American Comics: BOSS Invasion

#662 - Rocket Launcher

The giant train was divided into upper and lower levels. The control room only occupied 1/4 of the space, leaving a large front car area in the rear half.

As soon as the door was pushed open, a gust of cold wind rushed in.

The left window had been broken at some point, and torrential rain was pouring into the carriage.

The surroundings were a mess, clearly indicating a recent disturbance.

Rebecca raised her hand to shield her eyes and quickly spotted a man sitting in a wheelchair.

She was pleasantly surprised and was about to step forward to ask him something.

Qi Shan opened fire without hesitation.

With a loud bang, the man instantly exploded into pieces.

Rebecca cried out, "What are you doing? You killed him?"

Qi Shan pointed to the ground: "Look carefully before you speak!"

Rebecca looked down and took two steps back in shock.

What lay spread out on the ground wasn't a mangled corpse, but a group of fist-sized leeches clustered together, writhing and squirming.

Bang! Bang!

Two more shots were fired, and the leeches were blown apart.

"Stay alert. Besides us, there are no other living people on this train."

As soon as he finished speaking, the train suddenly lurched and started moving again.

Qi Shan's expression darkened.

Rebecca snorted: "No living people, huh."

Just then, Billy pushed the door open and entered, "Who's driving?"

Rebecca said: "I don't know, but the train has started, which means there must be someone else ahead. We need to get into the driver's cabin."

"It'll be troublesome. This train is Umbrella Corporation property. The driver's cabin requires very high clearance. We don't have any electronic hacking tools. Finding the access card might mean searching the entire train," Billy said.

Qi Shan slowly loaded bullets: "No need for all that trouble. Watch me!"

He took out a small, exquisite bone hammer from his chest and gently tapped the back of each loaded bullet a few times.

He rotated the revolver, and with a click, it closed.

Immediately after, a gunshot rang out, and the security door sealing the driver's cabin looked as if it had been hit by a battering ram. The door panel caved in a semicircle and disappeared before their eyes with a whoosh.

A truncated scream and a loud crash came from inside.

The force was so great that even the moving train shuddered violently.

The two looked at Qi Shan's pistol in surprise, exchanged a meaningful glance at Qi Shan, and then walked into the driver's cabin.

Qi Shan shrugged, his face expressionless.

But he was also a little surprised inside.

Before transmigrating, Qi Shan hadn't brought anything with him.

This golden revolver was also created by using the stickiness of spider silk gold to roughly piece together a shape, and then upgraded with the small hammer.

On the surface, it was no different from an ordinary revolver, but in reality, this thing wasn't an ordinary gunpowder pistol, but an air compression gun.

The bullets were finger bones that Qi Shan had prepared in advance, coated with a layer of spider silk gold.

With the addition of chakra, the power of the gunshot was no less than that of an ordinary revolver.

Qi Shan had upgraded the bullets this time, but he hadn't expected the power to be a little too much!

"Holy shit!"

Even so, the train showed no signs of slowing down, but instead, it was charging forward as if it had taken stimulants.

Rebecca covered her mouth and quickly walked to the control panel, making a few simple adjustments: "It's no good, the train is severely overspeeding and is about to derail. We have to find a way to stop it!"

Billy shook his head: "It's impossible now. The entire control panel has been destroyed. The control system has an intelligent power-off program. To prevent a complete short circuit, it has already cut off the control area.

The only way now is to find the manual braking device in the rear carriages and abandon the front car!"

Rebecca was helpless and anxious. She turned her head to Qi Shan and said, "Look what you've done!"

"I wouldn't dare take credit!" Qi Shan waved his hand with a smile. "Don't look so miserable. This isn't difficult. Follow me!"

With that, Qi Shan turned and left.

At this moment, the walkie-talkie on the corpse that had been cut in half at the waist suddenly crackled with a call: "Fourth Combat Team, report your current situation!"

Rebecca picked up the walkie-talkie, pressed the communication button, and said directly: "This is Rebecca from the Special Police Force. Who are you people?"

"Special Police Force? How did you end up on the train?"

The other party was somewhat shocked, but their tone didn't change much.

Rebecca frowned: "Answer my question. What do you know?"

The walkie-talkie crackled, and the communication was cut off immediately.

The two walked out, and Qi Shan was already prepared.

"You... where did you get the rocket launcher?"

Seeing the big guy Qi Shan was carrying on his shoulder, Billy stuttered a little.

"Stop talking nonsense, move aside, move aside."

Qi Shan waved his hand impatiently, telling the two to stand behind him.

"You don't want to blow up the entire front car, do you?"

"Hold on tight and get ready for the impact!"

"No, wait a minute..."

Amidst Rebecca's shouts, Qi Shan pulled the trigger. The rocket warhead, several times larger than usual, ejected white smoke and drilled straight into the front car.

Rumble!

With a huge explosion, flames spewed out from the car door, and the shockwave instantly tore everything in its path to shreds.

The bodies of the three lurched violently, and then they heard the cracking sound of the front car breaking apart. Immediately after, the accelerating carriage directly lost power, and the speed dropped sharply.

On the other side, the train head suffered a huge impact, and its speed increased greatly.

It bounced on the tracks for a moment, and then, carrying the flames of half a carriage, it roared into the tunnel.

The three only vaguely saw a flash of fire rushing into the mountain in the darkness, followed by the roar of the train head derailing and crashing into the mountain.

The following carriages continued to decelerate, gliding forward along the rails, slowly turning past the fork in the road.

They slowly came to a stop in front of the smoke-filled tunnel.

Rebecca and Billy got up from the ground, both still in shock.

Qi Shan was unaffected and even had the leisure to look back at the expressions of the two. He suddenly revealed a wicked smile and pulled the trigger again with his backhand.

Chih! Bang!

"No!"

Amidst the simultaneous shouts of Billy and Rebecca, the second rocket flew out, and the tunnel exploded again.

A few minutes later, the dust settled. Billy got up and said, "Damn it! What are you doing?"

Rebecca said, "Where did you get your rocket launcher?"

Qi Shan ignored these questions, threw the rocket launcher aside, turned around, left a smile, and rushed into the tunnel first.
