Dragon and Tiger Taoist

Chapter 1941: Becoming a Buddha on the Spot

In the Western Wasteland, the Great Leiyin Temple, the Ten Arhats, and the Five Bodhisattvas all gathered here, the Buddha's light shone everywhere, evolving the Pure Land on Earth. As the contemporary Buddha of Buddhism, Yishi sat on the main seat. They all paid attention to the Merit Pool in the center of the hall, which reflected the traces of Bai Chan and his group.

"After ninety-nine and eighty-one difficulties, Bai Chan finally completed his merits."

"The fate of the Demon Sect has been defeated, and our Buddhism will flourish."

Seeing that Bai Chan and others had survived the last disaster, many Arhats and Bodhisattvas in the hall smiled. Today, the Buddhist journey to the west has finally settled. The next step is the aftermath. When everything is perfect and the fate is evolved, all of them will benefit.

"Amitabha, good, good, now that the catastrophe is over, please open the door of convenience, lead the Buddha back, spread our Mahayana Buddhism, and save the world from suffering."

Calling the Buddha's name, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva cast his eyes on Yishi. The journey to the west has been planned for a long time by the Buddhist sect and has invested a lot of resources. Now it is time to reap the harvest. Once Bai Chan, as a Buddha's son, returns, the Buddhist sect will begin to truly smelt the luck that originally belonged to the demon sect. From then on, the Buddha will rise and the demon will disappear.

Hearing this, Yishi nodded.

"It should be so!"

As soon as the words fell, the void twisted, and the invisible passage quietly took shape.

Not long after, Bai Chan, Liushazi, Shihou, Song Zhong, and Longma came to the outside of the Great Leiyin Temple. Following the guidance in the dark, they stepped into this first Buddhist temple. At this moment, the luck between heaven and earth began to change dramatically, attracting the attention of many immortals and gods, and Bai Chan and others also underwent some kind of transformation.

"Luck?"

Song Zhong raised his eyebrows slightly, feeling something in his heart. He benefited a lot from this trip to the west. With the help of the white bone relic, he has truly realized the heart of the diamond. However, compared with him, Bai Chan, as a Buddhist, has gained the most from this trip.

With luck, Bai Chan suddenly stopped when he saw the sacred Leiyin main hall in front of him.

"What is Buddha?"

As soon as the thought came up, all kinds of Buddhist principles came to him. Bai Chan sat on the ground and fell into enlightenment.

Seeing this scene, not only the stone monkeys and other beings who were traveling with him were shocked and suspicious, but even the many arhats and bodhisattvas in the hall were full of surprises. This was somewhat different from their original expectations.

"He has actually attained enlightenment? But I don't know what he has attained."

"It seems that this Buddhist disciple is really extraordinary. He is born with Buddha nature and has good luck. He may soon be able to achieve the fruit of Bodhisattva."

Looking carefully at Bai Chan who had attained enlightenment, many Arhats and Bodhisattvas talked about it. Although they knew a little about Bai Chan, this Buddhist disciple, it was not much. Now that they saw him, they found that he was indeed extraordinary and might really become a Buddha in the future.

And on the main seat, looking at Bai Chan who had attained enlightenment, Yishi frowned slightly. He vaguely realized that Bai Chan's enlightenment this time was not simple.

"Is he really the fruit holder chosen by the Buddha? In the past or in the future?"

Thoughts arise and disappear, Yishi tries to calculate, but does not gain much.

"It seems that the matter of imparting the Dharma will have to wait a little longer."

The thought fell, Yishi did not interrupt Bai Chan's perception, and waited silently.

According to the original plan, the Buddhist sect will teach Bai Chan the real Buddhist scriptures, and then grant them the status of Buddhist Bodhisattvas, and bless them with Buddhist luck. When they return with the Buddhist scriptures, they will promote Buddhism in the northern wilderness, and their cultivation will naturally improve. Even Bai Chan, a mortal, will truly reach the realm of Bodhisattva in a very short time, and the future will be bright.

Time passed, and it was unknown how long it had been. Bai Chan realized the truth of heaven and earth, but he was still not awake.

