Chapter 1846 Tathagata’s enlightenment
1862, Tathagata’s enlightenment
“Isn’t this the most correct way to open up faith?”
Tathagata had such an idea in his heart for a while, but soon he also realized that this was something that could only be met but not sought.
Buddhism is the best at utilizing faith in the ancient world.
The Buddhist Golden Body is one of them. They developed it by combining their faith with Buddhist satin body exercises. It is famous throughout the world, which shows its power.
One of the Buddhist saints, Zhunti, was one of the three corpses he beheaded. He practiced this method and could be valued by Zhunti. Even if he was said to be a 'sage', it was beyond the reach of countless techniques in the ancient world.
It’s no wonder that all the monks, monks and bodhisattvas in the prehistoric West Tianling Mountain followed suit.
Not even Tathagata could escape.
Buddhism is a collection of the power of faith, but any force must be huge. How many temples are there in the world? How many temples does Buddhism occupy?
This is almost an answer that can be known without statistics. Although they cannot say that they can't live without the believers, but if they really leave, it is still unknown whether Buddhism can gather the "Eight Hundred Arhats".
The "Eight Hundred Arhats" are not just the eight hundred Arhats in Buddhism, but among the countless Arhats in Buddhism, there are 800 top-notch Arhats.
In the Lich Period, when the demon clan ruled the heaven, were there such numbers?
From this we can also see how prosperous Buddhism was in the ancient times.
How much 'power of faith' there is here is unknown to outsiders, but as long as a monk with a higher vision can't see the dependence of Buddhism on faith?
Was the Journey to the West really just for the purpose of spreading the Tripitaka to the Eastern Lands?
How is that possible?
Before the Tripitaka was spread eastward, didn't the Eastern Tang Dynasty already have the concept of Buddhism? Didn't there already be many Buddhist temples? Didn't they also know Tathagata and Guanyin?
But even so, Buddhism is still too little, and they want more. Isn't it just to gather more power of faith?
The power of the orthodox faith of the human race is as strong as ten.
No wonder Buddhism is willing to pay a lot of price for this.
The Tathagata does not believe that Liu Hao has not studied the Buddhist Golden Body, a technique known to countless Buddhist practitioners.
But even so, they didn't let 'Yan Ling Ji' practice this way at all.
"Do you really look down on me?"
Such an idea suddenly appeared in Tathagata's mind, and soon, he could only smile bitterly, it seemed that this was really the case!
Others might not be able to see the strangeness in Yan Lingji, so how could he, Tathagata, not see it?
Even if the bloodline of the Witch Clan still seems a little thin, it is still the Witch Clan.
Which ethnic group can compete with the prehistoric witch tribe in wielding the magic of satin body?
He was so strong-willed that he dared to collide with Mount Buzhou without falling. In the entire prehistoric period, except for the Wu clan, every one of them must be timid.
He no longer needed to ask the obsessed Liu Hao whether his guess was true. It was difficult for others to have a relationship with Queen Houtu, the master of the prehistoric tunnel, but among these people, Liu Hao would never be included.
With such huge advantages, who would turn a blind eye?
He also knew that Empress Houtu secretly moved some of the shaman population from the ancient world to the heavens. This news would not be hidden by the Buddhist saints from Tathagata, the Buddha of the Buddhist sect.
In this case, wouldn't it be logical for Queen Houtu to accept the Wu clan from outside the prehistoric times? What's more, she still has a relationship with Liu Hao, do I still need to ask?
Tathagata put down his thoughts and had the answer in his mind, but his thoughts on observing Yan Lingji went to a higher level.
He has forgotten why he came here. He has seen better things, and those messy things are naturally no longer important.
He observed Yan Lingji carefully and found that this beautiful female monk seemed to be willing to accept any path of cultivation.
She can't compare to the peak of the Golden Immortal, but no matter whether it is the Taoist path or the Buddhist method, it seems that she has not fallen a bit behind. In addition, her own bloodline witch clan path shows the 'magic' of who knows which world, and the vaguely visible Baidu.
Home.
Even Tathagata had to admit this kind of talent, but the more so, the more he wanted to introduce Yan Lingji into Buddhism.
