American Comics: BOSS Invasion
#531 - Uninhabited Planet
“Ah!”
Simmons screamed and was thrown directly out of the vortex in the ground.
Knowing something was wrong, she scrambled to her feet, wanting to go back into the vortex, but it had already disappeared.
Simmons, using the dim moonlight, frantically pawed at the ground, only grabbing handfuls of dirt.
The sky was dim, as if it were just before dawn.
She checked her phone in the faint light, only to find there was no signal.
This was a SHIELD-produced feature phone with an independent satellite positioning system, leaving no blind spots.
But judging from the surrounding environment, it was clearly not underwater or in Shandong; although there were no stars in the sky, she was obviously on the surface.
Her heart sank, and she had a bad feeling.
“Where am I?”
She briefly identified the direction, walked against the light, and climbed up the hillside along a relatively gentle slope.
Looking up, she was stunned.
“No! This is impossible!”
Appearing in the sky was a huge planet with satellites.
Seeing this, anyone would know this was not Earth.
She nervously hooked her hands together, stood there for a long time, then suddenly pulled out her phone and began recording her observations.
“This is Jemma Simmons.
We had an accident while researching the monolith information, but I now know that the monolith is actually a portal, a type of intermittent matter portal not documented in any literature.
It's amazing.
I've been transported to an unknown planet.
What's amazing is that there's also an atmosphere here, and the oxygen content is about the same as Earth's atmosphere.
The evidence is that so far, I haven't experienced any discomfort…
This star system should also have a sun, otherwise the temperature would definitely be below zero…
Gravity also seems to be slightly increased.
Twelve hours later, Simmons had gone from sitting to lying down.
“It seems this kind of matter is difficult to deal with.
That's right, we two studied it for more than a week and didn't find anything abnormal.
Maybe I should get some sleep.”
Twenty-five hours later, there was a sudden loud noise in the sky, and Simmons woke up with a start.
She suddenly realized that in the past day, the sun had never appeared.
The sky was always in a state of dim light.
It was like a carrot dangling in front of a donkey, seemingly within reach, but actually far away.
This was simply another kind of despair.
Fortunately, Simmons was not only a scientist but also an excellent SHIELD agent.
Her excellent brain could not only remember a huge number of rules and regulations but also various training tutorials.
She decided to continue waiting.
Thirty hours…
Forty hours…
Fifty hours…
Eighty hours…
Until eighty-four hours had passed, Simmons finally broke down.
She cried out to the planet in the sky, “Where's the sun?
Why hasn't it appeared yet?
What did you do to it?”
After venting her emotions on the top of the mountain, she felt dizzy from exhaustion and hunger.
She quickly lay on the ground, her head spinning for a while before she recovered.
After a while, she barely supported herself and whispered:
“An ordinary person can only live for three days without water.
A strictly trained agent can double that time with reasonable physical management.
No, I can't wait any longer.
I have to save myself…”
She turned her head to identify the direction and decided to walk upwards along the wind.
The air blowing from that direction was a bit humid, so there was likely water there!
She put her hands on the ground to stand up, took off her shirt, tore it into several large pieces, and carefully wrapped them around her palms, wrists, and forehead.
After dabbing a little saliva and wiping the corners of her eyes, Simmons felt much clearer.
“I still need to leave a mark.
With this, when Fitz and the others come to rescue me, they'll know which direction to go!”
She arranged a dozen or so pebbles on the ground into a large arrow and then walked away step by step along the arrow.
Coincidentally,
Qi Shan's situation wasn't good either.
He no longer had the optimistic attitude he had three days ago.
Establish a new religion?
Are you kidding me?
This broken planet is desolate.
There isn't even a dog, let alone a person.
After running for three days at the speed of a Kage-level ninja, the desert is still endless.
After being invincible in so many worlds, Qi Shan felt his insignificance for the first time.
Fortunately, this time the character card was Hidan.
This kid is immortal.
Although he's a little hungry from not eating, that's all.
It doesn't affect his physical strength or combat effectiveness at all.
Moreover, after being strengthened by a mysterious force, Hidan's unique chakra seemed to have a few special attributes.
It's just that Qi Shan doesn't know what it is yet.
For three days, the sun hasn't risen.
Time seems to be frozen.
Aside from the sweeping hurricanes and the occasional black sandstorms, there's no other scenery.
In this environment, Tomie can't be used either.
Besides, there isn't even a person, who am I going to preach to?
He simply let her remain in her hair state.
He tried black magic a few times, but it wasn't effective.
The reason why black magic has the word 'black' is that it's specifically for dealing with people.
So this thing can't be used either.
The Shadow Clone has been running around these past two days, sometimes turning into bats and scattering, sometimes turning into shadows and scanning the ground.
After three days, he hasn't gained anything.
Qi Shan was almost depressed.
The days passed like this, and the sun never rose.
Qi Shan was at odds with the desert.
He simply didn't think about anything and ran headfirst in one direction.
I don't believe that an immortal Kage-level ninja can't escape a desert.
The direction is located by the Shadow Clone, so it can't be wrong.
The terrain is meaningless to a ninja.
But after running for two weeks, Qi Shan was almost numb.
What kind of damn descent mission is this?
A planet without a single person, am I going to establish a new religion for ghosts?
Also, there are black sandstorms every day.
If you have the ability, give me a rain.
Even if I can't starve to death, it's hard to keep my mouth dry, okay?
Thinking of water, Qi Shan smacked his lips.
Suddenly stunned, he suddenly looked up at the Shadow Bat.
The Shadow Bat showed a smug smile like Gekko Moriah's and plunged down.
Qi Shan's figure flashed and disappeared from the spot, appearing directly next to a pool of water.
“A pool?”
Qi Shan widened his eyes, sniffing.
That's right, it was the smell of water.
Without thinking, he plunged into the pool.
Water splashed, and someone on the other side suddenly woke up.
Simmons quickly grabbed a large stone, staring intently at the water surface, her little tongue unconsciously licking her lips.
She was a little hungry!
