God of Time System: Harem in the Zombie Apocalypse



"Now now… let's not cross the limit, shall we?"

Her eyes widened as she tried to free herself from my grip, but sadly, there is only so much struggle she can do. I then pressed a little harder than I commanded,"Kneel," before she slowly bent down on her knees and I let her go.

"That's better," I smiled at her as I patted her like a little child before speaking,"as long as you are in your limits, you will live a long life," before I turned to Nicholas who was now looking at me with wariness and caution.

"Who are you both? What have you done to my sister?" Nicholas asked with a slight glare as he looked at me before turning to Caroline, who was a kind of amused by his behavior.

"Come on, brother. Don't tell me that you were the only one who was hiding the secrets?" she spoke with the same amused face before moving towards me, before standing beside me as she held my arms and added,"why don't we have a proper nice chat? Family bonding, you know?"

A smile formed on my face as I looked at Caroline, whose expression was nowhere near the silly girl that she was showing a few moments before. Not that I am complaining.

"Is she going to join us?" asked Caroline as she looked at Silver, who was still kneeling as she observed me with fear and cautiousness.

"Yes," I answered. I have as many questions for her as much as I have for Nicholas. 

"Okay. What's your name again? Get dressed. You have-" before Caroline could even finish her sentence, that Vampire was now dressed in a white gown. Though it seemed quite… old fashioned?

"Well. That's better,"Caroline spoke before she looked at Nicholas,"Should we talk here or outside in the living room?" 

Nicholas pondered a little before he spoke,"the living room would be better."

Nodding at his words, Caroline and I moved towards the living room where the white sofas were arranged around the brown table. A big television was present on the wall not too far from the farther right sofa and the opposite side was open and big, leading to the rest of the area.

We moved first as Silver followed behind us while Nicholas was still in the room. Caroline sat near the opposite corner and I chose to sit beside her as I looked at that vampire and pointed at the sofa beside ours in my direction.

"Sit," I commanded her, and she slowly sat down there with her body still shaking as she didn't try to make any moves at all. As for Nicholas, he came out of the room, moments later, dressed in a proper Navy blue and white gentleman suit. Taking small steps, he reached the sofa opposite to us and made himself comfortable before he started the conversation.

"So, what do you want to talk about?"

Caroline looked at her brother before asking,"what exactly is going on in the family right now? Who is the leader and who else knows about it?"

Nicholas sighed as he began speaking,"Can I at least take a promise from you and your… boyfriend to not leak any info out? It's not just about us, you know? There are people who can kill our entire generation within a blink if they wanted to… it's their rules so…" 

He tried persuading us and after analyzing him a bit; I didn't find any lies within his words. 

"Okay. I promise for the both of us,"Caroline spoke as she looked at me, nodding at her and hearing her words, Nicholas began explaining,

"Well, it goes back to history since our ancestors existed. Our clan, you may say, was one of the most prominent clans of our time. It may sound unbelievable to you, but according to the ancient records, aliens once visited our planet back then. Beings that were powerful enough to cut mountains with a slash and people who had special ability-

"Skip," I spoke as I yawned a little. It might be helpful and all, but things like these have more sides than one can imagine. If I were going to find out about what happened, I would rather trust my [Inspect] skill than some records. Above all, I might even go directly to the aliens who invaded this planet back then. 

"Explain what's relative to what is currently happening,"I asked as I looked at him and though annoyed a little, he controlled himself before speaking,"it might seem really confusing if I may do that way."

"Then keep it short." I looked at him with a really tired face. He was boring me out right now. This isn't the reason why I came here.

Caroline was smiling a little as she controlled her laugh before Nicholas sighed and spoke,

"Well. Aliens came and blessed us with powers and ways to enhance them, then they left. Then came another few aliens who wanted to invade, but our family kept them at bay with other families. Then the first aliens arrived again and helped us get stronger and are currently with us and guiding us. 

The name is Dark Oracle, and the leader is a lady in a black dress named Angela who looks human but is anything like that. The entire world is governed by the Dark Oracle and our family is one of the most prominent families that work with them directly as we help them guide our world to a better future.``

He explained things really briefly and digested the fact, which was quite predictable,"Who else in our family knows about it?" Caroline asked as she observed Nicholas.

"Everyone who is above 20 knows about you. We were going to tell you before, but you flew away without any notice and kind of never came back until now. We tried calling you many times, but as you know, you were quite stubborn on your side," Nicholas answered.

"Amila?" Caroline asked and Nicholas shook his head into a 'No'. 

"What's her deal with all this?" I asked as I looked at Silver, who was sitting there like a doll without making any genuine movements. Though she did shriek a little as she heard me asking about her.

"What do you want to know about? She was a gift from one of the other families to us in exchange for some valuable information,"he said as he turned to Silver, which made me question a little…

'Does this guy even know that she is a vampire?' I thought as I looked at her with a curious look before turning to Nicholas again,

"She tried to control my mind and honestly, even an idiot can figure out that she is physically far more superior to a normal person."

Nicholas nodded before adding,"it's the same gift that our ancestors gave us. She possesses a form of energy that allows her to perform feats that are beyond what a normal person can. Miss Angela told us about a specific power called a 'Gift' which manifests in a special few and allows them to perform feats that are beyond one can think of."

"So she is a superhuman, huh? How long has it been since you received this power?" I asked as I looked at her with a beautiful smile. Damn, I could see her sweating a little as she turned at Nicholas before turning at me. Though before she could utter a single word,

"Just tell what you should tell. No need to force yourself," I added as I chuckled before relaxing back. Her eyes looked at me with a questioning gaze before she slowly muttered,

"30 years…" 

"What?" Nicholas asked again, as her voice was really too low to be heard by anyone.

"30 years. That's what she said,''I answered as I smiled at her before turning back to Nicholas, who was a kind of surprised as he observed Silver.

"That's really… genius, to be honest. Only the best ones among our family could manifest that much amount of power in such a short time. You didn't tell me about it, Silver?" Nicholas observed her more and more, but her eyes were fixated on me as I smiled at her.

"T-that… is because you never asked,"she answered with a forceful smile. I turned to find Caroline really interested in the topic, so I bent a little and whispered in her ear, low enough so that only she and Silver can hear,

"She is a 300-year-old vampire."

Silver's eyes widened as she looked at me before she finally sighed as her fear was confirmed that I knew about her. As for Caroline, she too was really surprised as she observed Silver with disbelief as she looked at her before turning to me,"No wonder you are interested in her." "What exactly are you both talking about?" Nicholas asked, as he couldn't control his curiosity inside of him.

"Nothing," I smiled at Nicholas. My smile told him that I was not going to tell him about it, so he left it at that before turning to Caroline,"So, is there anything else you want to know about?"

Caroline pondered a little before she nodded and started asking a few more questions, like who was the current leader and other families and stuff. Nicholas, for some reason, didn't hide anything from the start to the end. And the proof was the information in his [Description].

After all the talk was done, it was Nicholas' turn to ask questions to us, and the first question he asked was,

"What exactly is the relation between you and my sister?"