In the past, he would have spoken out or even taken action, but now, he still suppressed the 'greed' in his heart.
It's not just because he knows that he can't defeat Liu Hao, who is obsessed with Liu Hao, but because he has other understandings of 'fate'.
This is not just talk.
He gave numerous lectures on Buddhist sutras in Third Brother's territory, which led to the number of Third Brother who converted to Buddhism after hearing his Buddhist scriptures.
But among them, there are always those who insist on their past path. Even if they practice Buddhism, it is only as a supplementary path.
In the past, these people seemed to be rebellious and evil people in the eyes of the Tathagata. Now, hasn't he chosen to tolerate it and let it go?
In his opinion, this means that the "fate" between these people and Buddhism only ends here.
He originally thought that he was already the prehistoric Tathagata who must take good things into his home when he sees them.
But today, he realized that he had not truly reached this state at all, just because he did not see such a bright gem.
The more he observed, the more "greedy" he became. He had to chant the Buddha's name in his heart to suppress this increasingly "greedy" thought.
How could he not see that even though Yan Lingji's method of transforming the power of faith into brilliance to save the soldiers was magic, Buddhist methods could also be vaguely seen in it.
It was easy for him to see that Yan Lingji's Buddhist methods were simply derived from her own understanding, which could be described as immature and extraordinary.
He was a little strange, so he turned to look at Obsession Liu Hao, as if he wanted an explanation. He didn't think Obsession Liu Hao would be 'stingy' about this.
"What I teach Yan Lingji is the Tao. These many methods are all understood by her herself!"
Obsessive Liu Hao gave an explanation indifferently and stopped talking, but a hint of surprise flashed across Tathagata's face.
Looking back at Yan Lingji, she originally felt childish in her heart, but now she felt completely different.
It seems that apart from the immaturity, everything has become an advantage.
For example, the Buddhist methods implicit in it are so simple, even if they are integrated into the magic skills, they will not have any impact at all, as if they should be like this, that is, there is no 'stuck' in the original light magic skills.
On the contrary, it enhances the healing power of the radiance of faith.
In other words, apart from being immature, Yan Lingji’s own methods of enlightenment are truly her own.
The immaturity can be improved in the future due to the improvement of cultivation and realm. This is the true 'dharma' that belongs to Yan Lingji.
This is the way Liu Hao teaches his disciples.
He seldom, if ever, teaches those so-called ‘how to do it’, but teaches them ‘where the way is’.
Tell them that there are countless roads ahead, point out some of them, and lead them to walk a certain distance on these roads, that's all.
He will not require them to walk these roads just because he has led them through them.
He will not clear up the so-called bumps for them in the process of leading them on their journey, but will let them solve it on their own.
In this process, the disciples may have become a little slower because of this, but this experience, this experience in the ups and downs, is the most valuable in his opinion.
Just like when he led Yan Lingji and three others to walk in the heavens, how could it be possible that they didn't encounter any 'danger'?
In the eyes of obsessed Liu Hao, these dangers are no different from those of a playboy, but in the eyes of Yan Lingji and others, they are really a life and death crisis.
In the face of these crises, haven't they passed them one by one?
Obsessing with Liu Hao behind them only provides them with a guarantee. Possible deaths will naturally disappear because of his presence, but there is no lack of trauma in them. This is the experience they really need.
During this experience process, the method they summarized is the method that is most suitable for them.
These methods are very immature in the eyes of the Tathagata, but in the eyes of people of the same level, they are truly "inventions and creations" and cannot be accomplished without a true genius.
Although these methods of theirs cannot be said to have established a sect, they are still universally inherited.
Just like Yan Lingji in front of her, didn't the treatment methods and methods she summarized passed on to the twelve golden hairpins she carried? And then passed them on to the women's medical corps of the Han Empire?
She is already the ancestor in the eyes and hearts of all future medical practitioners in the Han Empire. As long as ten or eight years pass, her status in Liu Bang's Han Empire will never be cleared even if a saint comes in the future.
She could have been called one of the three giants of Liu Bang's Han Empire, and with her recent actions, this status will be consolidated as never before.
