American Comics: BOSS Invasion

#532 - Pretending to be a different world

Smack!

Sizzle

A trickle of fresh blood flowed down his temple. Qishan looked at Simmons, who was holding a rock, with an expression that was one-third dazed and seven-tenths surprised.

After a long silence, he sighed at the sky at a 45-degree angle.

At times like these, Qishan missed the special constitution of his main body.

“No, no, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to. I thought you were a strange plant in the pool! Oh dear, you’re bleeding. Let me help you with that!”

Simmons frantically untied the scrap of cloth from his wrist, making to bandage Qishan.

Qishan raised his hand: “No need! Are you a native of this place? Can you tell me where this is? I’ve been running for days and seem to be lost!”

A hint of surprise flashed in Simmons’ eyes.

“Were you also teleported here? Was it through… a strange rock that can turn into liquid?”

Qishan feigned a touch of doubt: “Why do you say ‘also’? Could it be that you…”

“I was too! I was accidentally teleported over from a lab. It’s been almost 100 hours now.

I’m still waiting for rescue, and I believe my companions won’t give up. They must be working hard.”

Simmons first gave himself a pep talk, then asked, “Where were you teleported from?”

“The Rain Country!”

“Of course! The United States, China, Russia, England, and France!”

“What nonsense five great nations? It’s the Land of Fire, Land of Water, Land of Earth, Land of Sand, and Land of Lightning!”

After Qishan finished speaking, the two stared at each other, wide-eyed.

Simmons sized up Qishan’s attire from head to toe, while Qishan also carefully examined the other party.

The two sighed simultaneously: “No need to say more, you’re from another world!” x2

The two spoke and finished at the same time, then paused for a moment, glanced at each other, and smiled.

It was this smile that directly eased the somewhat guarded atmosphere between the two.

How could Qishan not recognize the familiar face before him!

In the main Marvel world, the special operations team of S.H.I.E.L.D. had already been incorporated into the Heavenly Eye Society several months ago.

Qishan had given them a great deal of autonomy, and they were flying all over the world in the spring.

Speaking of which, Coulson was quite the troublemaker. Even the big troubles within the world were suppressed by the artificial human squad Qishan sent out, leaving them gasping for breath.

Coulson could still create a small enemy every now and then.

He was like a mischievous child wandering in a dense forest, constantly eyeing the hornet’s nests on the trees. Even if it meant getting stung a few times, he would find a rock and smash the nest down.

Even though Qishan had sent Rukia Kuchiki to his squad, it still couldn’t change the habit of them being disheveled every time they performed a mission.

Fortunately, with the support of the Heavenly Eye Society, the work was progressing smoothly.

Before coming, Qishan had specifically learned a little about their situation. After all, Agent Coulson was Nick Fury’s confidant, and in the storyline, he had once been the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Even though he always kept a low profile, it was hard to ignore him.

Therefore, Qishan was sure that Simmons had always been at the Heavenly Eye Society headquarters, researching aliens in the lab.

So, the one who appeared before him must be from another timeline.

Judging from the nature of the descent mission, this was definitely a parallel space. So, this should be Jotunheim.

A few minutes later, the two sat cross-legged facing each other.

“You clearly don’t have any power, yet you’ve been able to survive in this barren land for so many days. Not only are you unharmed, but you’ve also found food to fill your stomach. That’s really not simple!”

Qishan shook his head and praised. Simmons smiled embarrassedly and handed over the roasted plant in his hand: “We appeared around the same time. I wonder if there’s any connection between them.

You’ve managed to escape from the continuous black sandstorms. You haven’t eaten anything for days, have you? Would you like some?”

“Thanks!” Qishan directly refused: “I’m a ninja, and I have special means of preserving my life. I can go without food for a month or two without any problems. Besides, it’s hard to say whether these strange plants are edible or not?”

“It’s alright! I’ve already had a meal of it before. Not only did I not experience any abnormalities, but I felt much more energetic. It should be a non-toxic, edible plant.”

Simmons was not polite. Seeing Qishan decline, he took the food back and took a few more bites.

His loneliness and hunger these days had been pushed to the limit. It wasn’t easy to meet a living person, so he naturally became talkative.

He was easygoing and didn’t care what Qishan said. Instead, he was very interested in the other world that Qishan spoke of, asking many questions about the other world before and after.

Qishan picked and chose, telling him some fragments of the Naruto world.

Although the words were not entirely true, it was undeniable that he was not lying.

Hidan was indeed from the Naruto world, but Qishan was not.

The two chatted casually, with some probing thoughts and some desire for companionship.

Simmons briefly introduced the situation in the Marvel world, focusing on the magic of technology. He also took out his phone to show Qishan.

He played the birthday video he had recorded before from beginning to end.

Qishan looked very surprised and took the opportunity to show off the power of the Shadow Master.

After the ability to shift shadows appeared, Simmons’ eyes lit up directly.

Simmons was very happy and took the opportunity to propose that the two cooperate to find a way back, promising that as long as he went back, he would definitely find a way to send Qishan back to his world.

“So, you’ve been walking along this direction for a day?”

“That’s right!”

Qishan remained noncommittal: “You’re very lucky. I ran blindly in the desert. I don’t know how many kilometers I’ve run. It’s almost impossible to go back and find the original location.”

“That’s what I was thinking. Since your shadow has no distance limit and can instantly swap positions,

why don’t we go back to the original location and wait? When we need water or food, I’ll trouble you to use your shadow ability.

My team is very strong. It won’t be long before they find me!”

Qishan nodded, and the two immediately set off to walk back.

Simmons was a little too optimistic. If he remembered correctly, he had stayed here for a full six months in the original timeline.

However, with Qishan’s movement speed and the ability of the Shadow Master, he was confident that he could get it done in half a month.

As for the poor astronaut Will?

Who was that? Didn’t know him!
