Crown of Chaos

Complete remarks

Finally, after nearly two years of serialization, the book "Crown of Chaos" has come to an end.

I started writing the last chapter at 8:30 last night and continued until 7:00 the next morning. After typing the last word, the emperor felt relieved, sweating profusely, and suddenly felt lost.

When "The Poetry of Nogizaka" was killed, the emperor was angry, unwilling, and wanted to bite someone.

When "Warhammer Throne" ended, the emperor was satisfied, disappointed, and still unfinished.

"Lord of the End" When choosing the eunuch, the emperor was angry, angry, and frustrated.

But when "Crown of Chaos" ended, I was very calm, but I was sweating all over because of illness.

I know that this book is not written well enough, and I also know that there are big problems in the middle and later stages of "Crown of Chaos". From one chapter to hundreds or dozens of chapters, by the end, there are only three or five chapters in one chapter. Many book friends have left.

Who is to blame?

Blame me.

There are many problems with the book "Crown of Chaos". As a result, in the middle and late stages, I was completely unable to smooth out the entire plot and power system. It was very painful to write. In fact, everyone should also be able to see that there is still a lot of foreshadowing that has not been finished, and there are many plots. None of it was written down, and a lot of the content was just written off.

It’s not that I don’t want to write, it’s just that I really don’t have the energy to continue writing. Since I had Yang last year, my health has not been very good. I have been sick continuously this year, and my overall condition is very bad. In addition, the setting of this book There were problems to begin with, but ultimately it was visible to the naked eye that the quality and performance of this book continued to decline until it was completed.

So, when did "Crown of Chaos" start to fail?

I think it's the beginning of the Baldur's Gate volume.

This is also my fault. My earliest outline did not include Baldur's Gate content, but after playing Baldur's Gate 3, I really wanted to add this plot. "Baldur's Gate 3" made me sleepless and forgetful. The soul is out of control.

Larian! You have done all the bad things!

The result of forcibly adding Baldur's Gate is that the plot is stretched, and the result of forcibly adding a new volume of content is that the rhythm is messed up.

There is no space for the restoration of Myth Drannor, the return of the City of Shades, and the Arcane Catastrophe that I originally wanted to write about, and the meaningless content of Baldur's Gate has greatly diluted the previous foreshadowing, and the entire rhythm is out of whack.

At the end, there was supposed to be a decisive battle in Chaos, with Aaron and Archaon fighting on the top of Chaos... but my physiology and psychology no longer supported me to continue writing.

This is a lesson that must be learned.

Of course, the reason why the final book quality of "Chaos Crown" is much lower than that of "Warhammer Throne" are still two core points. The first is that the protagonist's character setting is difficult to write about chaos. Unlike Ryan, Aaron is chaotic and casual by nature. He has a clear goal but lacks a sufficient blueprint. This kind of character makes it awkward no matter how I write it. Ryan can bravely go up to duel with the Chaos Champion for the residents of a small town because he is a knight, but Aaron’s character is like this It would seem very unnatural if I wrote it. After writing for a long time, the character of Aaron gradually lost my emotional projection, and the writing process became boring.

There is no way, after all the emperor himself is an upright, patriotic, dedicated, democratic, diligent, harmonious and friendly person, so he forced me to write about chaos and disorder. I felt very awkward writing it, and the readers felt awkward too.

The character should be a reflection of the author's emotions, rather than forcing confrontation or awkwardness.

I like Dandan’s words very much, writing a book should have a sense of violence!

The second point is that in "Warhammer Throne" and "Lord of the End", I have written out all my ideas and interests in Western fantasy. I have devoted all my efforts to this theme in previous works. , by the time I get to the third Western fantasy book, I am already too lazy to describe the Western fantasy environment, background, and characters. If you are careful, you will be able to find that I will seriously describe the little characters and the people in the city on the Warhammer Throne. Rumors, social environment, to describe the details and settings of the war, but in this book, these are almost gone.

But I think many readers may just like this.

I just want to say that after writing this kind of thing once, twice and three times, I feel very tired when I write it again, very tired of the subject matter, and even more tired of similar plots.

This ultimately led to Crown of Chaos, which I was personally unsatisfied with.

In fact, I put a lot of effort into setting up this book at the beginning, and it felt very good at the beginning. The quality and setting were also great at the beginning, but in the end, it suddenly declined in the middle of the book. It was indeed because I didn't write it well.

My mistake, the emperor is here to apologize to everyone~

Next, I need to rest for a while, at least to take good care of my health first. I remember when Qiyue and I were still chatting in a group, and I despised him for forcing a single heroine to mock readers, and I typed out like crazy as if I had eaten gunpowder. As a result, I got the news again that we are separated forever. It is really sad to think about it now.

Finally, I originally wanted to write the content of Suren Shar in the main text, but it ended up being reviewed by me after just a little bit of trying. So I will release this part of the content as a reader welfare extra in the future. I will polish it carefully. Thank you. Please look forward to.

As for any questions about the plot, characters, future new books, and other questions, you can ask them here. I will post another Q\u0026A to answer your questions, and try my best to interpret your questions. If possible, I will post a discussion at a later date.

Sincerely