Only after careful observation did Tathagata discover this essence.
Another Buddha's name arose in the Tathagata's heart, making him even feel a little shy.
Why didn't he understand that his previous understanding was a bit condescending, thinking that monks with low cultivation levels could only be used as tools in the hands of high-level monks to earn some of the wages that workers should earn.
With the appearance of Yan Lingji, he finally woke up from the thought of being a superior boss, and realized that it was not those monks with low cultivation who could not start a business or be a boss.
Perhaps the profits these small bosses earn in a lifetime are, in his opinion, just the money he spends in one day, but so what?
In his opinion, the meager amount of money they earn may not be as much as that of some high-level workers, such as gold-collar workers, but everything is under their own control, and no one can take it away from them, not even Tathagata.
.
In turn, the Tathagata has truly understood the real illness of Buddhism in the ancient world. In the modern mortal world, it is the "big company disease".
This kind of illness cannot be changed even if the Tathagata understands it for a while.
If you make a big move, it is likely to cause chaos in the entire Buddhist sect. If you make a small move, the result will only be that no one cares about it. From beginning to end, maybe only one document will be delivered.
After much deliberation, it seems that the only way is to release some of these truly "understanding people" from Buddhism and let them start their own businesses, away from their original comfortable environment, that is, to enter the heavens.
Fortunately, there are still many such "understanding people", so it can be considered that they are the right ones.
He finally remembered 'Manjushri Samantabhadra, Avalokitesvara and Tang Sanzang'. It was not that he had not thought of it before, but that he had thought of it before and did not pay any attention to it at all.
He found that he was paying attention now, and it seemed that it was not the best time to contact him.
Who knows what these people will think when they come to visit them?
Do you think that you are here just to take over the ‘company’ they have finally built?
If this is really the case, it is harming others and harming yourself.
Do they even think that they are just here to pick fruits?
He smiled bitterly in his heart, and at the same time he was glad that he didn't act rashly.
Fortunately, he quickly adjusted his mind. After calming down again, the way he looked at Yan Lingji was completely different. The original 'greed' in his heart no longer needed to be suppressed.
This is because he has understood that if he takes the current Yan Lingji with him to practice Buddhism, he will actually harm Yan Lingji, a real genius, and giving him step-by-step instructions will only limit his true wisdom.
Liu Hao, who was obsessed with him, was keenly aware of the change in his aura, but only a smile flashed across his face.
Obsession Liu Hao’s views on Buddhism are definitely complicated.
For example, he is basically bored with Buddhism, as if his world view is naturally very conflicting, and he will never take the initiative to get involved in things like communication.
But he must also admit that Buddhism and Taoism are already a part of the Yanhuang civilization and have been integrated into the Yanhuang civilization system for a long time, and it is impossible to eliminate it.
When Manjusri Samantabhadra stepped into the heavens and entered Liu Hao's earth, he was wary in his heart, fearing that the other party would bring the prehistoric Buddhist way of doing things into his own Dragon Kingdom.
Fortunately, it didn't happen when he was worried. At that time, he still underestimated his influence on his own earth and his own Dragon Kingdom.
He was worried, how could Manjushri and Samantabhadra not be worried?
Compared to him, Manjushri Samantabhadra is the real outsider who comes to spread Buddhism in his territory. How can he not be cautious? How can he not care about Liu Hao's emotions?
They had received Liu Hao's permission, and they were already very happy. They couldn't be too careful. How could they not understand the Buddhist methods of doing things in the prehistoric times, which would be annoying?
In the prehistoric times, they did what they did and Tathagata helped them withstand it. Tathagata couldn't bear it anymore, and there were two Buddhist saints to guide Zhunti. In Liu Hao's earth, Liu Hao was really angry, and it would only spread countless anger.
When venting over their heads, one has to be careful.
After Manjusri Samantabhadra did this, he also found that this seemed to be good. In fact, if he could not make others dislike him and still complete his mission, who would be happy to play the role of the "bad guy"?
As time went by, they gradually figured out Liu Hao's bottom line, and they also had a lot of tacit understanding with each other. Isn't it full of achievements now?
