German and Austrian troops

In just a few months, the situation in Ukraine and other places has undergone an astonishing reversal, and this time, countries around the world have truly felt the terror and powerful destructive power of Russia's ideological field.

When the changes took place in Russia, the world's attention was focused on World War I, but this time what is happening in Ukraine and other Eastern European regions is being put before the eyes of countries around the world.

September 11, 1921.

Berlin.

When the dramatic changes in Eastern Europe seemed to be out of control, Crown Prince Rudolf of the Austro-Hungarian Empire rushed to Germany to discuss response strategies with Kaiser Wilhelm II.

"The situation in Ukraine is extremely critical now. We cannot guarantee how many people are secretly colluding with the Russian Labor Party. The weapons and supplies we provided to Ukraine have not played the role they were supposed to."

"The Ukrainian government itself is a hopeless case. It is corrupt, embezzling, and doing all kinds of wrongdoings. It has lost the support of the people. It can be said that the riots that are happening all over Ukraine now are largely due to the unpopularity of the Ukrainian government. They have pushed more Ukrainians to the Russian Labor Party."

As soon as Rudolf met William II, he spoke to him angrily.

William II: "That is indeed the case, but we supported the Ukrainian government, which means we cannot just stand by and watch them perish."

"We are of course aware of the chaotic situation in the Ukrainian government, but isn't this exactly what we wanted to see in the first place?"

After all, Germany and Austria essentially want to control Ukraine by operating puppets.

For this purpose, the agents of the two countries who were supported are obviously not good people. After all, they can even sell out the interests of their own nation and country. In comparison, acts of corruption and bribery are considered light.

Rudolf said: "Having said that, we should also see that if the current Ukrainian government is not reformed, they will not be able to achieve stability in Ukraine at all."

"Therefore, we must intervene in the situation in Ukraine immediately to prevent the Russians from retaking the land they occupied during the Tsarist era."

"Russia is our real concern. If we take back Ukraine, Poland and the three Baltic countries, a country more terrifying than Tsarist Russia will emerge on the Eurasian continent."

"I don't know about other countries, but Russia will definitely become an enemy of our two countries, whether they are Tsarist Russia or today's Labor Russia."

Russia's expansion direction is always mainly in Europe, and now Russia actually borders Germany and Austria. Although there are countries such as Ukraine in between, these countries themselves are now the sphere of influence of Germany and Austria, at least from the perspective of Germany and Austria.

Germany and Austria have a lot of tangible interests in Eastern Europe, which inevitably binds them to Eastern European countries.

William II was naturally aware of this truth. He said: "It seems that the Slavs are not trustworthy now. If the situation is beyond our ability to bear, we should send troops directly to stabilize the situation in Eastern Europe when necessary."

Here, William II was naturally not saying that the loyalty of the puppet government he supported could not be trusted, but he was questioning their ability. Otherwise, they would not have been defeated by the Russian Labor Party.

However, Rudolf still thought that William II was a bit conservative. He said: "Now is the necessary moment, instead of waiting, we should send troops to Eastern Europe to help these newly independent countries stabilize their regimes and prevent Russian expansion."

"You know, the battle on the front line is basically over. If we don't send troops, it will be almost impossible to expect the current Ukrainian or Polish governments to continue to resist Russia."

"I know you must have some concerns after the World War, but if we lose our sphere of influence in Eastern Europe, it will only make our situation more difficult. After all, this is the most important spoils of our five-year war."

Germany and Austria had become timid because of World War I, and they did not want to go through another war with Russia, at least in the short term.

Rudolf went on to say: “We should at least keep western Ukraine, western Poland and other regions first, so we can send troops into these areas first, and we don’t have to go to war directly with Russia.”

"In this way, even if the Ukrainian and Polish armies are defeated on the front line, they will not be completely wiped out by Russia. We can continue to use them to consume Russia."

"But the prerequisite is to stabilize the confidence of the Ukrainian and Polish governments, so sending troops is a necessary measure to boost their awareness of fighting Russia."

Rudolf's words convinced William II to a certain extent. This once invincible man was eventually worn down by the world war and the poor situation in Germany after the war.

