The compressor is in the middle of the turbofan engine, separated from the combustion chamber and turbine group by the jet port. The pipes should be arranged parallel to the jet port, which is equivalent to spanning half the length of the engine.

Because the inner covering of the engine needs to withstand high temperatures and pressures, it is at least made of titanium alloy. Adding a few more internal pipes will add a lot of weight, and the power that can be provided by abandoning the piston is very limited. Even when it is running, it can reach 5% of the main jet nozzle, which is already the theoretical maximum value.

This power is actually not low, because when the fighter aircraft slows down, the fuel supply will definitely be greatly reduced. With the auxiliary power provided by the bleed valve, the fuel supply can be further reduced.

But it is equivalent to the weight added to the engine, and designing a parallel jet pipe will definitely not be worth the gain.

In the final analysis, it is still a design issue, but the pipeline is not like a bleed valve. A very sophisticated design can be used to make up for other problems. The straight line distance between two points is the shortest. It is difficult to use a more sophisticated design on the length issue. To what effect.

Yuan Haitao came up with an idea. He thought that the exhaust vent could be placed directly in the secondary air duct. The turbofan engine does not have only one air duct. The internal main air duct is the source of engine power, and various internal components are the main air duct. For service, the secondary air duct is on the outer layer of the main air duct. The design purpose is mainly because the front fan occupies too large an area, while the center compressor occupies too small an area.

When the fighter plane flies very fast, all the high-speed air cannot pass through the main air duct, and the engine itself becomes a huge resistance, so the secondary air duct and the outermost third-level air duct are designed.

When the wind strength rises to a certain level, the air openings of the secondary air ducts will be opened, and air can pass directly from the secondary wind to the outermost three-level air ducts. Similarly, when the wind strength is higher, the outermost three-level air ducts will also be opened.

If the air outlet of the deflation valve is placed directly inside the secondary air duct, the high-pressure air can be discharged directly to the secondary air duct and then discharged along the air duct to the air outlet.

This idea was directly rejected by Zhao Yi and Sun Lei, because the high-pressure air would not be able to increase the driving force if it was discharged to the secondary air duct. What was the point of the previous design?

Therefore, the air outlet of the bleed valve can only be placed inside the first-level channel. It is best to discharge high-pressure air and play other roles, such as entering the combustion chamber to promote fuel combustion.
