Crown of Chaos

Belated Q\u0026A for the final version

Tianzi will answer some questions that I want to explain and others that you have asked.

Q: What are the plans and themes for the new book?

A: The content of the new book was actually conceived when the status of the old book was getting worse last year. The new book I am currently thinking about is a Tokyo-style novel with a little bit of weirdness and supernatural powers. You will know the details when the time comes. I have already thought about the characters and main plot of the six heroines. What I need to do now is to add enough details.

It is not so fast to start a new book. I need to rest for a while to recover my body.

By the way, let me reveal that the name of the protagonist is Uesugi Muneyuki, hehehehe (*^▽^*)~

Q: Why does Aaron's character feel so awkward?

A: Aaron's character problem still comes from my desire to write a completely different protagonist. Book friends who often write should understand that authors don't like to simply repeat themselves, so since I gave the protagonist an identity of the Chosen One of Chaos, it must be matched with a corresponding personality.

Unfortunately, this aspect is not well integrated. When I wrote that the protagonist was the Emperor's choice, it was smooth sailing. When I wrote that the protagonist was the Chaos God's choice, it was bumpy. Because I felt a little uncomfortable in the early stage, I advanced the Emperor's appearance in more than 100 chapters to further refine the character of the protagonist.

Now it seems that although this design cannot be called a failure, it has no effect on correcting the character of the protagonist. Aaron was wavering between the "Justice League" and the "Four Gods' Choice" throughout the story, which eventually led to the problem of more and more painful writing.

Q: If there was no temporary Baldur's Gate plot, what would the original plot be like?

A: Originally, if there was no plot of setting off for Baldur's Gate, Aaron would gradually begin the history of conquering the north after becoming the Lord of Sunset Territory, that is, the conquest of the Anauroch Desert would be more detailed and more abundant.

However, because of the temporary addition of the Baldur's Gate plot, the rhythm was completely messed up. But when I planned to continue writing this part of the plot after I finished writing the Baldur's Gate volume, I found that there was no space - Aaron's strength has surpassed Elminster, so this part of the plot is not necessary at all and it is meaningless.

Similarly, the return of Shade is meaningless. It was originally a sense of oppression like a mountain pressing down on the head. Now? You mention the Archmage, I want to laugh.

So, if there is no Baldur's Gate part, I will write it according to the Magic Web trilogy. In the end, it is the return of Shade and the full invasion of Chaos brought by the Arcane Plague. Cyric colluded with Archaon to bring the army of Chaos.

Q: Why is the plot about Reynald and Disma so anticlimactic?

A: On the surface, the characters of Reynard and Disma are inherited from the big boss and the second boss in Darkest Dungeon, but in fact, some readers have already seen that their real characters are actually the big brother "Gu Yuexuan" and the second brother "Jing Ji" in The Legend of Sword and Fairy. I spent a lot of time and effort on these two characters, but the effect of writing is not good. To put it bluntly, it is not quite right to put two martial arts characters into Western fantasy.

Of course, the main reason is that the plot of Baldur's Gate interrupted the continuation of these two characters, which I did not handle well.

I will never add plots on impulse again!

Q: The plot of Regent Princess Alice Sel is anticlimactic, and it seems that the character is not full enough?

A: The problem with Alice Sel is that she is the regent and cannot leave the kingdom, so most of the plots cannot bring her. When Aaron's status is low at the beginning, there are still many interactions between the two sides, but when Aaron grows up quickly, the status of both sides makes this kind of interaction very awkward, and Alice Sel's position actually conflicts with Aaron.

The appearances of the princess in the later period gradually became less and less, which is helpless.

Q: Will the next book still be about the silk stocking harem?

A: Of course, don't forget your original intention and keep your mission in mind.

Q: Why do you feel that your level has dropped so much? Whether it is fighting, war or plot?

A: This is true. I admit that first of all, my writing state is far worse than the Warhammer Throne period, but this is not the point. The point is that Warhammer itself is a super big patchwork monster with bad plots. It seems so natural to put anything into it during the writing process, but DND and Warhammer are stitched together differently. Coupled with the awkwardness of the protagonist's personality and the problems in the story plot, the content written is naturally not as good.

Secondly, the fighting in DND is difficult to write, and the war in DND is even more difficult to write. Warhammer at least has tabletop chess and Total War series to learn from, but DND... it's awkward no matter how you write it. It's not good if the individual strength is not strong, and it's not good if it's too strong. Especially in the middle and late stages, in fact, a high-level legend can wipe out an entire small country, so the only large-scale war that can really be written is the blood battle in the abyss.

Finally, I personally feel tired of this part of the content. When I wrote Warhammer, I felt that everything I wrote was very novel, and when I wrote DND, I felt that everything I wrote was boring. I wrote a beginning very seriously, but it seems that no matter which development follows, it is not so interesting.

Q: When will the extra chapter about Su Lun and Shar be released?

A: I will write it, I will write it. Do you think Brother Tianzi has deceived you?

Q: What kind of person will the protagonist of the new book be?

Answer: After Sid and Aaron, I found that I am still not good at writing those weird, chaotic and disordered protagonists, so the protagonist of the new book will return to the Lion mode - compared to the great and glorious messenger of order, all the chaotic evil will be created!

Q: Egil, Yuanchou, and Bjer were not promoted later?

A: Egil has actually been promoted, but it is not written explicitly. There is actually no difference between promoting Yuanchou and not promoting. As for Bjer... Recently, there is a lot of pressure from censorship and society.

Q: It feels that this book has been hastily finished without filling many holes.

A: That's right, but in fact, when Aaron was deified, the main storyline of this book was roughly over. The rest was the problems of Sulun and Shar. I insisted and barely finished it in the end. After that, I really couldn't write anymore, and my body didn't allow me to continue writing.

Q: Tianzi, you have already hastily finished two novels, give me some strength!

A: Hum~ Our all-Chinese team, TES, is invincible! Brother is great, no need to say more!

Q: Can the endings and stories of some characters be continued?

A: There may be an epilogue, or maybe not (laughs).

Q: Will you write Western fantasy and fan fiction in the future?

A: The next book is basically confirmed to be Tokyo-style. In fact, I started out writing Tokyo-style (Japanese entertainment), and everyone may have forgotten it. As for whether there will be a chance to touch Western fantasy and fan fiction in the future, I can't say for sure. I can only say that I will keep hope. If there is a subject I like, I will definitely continue to write, maybe.

Q: Can you reveal some settings about the new book?

A: This is a story about a hard-working forensic student intern at a medical university who gets some special abilities, and actively or passively destroys the entire Metropolitan Police Department and even the corrupt case-handling system of Japan, and pretends to be cool and collects beautiful daily life. Of course, there is a dark line behind the bright line. As the protagonist grows up, the dark line and the inner world will gradually surface.

The above is the final Q\u0026A for this issue. If you still have questions, you can continue to ask in this chapter. I will try my best to answer them. Thank you very much.