William II said: "Well, your plan is sound. We should at least help the Eastern European countries stabilize their rear areas first. In this way, they will be more confident in dealing with the Russians."

After all, Germany and Austria were still exhausted by the world war. If it was before World War I, the two countries would have sent troops to Ukraine, Poland and other regions without saying a word and directly declared war on Russia.

The current situation is that the war between Russia and Ukraine, Poland and other countries has been going on for nearly a month, and neither Germany nor Austria has taken any substantial action.

This time, Rudolf came to Berlin in person because he believed that if they continued to be timid, it would be very disadvantageous for both countries.

So after a new round of discussions between the two governments, in early October 1921, German and Austro-Hungarian troops crossed the border and entered Ukraine, Poland and other regions.

At this time, the Russian troops on the southern front had already reached the banks of the Dnieper River and controlled some strongholds on the west bank of the Dnieper River, such as the city of Yekaterinoslav.

On the northern front, Russia has completely occupied the eastern part of Belarus, but the Polish government's determination to resist is obviously higher than that of Ukraine.

Especially the Polish nationalists, who finally achieved the restoration of Poland through World War I. Although the final result was not very satisfactory, for example, a large amount of territory east of Warsaw was further annexed by Germany, it was still good to get Belarus as compensation.

Therefore, when faced with Russia's desire to re-annex Poland, although the Germans are not popular, they are also the best choice for the Poles today.

As the German and Austrian troops once again marched into Eastern Europe in large numbers, the Eastern European governments that were on the brink of collapse regained their confidence and continued to confront Russia.

For a time, Eastern Europe seemed to have returned to the First World War, with the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Germany and Russia once again competing on the vast plains of Eastern Europe.

The changes in Eastern Europe can be said to have affected other countries greatly, and East Africa, thousands of miles away, is no exception.

In the capital, Rhineland, East African officials held a heated discussion on what is happening in Eastern Europe today.

"Germany and Austria-Hungary were too slow. If they had intervened and made arrangements in Eastern Europe a few months ago, they would not have fallen into the embarrassing situation they are in now."

"Perhaps it's not that they did a bad job, but that Russia was beyond our expectations. In fact, the combat effectiveness of the Russian army is not much different from that of the Tsarist Russia, but the results on the battlefield are completely different."

"That's right. The weaponry and equipment level of the Russian army today is even worse than that of Tsarist Russia, and this is even more true in terms of the number of troops. It can even be said that the personnel of the Russian army today are not much different from those of the Tsarist Russia, but their performance is much better than that of the Tsarist Russia."

It is inevitable that the equipment level of the Russian army is now regressing compared to the Tsarist era.

After all, in the Tsarist era, Russia's territory was much more complete than it is now, so the industry was more complete. However, after the world war, Russia lost a large number of territories, which inevitably led to the loss of part of Russia's industry, especially in Ukraine. Now Russia has regained the industrial areas of Ukraine.

During the Russian Civil War, the former Russian aristocracy, capitalists and other reactionary forces destroyed a large number of Russian factories and machines in order to confront the Russian Labor Party. A large number of technicians and experts fled abroad, which further damaged Russian industry.

Even during the civil war, Russia's industrial losses exceeded those in the world war, especially the loss of important means of production and the flight of a large number of talents, which had a huge negative impact on the already weak Russian industrial system.

East Africa deserves credit for this. It received a large amount of advanced equipment and high-quality talents from Russia, and is considered one of the biggest beneficiaries of the collapse of Tsarist Russia.

Finally, the comprehensive blockade of Russia by imperialist countries also played a huge role, making it impossible for Russia to obtain some high-end equipment and parts that it had to rely on imports in the past. This obviously also hindered the development of Russian industry in the short term.

Of course, from a long-term perspective, because of the blockade, Russia must promote the localization of equipment and technology, which is conducive to improving Russia's own scientific research and technological level. Therefore, the international community's blockade of Russia has both advantages and disadvantages.

But no matter what, the current decline in the quality of Russia's military industry is definitely unavoidable, and this will obviously affect the combat effectiveness of the Russian troops on the front line.

