From Beauxbatons to Hogwarts
Chapter 21 The Moody Ghost
Returning to the common room, Harry and Ron found that the Weasley twins, who had been quiet for the past few days, became active again.
"ladies and gentlemen!"
"Welcome to the first product launch of Weasley's Trick Workshop."
George and Fred stood on a platform formed by four tables, loudly announcing the return of the prankster duo.
"So what new stuff did you bring?" Ron saw a black wizard with dreadlocks asking seriously in the audience.
Ron recognized that it was George and Fred's roommate, Lee Jordan. Needless to say, he was dragged over by those two people as a support.
"Good question!"
"It's a pity that I'm not a professor at the school so I can't give you extra points."
"Please look at this."
George held up a crystal ball with his hand.
"This is no ordinary crystal ball, this is a recording ball."
"It can record the sound you want to leave behind."
"But there are so many tape balls in Diagon Alley, why should I buy yours?" Lee Jordan fully played the role he was supposed to play.
"Of course, there is a huge gap between the recording balls produced by Weasley and the recording balls in the world."
"We used the most powerful memory core we know, and the capacity of this recording ball reaches three hundred novels."
"In other words, this recording ball can record two hundred of Professor Binns' boring history of magic lessons."
"Think about it, you can skip the lectures for a semester and just use the recording ball to record. You can just listen to it with the recording ball before the final exam."
"Finally, we added a sleep function to this recording ball..."
The students in the entire lounge crowded around George and Fred, listening to them show off their first formal alchemy work. Only Hermione was hiding in the corner, reading a thick book alone. Even her roommate
Patil and Lavender walked past Hermione without saying hello.
Ron said to Harry uncomfortably: "Harry, tell me, Hermione doesn't have a single friend."
Harry nodded: "Based on her character, I think so." Harry took out the double-sided mirror given by Calvin from his pocket: "I think Hermione should also look in this mirror, so that she will understand her problem.
Where is it?" Ron nodded noncommittally.
Harry looked at the double-way mirror, but never dared to look at the back, and then raised his head to look at the Weasley twins in the distance. Percy came out of the dormitory, took away the twins who had caused the commotion, and drove away the crowd.
"Ron, I suddenly want to learn alchemy." Harry put away the double-sided mirror again.
"Then you go find Professor Capet. I think he is a good person." Ron said carelessly.
Harry hesitated for a while and expressed his worries: "But every time Professor Capet sees me, it's strange. He seems to be staring at my... eyes."
"What's the point?" Ron didn't care. "Maybe your eyes look like one of his friends. My family often says that my eyes look like Aunt Muriel's."
Harry decided not to have rash contact with Professor Capet.
…
Calvin came to the Astronomy Tower alone, and soon he found his old friend.
"After all these years, I'm still looking there." Calvin stood by the window and followed Bloody Barro's line of sight into the distance. This was his old friend, who was over a thousand years old.
In the first grade, Barrow was one of the few Slytherin creatures willing to talk to Calvin. He was a student of Salazar Slytherin, one of the Big Four, and knew a lot of magical knowledge and secrets that others could not access.
History. Calvin learned Occlumency, Legilimency and some potion-making techniques from him.
Barrow's dull eyes regained their brilliance, and the moonlight shone on the silver-white bloodstains all over his body, making him look like a real person.
"Ah, Calvin." Barrow greeted in a hoarse voice, "We haven't seen each other for, um, how many years. Sorry, I've been around for too long and am very insensitive to time."
"Thirteen years."
"Well, it turns out it's been thirteen years since you left. You know, I have to look there, that's the meaning of my existence." Barrow responded to Calvin in a hollow voice.
"Slytherins are really alike. You are not the first Slytherin I have met who is so infatuated."
Barrow didn't want to be entangled with Calvin anymore: "You come to me for anything, I already taught you everything thirteen years ago."
"I'm here to ask about something. Do you know about the Room of Requirement?" Calvin asked sincerely.
Who knew that Barrow was silent for a while, neither saying he knew nor saying he didn't know, but instead gave Calvin an unexpected answer: "Calvin, did you do it on purpose?"
"What?" Calvin was confused. He didn't know what Barrow meant. Just when he was about to continue asking, the bloody Barrow gradually disappeared and disappeared.
"Calvin, I thought we were friends. Do you think the sins I bear are not heavy enough?"
Barrow's voice echoed in the empty astronomy tower.
Calvin sighed. He originally thought he could ask the Slytherin ghost for the specific location of the Room of Requirement, but he didn't expect Bloody Barrow to be angry. Do you really have to explore the entire Hogwart by yourself?
Castle?
What did he say that offended Barrow?
Wait, calm down. Calvin recalled the conversation just now. Although he could not directly know the specific location of the Room of Requirement from Barrow, his words had revealed many clues.
Barrow's sins, Barrow's sins.
He killed his lover and ended his own life with the same murder weapon.
Barrow has always regretted his actions and will always wear a pair of shackles as repentance.
Barrow's sin is licking dogs.
Calvin suddenly thought of Snape. Calvin had also seen Snape's expression of atonement and regret for his beloved. If one day, Professor Snape unfortunately passed away, would he be unwilling to leave his life?
In the world of ghosts, do you choose to stay as a ghost?
This was not the focus of Calvin's consideration. He left the astronomy tower. If he was lucky, he would be able to find Barrow's lover, Ms. Gray, tonight.
Fortunately, before midnight, Calvin met the tall, outstanding-looking but arrogant Ravenclaw ghost, Ms. Grey.
"Ms. Gray," Calvin greeted her politely, showing the demeanor that a gentleman should have.
However, Ms. Gray just lowered her head, glanced at him with an empty look, and then hurriedly drifted away.
Calvin had a wry smile on his face, ghosts are such a difficult group of guys.
"Ms. Grey, I need your help." Calvin asked again.
The cold ghost ignored his request and floated away.
