From Beauxbatons to Hogwarts

Chapter 22 The Halloween Troll Attack

Calvin was helpless. The clues to find the Room of Requirement were broken again. It seemed that he could only carefully examine every corner of the castle alone.

Time passed like this, and Calvin spent every day between going to class and looking for the Room of Requirement. During these days, Calvin's evaluation among students gradually decreased because of his crazy exam behavior.

Soon, Halloween is coming.

Harry and Ron walked downstairs to the dining room to attend the Halloween party, and overheard Patil telling her friend Lavender that Hermione was crying sadly in the women's bathroom and refused to let anyone comfort her.

Although the relationship between the three of them has not improved, Harry and Ron have been very concerned about Hermione's situation since they obtained the double-sided mirror.

After they arrived at the restaurant, they were quickly attracted by the colorful Halloween costumes. Ron was holding a chicken leg in one hand and a forkful of potatoes in the other, but he didn't seem to have much appetite.

"Harry, should we go find Hermione?" Ron put down the things in his hands and said to Harry worriedly.

"What?" Harry was staring at the teacher's chair at this time. He noticed that Calvin sat down and left in a hurry without taking a few bites.

"I asked whether we should go find Hermione. Apologizing to her has been delayed for a long time." Ron raised his voice slightly and said to Harry, "What are you looking at?"

"Oh, I think you're right, Ron," Harry came back to his senses and looked at Ron, "But you also heard what Patil said, Hermione is in the women's room now, and it's not convenient for us to find her.

Well, let’s bring her something to eat after the banquet.”

Ron nodded: "What you said makes sense." Then he gnawed on the chicken legs with peace of mind.

Harry lowered his voice and said to Ron: "Do you think Professor Capet is a little strange?"

"No, I think Professor Capet is a good person." Ron happily ate a roasted chicken leg in each hand, "Now George and Fred are busy with alchemy all day long, and they don't have time to tease me."

"I often see Professor Capet walking around the castle, as if he is looking for something." Harry frowned, still a little suspicious.

"Hey, Harry, if you doubt Professor Capet, just take out the mirror he gave you and have a look." Ron said.

"I just think Professor Capet is weird, and I didn't say he was a bad person." Harry was a little annoyed.

At this moment, Professor Quirrell suddenly rushed into the dining room. His big scarf was tilted on his head, with a look of horror on his face. Everyone stared at him, and they saw him walking to Professor Dumbledore's chair.

, leaning on the table, gasping and saying: "Troll - in the underground classroom - you should know."

The restaurant suddenly became a mess.

"Prefect," Dumbledore quickly ordered with a serious expression, "take the students from your college to the dormitories immediately!"

Percy organized the first-year students with ease. "Follow me! Don't get separated, first-year students! As long as you listen to my instructions, you don't have to be afraid of any trolls! Okay, follow me closely. Get out of the way,

The first-year students are passing! Please excuse me, I am the prefect!"

When Harry and Ron were about to follow the crowd back, Harry suddenly grabbed Ron's arm.

"Hermione! She's still in the bathroom."

Ron also suddenly remembered this: "We have to find her."

Harry and Ron quietly walked to the end of the line, and when Percy wasn't paying attention, they walked in the other direction. They quietly slipped through the empty side corridor and hurried to the women's bathroom. As soon as they turned the corner, they heard a voice behind them.

Rapid footsteps.

"Percy!" Ron said in a low voice, pulling Harry to hide behind a large stone sculpture of a griffon.

They looked over from behind the stone sculpture, only to find that it was not Percy, but Professor Snape. He passed through the corridor and disappeared from their sight.

"What is he doing?" Harry asked in a low voice. "Why isn't he down in the basement with the other teachers?"

"how could I know!"

They followed Snape's retreating footsteps and walked quietly along another corridor, trying not to make any noise.

"He went to the fourth floor," Harry said, but Ron raised his hand.

"Can you smell anything?"

Harry sniffed, and then he swore he smelled the worst smell in his life, like an uncleaned bathroom mixed with the rotten stench.

"Ugh." Harry turned around and wanted to vomit, and then he saw a huge thing - twelve feet tall, with dull skin, a huge and stupid body like a huge booger, with a booger on top.

A small head like a cocoa bean.

"It's a troll." Ron whispered. The two turned around and ran, and then heard the shrill screams of the girls behind them.

It's Hermione.

With almost no hesitation, Harry and Ron chose to go back to help.

Hermione huddled against the opposite wall, as if she might faint at any time. The troll was approaching her, knocking the pool away from the wall as it walked.

Harry grabbed a faucet and threw it at the troll. The troll stopped a few steps away from Hermione. Its ugly little eyes saw Harry. It hesitated for a moment, and then headed towards Harry.

He walked over and raised the wooden stick in his hand.

Ron threw a water pipe at the troll from the other side of the room. The troll stopped again and turned its ugly big nose towards Ron. Harry took this opportunity to get close to Hermione.

Harry shouted to Hermione: "Come on!" But Hermione couldn't move and was still pressed against the wall.

The troll roared again and began to approach Ron. Ron had no way out. The three of them were surrounded by a troll.

Harry tried hard to pull Hermione up, but at this moment, Harry swore he saw four Professor Capet.

The three Capet professors picked up Harry, Hermione and Ron and quickly moved away from the troll. Behind the remaining Capet professor, a big bird with flashing lightning flew out, flapped its wings, released a bolt of lightning, and struck

The monster's head.

The troll fell to the ground, and Calvin waved his wand, releasing a thigh-thick hemp rope and tying up the troll tightly.

After doing all this, Professor Capet walked across the entire corridor almost instantly and came to the three young wizards. The other Professor Capet walked behind Calvin and blended in with him.

Calvin released several whirlwind cleansing on the three little wizards and himself, and then asked with a gloomy face: "Who can explain to me, what is going on?"

At this time, Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and Professor Snape also arrived in a hurry, and Professor Quirrell followed at the end.

Snape bent down to look at the troll. Professor McGonagall looked at Calvin with a gloomy face, and then saw the three Harrys standing aside, and his lips turned pale with anger.

"What do you want to do?" Professor McGonagall said, with cold anger in her voice. "You are lucky, Professor Cappy is not there, you will definitely be killed by it. Why don't you just stay in the dormitory?"

"Professor Capet, Professor McGonagall - they are looking for me." Hermione walked out from behind tremblingly.

"Miss Granger!" Professor McGonagall wiggled her nose, not believing that this model student would do anything that violated school rules.

"I came to see the troll because I - I thought I could handle it on my own - you know, because I had read about them and knew a lot about them."