In addition to the regression in weapons and equipment, the Russian army also faces personnel problems, especially the lack of professional officers. After the Russian Labor Party came to power, it inevitably carried out a purge of some personnel within the Russian army, which to a certain extent led to a decline in the combat effectiveness of the Russian army.

Therefore, the evaluation of Russia by East African officials is not prejudice, but the truth. However, it is such an army with declining combat effectiveness that performs well on the battlefield in Eastern Europe today, which is indeed worthy of attention.

"In my opinion, this may not be because the Russian army is too strong, but because the Ukrainian and Polish armies are too weak. The Ukrainian and Polish government forces themselves do not have the ability to fight Russia."

"The Ukrainian and Polish armies are also inherited from Tsarist Russia. There is a huge gap between their numbers, equipment, logistics, etc. and those of Russia. After all, Russia is the main successor of Tsarist Russia."

"In addition, the internal problems of the Ukrainian and Polish governments are also quite serious. Their level of national governance is the main reason, or even the root cause, for the current deterioration of the situation in Eastern Europe."

"Comparing Ukraine and Poland, the situation of the Ukrainian government is obviously more serious than that of Poland, which is why there have been endless popular movements and riots in Ukraine since the outbreak of the war."

"In comparison, the situation in Poland, especially in non-Belarusian areas, is much better, so the Polish people are more supportive of the government's confrontation with the Russian Labor Party."

This is actually because Poland's nationalist consciousness has matured, but this is not the case in Ukraine. There are a large number of Russians in Ukraine itself, and even many Ukrainians are pro-Russian. Only Ukrainians in western Ukraine are more resolute in their attitude towards dealing with Russia.

"However, with Germany and Austria personally involved, the situation in Eastern Europe should be stabilized, unless Russia wants to start another world war."

"I don't think so. The Russian Labor Party is a very radical political party organization. Who knows what they will do next! This war is like this. Russia can be said to have launched a war without declaring it, catching the Eastern European countries off guard."

"Moreover, looking at the series of decisions made by the Russian Labor Party after it came to power, they are also very unruly, so we may not be able to accurately predict Russia's next move."

Sometimes, not following the rules is not necessarily a bad thing. After all, not all rules are good. If we only knew how to follow the rules, human society would probably remain in the slave age and make no progress.

The Russian Labor Party’s style of doing things is indeed very bad in the eyes of imperialist countries, but for the poor people who make up the vast majority of the population in former Tsarist Russia, the Russian Labor Party is their savior. Otherwise, why would they support the Russian Labor Party?

Of course, some people say that the Russian Labor Party is deceiving the brainless Russian people. This conclusion is obviously not true, at least not completely true.

After all, the Russian people are not completely fools. The Tsarist government has made countless promises to the Russian people, but very few of them were actually fulfilled. Its credibility has declined, which is one of the important reasons for the collapse of Tsarist Russia. This is also a problem that almost any country in the world cannot avoid in its development.

Therefore, at this stage, the Russian Labor Party is an advanced political party that represents the voices and interests of the vast majority of Russian people. It is the Russian people who have pushed the Russian Labor Party to the forefront. As for what happens in the future, we will talk about it later.

"The Russian Labor Party's ability to infiltrate and incite is the main reason for the reversal of the situation in Eastern Europe. Most of the riots in Ukraine were organized by the Labor Party, and the Ukrainian government itself has poor governing ability, so the Russian Labor Party has a huge space for development in Ukraine, which has led to the overall deterioration of the situation."

"We should learn from what happened in Ukraine. Whether it is to prevent foreign forces from infiltrating our own public opinion and ideological fields, or to guard against Russia's ideological weapons within our sphere of influence, it has great reference value."

Today, East Africa is also one of the main countries fighting against Russia, especially after the northern part of Persia was incorporated into the East African sphere of influence, which means that East Africa has officially come into contact with the Russian Labor Party.

In modern times, Russia has long influenced the northern part of Persia. The Central Asian region adjacent to Persia is one of Russia's main expansion directions. Therefore, East Africa must also prevent what happened to Russia in Eastern Europe from happening again in the Middle East. After all, East Africa has now become one of the major players in the Middle East.
