Cardcaptor at Hogwarts

Chapter 27 A large wave of desserts is coming

This was not the first time that Adam was shocked by Eugene's keenness, but Adam was shocked by him again.

Adam asked disbelievingly:

"Is this just how you feel? Any clues?"

"No, it's just an...inexplicable feeling."

Eugene shook his head,

“I rarely have this happen, but it’s usually pretty accurate every time.”

That's so accurate!

Looking at his classmates who were lost in thought, Adam didn't know what to say for a moment. He couldn't tell them that there was Voldemort on the back of Professor Quirrell's head.

Fortunately, Eugene's guess was always just a guess, and everyone's attention returned to the court: the Slytherin team took advantage of Harry's loss of control to score goals wildly, and soon scored 40 points.

After all, Quidditch matches are won or lost based on points. Catching the Golden Snitch is just a sign of the end of the game. Therefore, even if the Golden Snitch has 150 points, if the score gap between the two teams is too great, it may still be impossible to come back.

"What a pity. It seems that Slytherin still wins this time."

Cedric sighed.

"Do you really want Gryffindor to win?"

Colon was a little curious.

"I don't want Gryffindor to win, but I want Slytherin to lose. Although I hate to say it, no house in the school wants to see Slytherin win the Quidditch Cup, or the House Cup - except Slytherin. Own."

Cedric looked around and made sure there was only Hufflepuff before he said:

"Their victory always makes this honor lose its original glory, and their arrogant look after victory makes people look like they were beaten. You will see it later."

"It seems like Slytherin wins more often than not."

Uther looked at the Slytherin captain who once again grabbed the Quaffle and planned to throw it.

"After all, the unscrupulous always get the advantage."

Cedric shrugged and turned around to leave. It seemed that he didn't intend to stay to watch Slytherin's victory.

At this moment, the sounds around him suddenly became chaotic - this was not the sound that should have occurred when Slytherin won - Cedric frowned and turned around, squeezing back to the edge of the guardrail and looking down:

Harry Potter was kneeling on the ground, but he held the Snitch in his raised hand.

Cedric was stunned for a moment and then looked at the scoreboard. The point difference between Gryffindor and Slytherin was far less than 150 points. In other words, Gryffindor won!

"What on earth did I miss?!"

On the way back to the castle, Cedric wore a mask of pain.

"Harry suddenly accelerated, probably discovered the Snitch, and then dived all the way to the ground - and finally he knelt on the ground and coughed, spitting out the Snitch, and that was it."

Colon read it back to him.

"Actually, we didn't see it clearly either."

Adam comforted him:

"It's quite complicated to say, but it happened in the blink of an eye. By the time we reacted, Harry was already holding the Snitch."

"Then at least you have seen it..."

Cedric sighed and looked at Adam:

"Can I have two pieces of pumpkin pie to heal my broken heart?"

"...Come to my dormitory later to get it."

Adam sighed, he shouldn't have sympathy for this guy.

"Hey, thanks~"

Cedric patted Adam on the back and ran away:

"I have classes in the afternoon, and I'll see you after dinner~"

The sudden situation on the Quidditch field seemed to be just a simple accident. Except for a few people, no one remembered it by the second Quidditch game.

Christmas is approaching in a blink of an eye, and Hogwarts is finally filled with a festive atmosphere once again.

"Aren't you all going home?"

Adam packed his luggage and looked at his roommates who looked like they had no intention of moving.

Uther shrugged his shoulders: "My home is in Egypt, and I can't afford to take a plane back during these few days of vacation."

Cologne sighed: "My parents went to the dragon farm to stock up on supplies. I'm going to be alone when I get back. It's better to stay in the dormitory."

Eugene was silent for a while: "I don't want to go back."

After hearing his reasons, the others wisely chose not to ask further questions, but looked at Bernard.

"I want to see how wizards spend Christmas."

Bernard's eyes shone, as if he was expecting something.

Adam had noticed before that this guy was very curious and very mobile. He had dared to brave the forbidden book area alone before. To be honest, Adam even suspected that he might have visited the room on the fourth floor.

"Well, since you're not going back, why don't I stay here for Christmas too."

Adam touched his chin and analyzed.

"No, no, no, don't think about us. If your family is still waiting for you to spend Christmas together, then go back. The four of us won't feel lonely together."

Cologne waved his hand grandly.

"In fact, our family doesn't actually celebrate Christmas, but the Chinese Spring Festival. Christmas is just a simple holiday for us. And if you think about it carefully, if you make a batch of gingerbread men, cane candies and the like for Christmas Desserts should be very popular.”

Adam's eyes lit up as he spoke:

“Maybe we can make a lot of money!”

Just as he said it, Adam picked up a quill and wrote a letter to his parents, and the letter from Adam's parents was also delivered in the early morning of the day before Christmas.

"It's done!"

Back in the dormitory, Adam put down the letter and the package that was sent with the letter:

"Not only did my parents agree, but they also sent me some food. It's so thoughtful!"

"What's in it?"

When the roommates heard that it was food, they were no longer sleepy. The few who wanted to take a nap immediately struggled to get out of the quilt.

There was no way. In this weather, even a body made of iron could not withstand the bed hit by a magnet!

"It's all kinds of sugars - maple syrup, maltose... and brown sugar and osmanthus honey."

Adam opened the package and lined up the boxes with different sweet aromas on the table. His eyes lit up when he saw the last one:

"And glutinous rice? Mom is so thoughtful! I remember that I brought red dates before. Why not make a snack? It's too soft? Or make it into eight-treasure rice. The bean paste I made last time hasn't been used up yet..."

"Slurp-gulp-"

The sound of swallowing saliva rang out in the dormitory. Although I couldn't understand it, I just ate what Adam made!

However, after swallowing his saliva, Cologne looked at the various but small amounts of ingredients in front of him with a worried look on his face:

"Although there are many varieties of these things, there is only a little of each... Is it really enough to sell?"

"Don't worry, these ingredients are enough. After all, I still have magic~"

Adam put the ingredients back together, and recipes appeared in his mind. His plan to promote Adam's store to the entire Hogwarts on Halloween was forced to be interrupted. This time, he must let the entire Hogwarts feel the power of the mysterious food from the East!
