A day at Hogwarts

Chapter 339 Unexpected Visitor

"Dong dong dong!"

Someone knocked on the door of the room.

This was not the agreed signal. The young man guarding Charles jumped up from his chair, threw aside the magazine in his hand, drew his wand and pointed at the door.

"Collapse!"

Someone attacked through the window behind him, knocking him to the ground.

Charles calmly ate his chips, took a sip of Happy Water, and watched Sirius Black jump in through the window.

His hair was a mess, and the clothes he was wearing were stolen. His pants, shirt, and jacket didn't fit him well.

Black went over and took the young man's wand away, took one look at him and said, "Oh, he's grown so big."

Charles asked curiously: "Is he also from your Black family?"

"No." Black replied, "His name is Jacob Black. He comes from a werewolf family in the United States and has no blood relationship with our Black family. I once wanted to go to them to avoid Voldemort's tracking."

Charles nodded and said: "It's a good idea, but it's a pity..."

Back then, Black planned to pretend to be the Potter family's secret keeper. If he had gone to the United States at that time, he might have been able to hide it, but it was a pity that he was entrusted to someone else.

Blake pulled up a chair and sat down not far from Charles. He looked carefully and found that he was not nervous at all and just continued to eat breakfast.

"Aren't you afraid of me?" Blake asked curiously, "You should know who I am."

Charles said calmly: "You know, when the money owed is enough, the person who owes the money is the boss in front of the creditor."

Black was stunned for a moment and said: "No wonder Grindelwald asked me to come to you. It turns out that he gave you the money he borrowed."

This morning he was practicing catching mice in complicated weather conditions, when Grindelwald appeared.

Charles smiled and said to him: "To thank you for your help, I have reserved a special box for the Black family on the third floor of Dancing Grass Restaurant. You can use it with confidence and the fee will be deducted from the interest."

"Don't worry, there is currently no public owner of this box, and no one will know that you have been there."

"I imagine the food there is better than what the centaurs serve."

Blake's heart tightened. It seemed that he knew he would turn into a dog and was worried about snitching.

Only Grindelwald knows his current hiding place, and he will not tell the truth, but Charles is not sure.

"What is your relationship?" Black asked. He was curious about how a character like Grindelwald who appeared in Professor Binns' class was connected with Charles.

Charles thought for a while and replied: "They are considered friends."

He was now wondering how Grindelwald knew that he had been kidnapped. Could it be that Dumbledore informed the old man first after knowing about it.

From Charles' point of view, it didn't matter whether Black learned about this or how he found him. The key was what he was looking for and what Grindelwald or the old man was doing behind his back.

Black took out two boxes from his pocket and placed them next to the chips, and said solemnly: "Please give these two items to Dumbledore."

Charles glanced at the Horcrux and the fake Horcrux, picked up a tissue and covered it without taking another look.

Blake asked him: "Don't you ask what this is?"

Charles picked up the happy water and took a sip and said, "I just want to beat you up now."

Black sneered and said: "Don't think that you can get away with that debt by sending me back to Azkaban. It will be left as my legacy..."

"Harry Potter." Charles said for him, "That's not what I'm talking about. I want to beat you because you broke the Fat Lady's painting."

Blake looked frightened, shook his head and said, "I don't intend to comment on your personal life, but I still remind you that the Fat Lady is just an oil painting, not a real person."

Charles didn’t know what he was going to say at first, but when he understood it, he was so angry that the veins on his forehead stood up. This bastard thought he regarded the Fat Lady as his second-dimensional wife.

Before Charles could explain, there was a knock on the door, and Black immediately disapparated and ran away.

In less than a minute, Dumbledore and Lupine came down under the leadership of the kidnappers. It seemed that their negotiation went smoothly. The only one who was beaten was the young man named Jacob.

The victim's family didn't say anything. It would have been nice if Dumbledore personally came forward and did not pursue the matter.

Dumbledore was also relieved that Charles didn't kill anyone.

Lupine came over and asked Charles: "Are you hurt?"

He said as he took out a large piece of chocolate from his pocket and handed it over.

After taking the chocolate, Charles said: "No, they are quite friendly."

"Professor Dumbledore," he saw the principal coming, "someone has given you an early Christmas gift."

Dumbledore saw him pointing at something covered with a tissue. The Elder Wand in his hand moved only slightly, and a gust of wind gently blew the tissue away.

"Who sent it?" Dumbledore recognized the beautiful locket as a Horcrux at a glance.

Charles replied: "Ten thousand galleons."

"I don't have that much money..." Dumbledore was so familiar with this guy who only had money in his eyes that he thought he wanted to give him the money himself.

Lupine didn't think about giving money, and shouted separately: "Black?!"

"What's going on?" Blake, who was from the United States, thought he was calling them.

Dumbledore also realized that Charles was talking about the bounty on the wanted poster, so he said to them: "We are leaving. If you have any good news in the Himalayas, please write to me."

Seeing that he was about to go back, Charles said to the young man: "Jacob, it doesn't matter if that girl marries someone else, she will have a daughter in the future."

Everyone around them had black hair.

Dumbledore said thoughtfully to the American Blacks: "Charles has the gift of divination."

Charles twitched the corner of his mouth. He just wanted to take revenge. How could you lead him in this direction?

This incident was not worth mentioning to Charles. It was not until he received a wedding invitation from Jacob many years later that he remembered that such an incident had occurred.

"Just come back!" Professor McGonagall breathed a sigh of relief after seeing Charles in the foyer of the castle.

Rita Skeeter, who ran faster than Apparition, was already waiting here. She came over immediately and asked: "Mr. Smith, can I conduct a private interview with you about today's incident?"

The kidnapping of Hogwarts students is big news and one you must not miss.

Charles looked at his watch, winked at her and said, "I have to rush to class now. How about I write you a letter about what happened during my lunch break."

Skeeter saw the meaning of his color and agreed immediately.

Charles failed to return to class and was taken to the principal's office by Dumbledore, followed by Lupine, apparently wanting to hear about Black.

Professor McGonagall also wanted to follow, but Dumbledore smiled slyly and said to her: "Minerva, I have to ask you one thing, can you go to No. 3 Privet Drive and tell Jack that Charles is back safely? I think he is already worried. I’m going to start losing my hair.”
