After Jiang Yuyan went to the bathroom to get ready, Lu Lijun checked his messages and emails that he received. 'It's night in China. Is this guy still working?'

Lu Lijun dialed Noah's contact number. Just as he received the call, Lu Lijun spoke, "What the hell are you doing these days? I see you working all the time. Is your husband not giving you enough attention for you to drown yourself in work?"

"Stop calling him my husband. That asshole doesn't deserve it. Anyways, why did you call me instead of having fun with your wife?"

"To stop you from overworking. Stop all that and go to sleep."

"Don't worry about me. I am hanging up the call," Noah replied and disconnected the call.

"This stubborn ass," Lu Lijun frowned and called Jake who received his call after a few rings. "Where are you?"

"Working," Jake replied.

"You too?" Lu Lijun sighed, "It seems like Noah is overworking himself these days. You need to take care of him."

"At least you don't act stubborn now. Finally you have told him how you feel. Don't let things get in the way like this. Don't just give up."

"I…You don't worry about us and ruin your time."

"Are you going to him or not?" Lu Lijun asked.

"Or do you want me to return tomorrow so I can do it myself?" Lu Lijun raised his voice a little.

"I'll do it. Don't spoil your time," Jake replied.

When Lu Lijun came out of the bathroom, after taking a shower, he didn't find Jiang Yuyan in the room, 'Where has she gone?'

He looked around and stepped out of the room, "Yuyan?" he called out, only to hear her voice coming from the other room, "I am in this room."

"Anything the issue…"

"Ah, no. Just give me a moment and I will be ready. You can get ready till then," she replied.

Lu Lijun agreed and returned to the room. She went to another room to get ready, which meant she needed privacy. He went to the wardrobe and pulled out the clothes for himself.

After getting ready, Lu Lijun waited for Jiang Yuyan to come out as he didn't wish to hurry her or disturb her. Just then he heard the door of the next room opening and looked at the door of his room, only to see his beautiful woman walking in.

She nodded, looking back at him with her smiling and happy face, "I always had it with me. I could not wear it but could not keep it away from me."

Lu Lijun simply looked at that delicate pendant he had gifted her on the day of their tenth wedding anniversary and then looked back at her as he could not express in words how happy he was. He thought at that time she must have thrown it away despite him telling her to wait for the day till she accepted him but knowing that she always kept it with her was something he never expected.

"Won't you put it on me?"

He wordlessly nodded and held the ends of the chain in his fingers. He put it on her and adjusted it neatly.

"The other one?" he asked, as he observed the one she always wore which was gifted by Lu Qiang was not there.

"I put it away for today. I thought this day should mean only for both of us."

"As long as you are fine with it."

"I will wear both from tomorrow."

"Hmm," he agreed with a smile and offered her his hand, "Shall we?"

She nodded and both left for their date.
