Zong Wu: I Was Exposed As Soon As I Certified Earthly Celestial

Chapter 41 Four Refugees? Little Monk, I'm Getting Married

"Once upon a time there was an old monk who was always patronized by thieves..."

"So much so that he couldn't bear it anymore."

"One day, the thief came again, and he said to the thief, please put your hand through the crack in the door, and I will give you whatever you want."

...

"The thief was very happy to hear that, so he put his hand in through the crack of the door. Unexpectedly, the old monk grabbed his hand, tied it to a pillar, and then beat him hard with a stick."

"While beating back, shouting: Take refuge in the Buddha! Take refuge in the Dharma! Take refuge in the Sangha!"

"The thief was in great pain, so he had no choice but to shout: Take refuge in the Buddha! Take refuge in the Dharma! Take refuge in the Sangha!"

"Take refuge in Buddha!"

"Convert to the law!"

"Take refuge in a monk!"

...

A faint voice came from little monk's mouth, with a trace of tranquility and long...

Taking refuge in the Buddha, taking refuge in the Dharma, taking refuge in the Sangha...

Three refuges!

In fact, most people in Kyushu have heard the story of the "Three Refugees".

This is just a very short story about a thief who escaped into Buddhism because of the "Three Refuges".

At the end of the story, the thief worshiped the old monk as his teacher.

The reason is very simple...

Because, the thief suffered a meal of the "Three Refugees", and felt that Sakyamuni Buddha had great wisdom and compassion, and he must know that he would be caught, so he formulated the Three Refugees!

If one came to the "Six Refugees", wouldn't he be beaten to death?

So, after recovering from his injuries, the little thief planned to take the old monk as his teacher and study Dharma...

This time, it can be regarded as going the right way!

"Giggle..."

And when the little monk finished telling the story, the girl's silver bell-like laughter came slowly...

"This little thief is so stupid!"

After a long time, the girl laughed enough, looked at little monk, and commented solemnly,

"How did the Buddha know that he was beaten?"

"And the old monk was stolen, how can he support such a thief?"

"Hehe, this story is too fake!"

The girl was laughing, as if amazed all beings, and made Kyushu stunned!

"yes!"

And that little monk, rare, did not refute the girl, but nodded seriously, and said,

"This little thief is really stupid..."

Questioning Dharma?

In the past, no matter what stories were told in Buddhist scriptures, little monk would never deny...

But this time, he nodded.

"Hey, little monk, shall I tell you a story too?"

And when the little monk looked a little depressed and didn't know what to think, the girl suddenly took a step forward, her cheeks were slightly red, and said to him.

"kindness…"

Hearing this, little monk took a step back subconsciously, then nodded slightly, and said,

"Speak!"

For some reason, looking at the girl in front of him, Little Monk's heart, which was as calm as water, started to ripple slightly.

"I'll tell you a story about the Four Refugees..."

Looking at the little monk who lowered his head and said nothing, the girl smiled sweetly and said mischievously.

"Four... take refuge?"

Hearing this, little monk was taken aback for a moment, a trace of doubt flashed across his face, and he asked,

"Why, the Four Refugees?"

At this moment, little monk searched all the Buddhist scriptures in his mind, but none of them mentioned the "Four Refugees", so he couldn't help feeling a little lost.

"Listen to me!"

Seeing the little monk in a daze, the girl leaned forward and said softly,

"Once upon a time, there was an old monk who was always patronized by thieves..."

...

"One day, the thief came again, and he said to the thief, please put your hand through the crack in the door, and I will give you whatever you want."

...

"Isn't this the story of the Three Refugees?"

Listening to the girl's narration, little monk couldn't help being taken aback, couldn't help interrupting it, and asked.

Isn't this exactly the same as my previous Three Refuges?

"Hmph, don't interrupt me..."

Seeing a trace of doubt flashing in little monk's clear eyes, the girl snorted coldly and continued,

"The thief was very happy to hear that, so he put his hand in through the crack of the door. Unexpectedly, the old monk grabbed his hand, tied it to a pillar, and then beat him hard with a stick."

"While beating back, shouting: Take refuge in the Buddha! Take refuge in the law! Take refuge in the Sangha! Take refuge in..."

Having said that, the girl... suddenly stopped!

"Refuge to what?"

Seeing this, a trace of curiosity flashed in little monk's eyes, and he asked subconsciously.

Four refuges?

Taking refuge in the Buddha, taking refuge in the Dharma, taking refuge in the Sangha...

What else is there to take refuge in?

"Hand over here..."

Looking at little monk's blank gaze, the girl smiled, took his hand, and wrote stroke by stroke in his palm, reading while writing,

"Take refuge in the Buddha! Take refuge in the Dharma! Take refuge in the Sangha!"

"Take refuge... Miss Xiu..."

...

After finishing the words, the word 'show' was written on little monk's palm by the girl.

In the Buddhist temple, the little monk was stunned, a little sluggish!

Prajna voiceless sound is like the wind, passing around...

The sky seems to be quiet!

"Convert..."

He murmured subconsciously, wanting to say the 'four refuges', but in the end he just stood there in a daze, the corner of his mouth moved slightly, but he never said it.

"Say it! Take refuge... what?"

The girl looked at the dazed little monk, smiled, a trace of expectation flashed in her eyes, and said softly,

"Convert..."

"Take refuge in the Buddha, take refuge in the Dharma, take refuge in the Sangha, take refuge..."

...

"Amitabha!"

Facing the girl's gaze, little monk dodged subconsciously, clasped his hands together, recited a Buddhist scripture in his mouth, said it in a word, and fled in a hurry.

In the same place, only the girl was left, staring blankly at the back of little monk.

In the eyes, there is a faint line of tears, slowly shedding...

...

Since then, little monk has not seen Miss Xiu for a long time...

He, as usual, knocked on the wooden fish and chanted scriptures silently.

However, everyone could hear that there was no trace of charm in the sound of his chanting, it was just chanting mechanically, chanting...

In the distance, the little monk's Master, an old monk watched this scene, sighed slightly, but didn't say much.

In this way, a full three months have passed.

It can be seen that little monk has obviously lost too much weight, and is no longer as agile as before...

And at this moment, Miss Xiu... finally came!

little monk is very happy!

He hurried to the mountain gate to meet Miss Xiu, and even Muyu, whom he had always regarded as a treasure and never left his body, was thrown aside casually!

For the current little monk, there is nothing more important than meeting Miss Xiu!

Castle Peak Temple.

little monk, I saw a girl again...

However, before he had time to speak, he forced a smile at the girl in front of him, touched little monk's thin face, and said softly,

"little monk, I'm getting married!"

"In the future, I can no longer tell you stories..."

...

In a word, like a bolt from the blue, little monk was stunned in place immediately.

"Are you... going to marry...?"

"yes!"

"You... It's time to get married too!"

He muttered in a daze, as if he was talking to himself, or as if... his heart was silent...
