large area on the first floor and the absence of people, Colin always felt that it was a bit deserted.

He glanced around and asked doubtfully:

"Senior Lillian, do you live here alone? Don't have a maid or anything like that?"

"I live alone -" Lillian nodded, then shook her head, "but I have a maid."

She didn't explain much, but took Colin to the reception area by the window on the first floor and sat down.

"Bobby."

After Colin sat down, Lillian turned her head and called into the distance.

The next second.

A radiant little man cautiously poked his head out from the corner not far away.

Colin followed Lilian's gaze and saw only a shadow flashing past.

Bobi shrank back again.

"It is very timid." Lilian explained to him, and then called again, "Come out, Bobi, this is my junior, don't be afraid."

"Bobby."

A crisp, thin voice came from around the corner.

"Don't be afraid, little Bobi." Lilian comforted her again.

After another moment, a mini and delicate figure finally appeared in Colin's sight.

With a fist-sized body, blond hair, and an emerald green plant skirt, this is an elf with a girlish appearance.

At this moment, it was lowering its head slightly, and shyly flapped its translucent wings with golden lines on its back to fly towards here.

‘So the maid that Senior Sister Lillian was talking about was this elf? ’

But the next second, Colin's pupils shrank slightly, and then he discovered what was special about Bobi.

The little figure raised his head and glanced at him, then turned his head sharply to avoid seeing him.

As it turned its head, its golden hair floated up, revealing a pointed ear...

This is actually an elf with high elf blood!

As we all know, high elves use pointed ears as a symbol of noble blood.

The ears of ordinary elves are no different from those of humans. However, because of their worship of high elves, ordinary elves will use special means to make their ears pointed when they reach adulthood.

But in order not to cross the rules, there is still a big difference between the pointed ears of ordinary elves and the natural pointed ears of real high elves.

Colin happened to read this knowledge when he was looking for information in the Xisheng Library.

If you read it correctly, the elf in front of you is obviously born with pointed ears...

On the other side, Bobi flew crookedly because of nervousness, and finally flew to Lilian's side.

"Bobby!"

It made a clear cry and swooped behind Lilian's hair.

"Go and make two cups of black tea." Lilian smiled and said softly to Bobi, then turned to him and asked, "Junior Colin, do you want to add milk or brown sugar?"

"No need to add anything, thank you, senior sister." Collin replied after gathering his thoughts.

Watching the elf figure leave, Colin couldn't help but ask:

"Senior Lillian, does Bobi have the blood of a high elf?"

"I remember it was recorded in the book that hybrids with pointed ears would follow the information left in their blood to guide them to the ancestral land of the high elves that have almost disappeared, right?"

Lilian smiled, shook her head and said, "Bobi probably doesn't have the blood of high elves. Its pointed ears may just be some kind of mutation."

"I originally thought that Bobi had the blood of a high elf, but in fact, it can't even speak, and its magic power is only equivalent to that of a junior wizard apprentice... It really doesn't seem like it has the blood of a high elf."

At this point, Lily settled down and concluded: "Bobi is just an ordinary elf who is close to me but is afraid of people."

"I see." Colin nodded, not doubting Lillian's judgment.

He has not forgotten that Lilian is a genuine hybrid of high elf and human... Lilian's judgment is obviously more accurate than his.

Thinking of this, Colin subconsciously glanced at Lilian's ears... They were not pointed ears, just ordinary human ears.

It seems that there is not much high elf in Lilian's bloodline, and she does not show the characteristic of pointed ears.

The interlude ended with Colin feeling a little amused at his own surprise.

But soon, he gathered his thoughts and continued to ask Lilian:

"So, Senior Sister Lilian, why is Lite Street... blocked?"

Back in the villa, with the protection of the witch formation, Lilian did not continue to talk about it, but straight to the point:

"Because of the gods."

"Last night, a believer of a god sneaked into the city of Neustadt and came to Lit Street... I don't know the specific purpose."

"But last night -" Lilian looked serious and said in a deep voice: "Almost half of the people in Lite Street died."