Boom, thunder exploded, dark clouds gathered, and it suddenly rained in the sky. At first, it was like cow hair, but it became heavier and heavier, and there was a strong wind, as if it was going to hit Bai Chan's thin figure.

Seeing this scene, all the high-ranking Buddhists in the hall were stunned. You know, this is Leiyin Temple. Unless the Buddha has a mind, ordinary wind and rain will never reach here.

Thinking of this, many people couldn't help but cast their eyes on Yishi, but Yishi didn't care about these eyes. He looked at the world, and there was also a bit of surprise between his eyebrows.

"Heaven and earth are in sympathy, but I don't know what this Buddhist child has realized, but he has caused the heaven and earth to have a calamity, and wants to interrupt his perception."

The voice was ethereal, and when everyone was in doubt, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva spoke, his eyes fell on Bai Chan, his expression was a little solemn, those who have realized the truth are often favored by heaven, and this kind of calamity is not common. He wanted to help Bai Chan, but in the end he did nothing. Although he could block the wind and rain for Bai Chan, it would also ruin his chance.

And just when the wind and rain were raging, a mysterious breath quietly spread from Bai Chan's body. It was at this time that a tree seed took root behind it. It broke out of the ground, faced the wind, and turned into a big tree in a blink of an eye. It used itself as an umbrella to protect Bai Chan from wind and rain.

"Bodhi tree."

Looking at this big tree that came out of nothing, everyone became more and more suspicious. This Bodhi tree has a great symbolic meaning in Buddhism.

Phew, with the Bodhi tree as a shelter, Bai Chan's enlightenment continued, but not long after, a poisonous snake suddenly approached Bai Chan from nowhere.

The Bodhi tree is a dead object, it can shelter from the wind and rain, but it can't stop this poisonous snake. It is a different species and extremely poisonous. If it is bitten, Bai Chan, a mortal, will definitely die.

Seeing this, many Buddhist masters were worried. Success was just around the corner, and Buddhist disciples could not afford to get into trouble at this time. However, looking at the Buddha who remained motionless, they did nothing after all.

The golden roc spread its wings. When the venomous snake opened its mouth and was about to bite the white cicada, a golden roc emerged from the branches of the bodhi tree. It swooped down and easily caught the venomous snake, brought it back to the tree, and ate it, showing its handsomeness and power.

"Golden-winged roc, I never thought it was such a strange species."

The eyes of the dharma were like torches, and everyone recognized the footsteps of the golden roc. However, before everyone could breathe a sigh of relief, a ground dragon suddenly turned over and wanted to overturn the white cicada. In this case, neither the bodhi tree nor the golden roc could stop it.

Seeing this scene, everyone frowned, and at this moment, a six-tusked white jade elephant appeared and suppressed the earthquake with its own power.

With the triple protection of the Bodhi tree, the golden roc, and the six-tusked white jade elephant, Bai Chan finally got a moment of peace and went further in enlightenment. However, at some point, his life fire began to weaken, and his body began to turn jade, as if it was about to turn into a piece of jade.

"Not good, he has too deep enlightenment, and he is stained by the rhyme of the Tao, but his mortal body can't bear it."

Seeing something, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's expression changed drastically. At this time, Bai Chan had entered the Tao deeply, but he couldn't be called back.

"It's really a heavy calamity."

With complicated thoughts, Samantabhadra had no good solution for a while, so he could only look at Yishi, but Yishi remained motionless. It was at this time that a golden cicada appeared on Bai Chan's shoulder, and it screamed loudly, matching Bai Chan's breath.

With the guidance of the golden cicada, Bai Chan quietly broke through the confusion in his heart.

"The Buddha is in the heart, all spirits can be Buddhas, and everyone is his own Buddha!"

After realizing the fundamental truth, Bai Chan's shaky life fire suddenly ignited, and his aura began to rise wildly.

On this day, Buddhist chanting continued for seven days in Leiyin Temple, and the light of the life star fell, evolving various strange phenomena. On this day, Bai Chan realized the truth under the Bodhi tree. Once he was enlightened, he integrated the accumulation of hundreds of lifetimes, cast a golden body, and became a Buddha on the spot.
