The battle was intense, with both sides trading blows.

The Level 1 demons floating in the air, though large and slow, were mere targets for Iron Man.

But their defense was formidable, and they had no obvious weak points. Even when hit by penetrating attacks, they would only fall for a short time before rising again to join the battle.

Moreover, the huge cannons on the Level 1 demons were not only incredibly powerful, firing a continuous barrage of shells, but also numerous, which was a real headache.

What started as a small-scale duel had escalated into a war-like artillery exchange.

The constant explosions and roars shook almost all of New York.

Normally, S.H.I.E.L.D. would have sent a large force to seal off the entire Hell's Kitchen area.

But times were different. Hydra's actions had brought S.H.I.E.L.D. to a standstill, and they were too busy fighting among themselves to care about the lives of outsiders.

The people of New York were truly unlucky. Living in a metropolis meant not only a fast pace and high prices, but also constant life-threatening dangers.

First, there were alien invasions, then giant creatures rampaging through the city, and now over 20 large spheres had appeared, threatening to destroy the entire Hell's Kitchen.

Compared to the rampaging Level 1 demons, the Punisher's massacre of the mafia a while ago seemed insignificant.

In an underground room, the Punisher stared intently at the monitor, his face grave. The situation on the screen was beyond his imagination.

He even forgot to drink his beer.

He knew this world was strange, with gods and aliens.

But to him, these were just rumors. He never thought they would actually appear before his eyes one day.

He hesitated for a moment and gave up the idea of going to help.

This level of confrontation was beyond his ability to intervene.

"Damn it, don't these things have any weaknesses? Jarvis, give me the analysis report!"

Iron Man blasted another Level 1 demon, watching its heavy body crash to the ground. Before he could even breathe a sigh of relief, two or three more rows of demons rose into the air.

"Sir, we have not yet located the source of their energy. However, based on the analysis reports of the two collections we've made, we can confirm that this is a new type of virus."

Iron Man said angrily, "How dare they? They're releasing a virus in a busy area. It's insane!"

"Hulk, smash!"

The Hulk roared as he descended from the sky, smashing a demon to the ground. He grabbed the thick cannon barrels, tearing them apart as if a child were dismantling a large toy.

"Sir, the Iron Legion is arriving! Mark 37 is also coming along!"

"Great, they're finally here!"

Iron Man dodged the demon's attack and fired a repulsor blast, sending the Level 1 demon flying.

He slowly landed on the ground. Behind him, 12 machine warriors arrived one after another, forming a simple formation and launching attacks.

A red and blue armor quickly landed in front of Iron Man.

Iron Man quickly changed armor, specifically charging a high-powered energy cannon on his hand. One shot turned a Level 1 demon into pieces.

Iron Man cheered, "That's what I'm talking about!"

Wearing a brand new armor and wielding a convenient weapon, Iron Man unleashed his power.

The Level 1 demons in the sky instantly became real targets, blasted into pieces by each shot.

In the adjacent block, on the rooftop of a mobile building, the Millennium Earl chuckled softly.

"Kill! Kill! Only more intense slaughter can incubate true demons! But I didn't expect that high-purity energy cannons could actually kill demons. The laws of this new world are quite interesting."

"But that's what makes it fun. Without wanton slaughter, without intense confrontation, what's the point of destroying all of humanity?"

"Ho ho ho..."

The Millennium Earl laughed, took a step, turned into black smoke, and disappeared.

The Avengers duo slaughtered the demons in all directions, wiping out all the demons in the air in less than a minute.

The Hulk, still not satisfied, grabbed one and tore it to pieces.

"Hulk! Stand back! They have an unknown virus on them, which is very lethal!"

Jarvis had only said one word when Iron Man plummeted to the ground like a shooting star.

*Bang!*

The ground shattered, and dust billowed.

Half of Iron Man's body was stuck in the ground.

"Damn it! How did their speed suddenly increase so much?"

Enraged by the attack on his comrade, the Hulk dropped the wreckage in his hand and jumped into the air.

The demon deftly dodged, watching the Hulk brush past with a strange smile.

A layer of hazy purple light enveloped the demon, and its huge body twisted like dough.

It continuously expanded, shrank, twisted, and expanded again, repeatedly.

Its large volume shrunk at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Iron Man pulled out his head, and the monitor quickly locked onto the abnormality in the air.

"What... what's going on? Hulk, what did you do to it?"

Before he could finish, the Hulk roared and jumped back.

He said his body slammed heavily on the purple halo, but instead of knocking the demon down, it bounced him away.

It felt like rubber hitting a block of iron, with no effect at all.

The demon's twisting gradually stopped, and a huge egg formed within the halo.

Violent tremors accompanied a hoarse murmur as if awakening from a dream: "I... am... a demon!"

*Crack!*

A crack appeared on the shell, and an eerie head broke out, its eyes glowing red, and its dark pupils exuding endless greed and desire.

The eggshell turned into a purple halo and gradually dissipated, revealing a small, strangely shaped creature in front of the two.

"I am a demon! A brand new self derived from dark matter. Thank you for nurturing me!"

Its exaggerated shape, jagged fangs, and the obvious Roman numerals on its chest all indicated that it was completely different from before.

"It's leveled up!" The demon laughed wildly.

Iron Man said solemnly, "It can actually speak? A consciousness born from dark matter? What a strange demon! Hulk! Be vigilant!"

The Hulk roared and raised his huge fist.

"Heh heh heh! Vigilance? Completely unnecessary. It only takes a moment to kill you!"

The demon said arrogantly, "I am a Level 2 demon, a powerful existence!"

"Alright! Then try this!"

Iron Man fired a shot, hitting the demon squarely in the face.
