1. Crude Oil Storage Tank Area: Used to store crude oil, generally located on the periphery of the refinery. Storage tanks can also be used to store petroleum products, such as gasoline and diesel.

2. Fine Chemical Industry Area: Mainly completes the work of processing and treating crude oil, including processes such as cracking, hydrogenation, desulfurization, denitrogenation, and desalination.

3. Energy Production Area: Mainly produces fuel gas, liquefied petroleum gas, petroleum coke and other products through various methods to support the operation of the refinery.

4. Separation Area: Separates the mixtures produced in the fine chemical industry area to obtain products of various components, such as gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, lubricating oil, etc.

5. By-product Area: Mainly treats waste gas, waste water, waste residue, etc. generated in the above production processes to ensure that the refinery's production environment and the surrounding environment are not polluted.

6. Laboratory and Testing Area: Tests and analyzes the raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products in the production process to ensure production quality.

7. Office Area and Facilities Area: Including employee offices, rest rooms, canteens, clinics, fire stations and other basic facilities.

8. Wharf Area: Including cargo loading and unloading, crude oil transportation and unloading, finished oil loading and other functions."

Zhang Qizheng had obviously done his homework and knew these things like the back of his hand, answering in great detail.

Leaving the crude oil storage tank area, Su Cheng and the others arrived at the fine chemical industry area, which was also the initial processing of crude oil.

"Currently, our construction team is building this area, and has completed about one-eighth of the entire factory area. The other places are still empty. After seeing this, it will be almost done," Zhang Qizheng said with a smile.

What was presented in front of Su Cheng was an area under construction. Various towers, oil tanks, water towers, pipelines, etc. were being installed and constructed. Although the sun was scorching, the workers were still sweating and working hard.

"Well, how long will it take to complete the construction of the entire area?" Su Cheng asked.

"It depends on the manpower investment of the construction team. The construction of the early storage tanks is relatively simple, so the progress is very fast. The construction of other areas later will be more difficult. If there are more construction workers, the completion time will naturally be much shorter. Since the wharf directly reaches us here, the transportation of equipment is very convenient, so the installation time of our equipment can be shortened a lot. According to the feedback from the construction team, it is expected to be completed and put into use in about a year and a half at most," Zhang Qizheng replied.

After hearing this, Su Cheng didn't think the speed was slow. It took only a year and a half to complete the construction of such a large oil base, which can be said to be very fast.

Of course, the construction of the oil base is more of an assembly project. The equipment is produced and transported here, and a lot of manpower is invested here, so it is normal that the construction time only takes a year and a half.

The capital investment can be made in installments, so there is no problem of financial tension.

Su Cheng once said that he would invest billions or even tens of billions of funds in the oil industry, of course, not all of it would be invested in the construction of the base.
