Due to the overbearing will of the High King fusing with the transcendent aura of a dragon, you gain the ability to radiate an  aura of anger and pure rage from your body at will. For your allies, This ability will increase morale and stimulate a battle frenzy. But for enemies it will cause them to fall into madness.

Lucius looked at the talents in front of him and the smile on his face couldn't be concealed. It was just unfortunate that in his current form, his charming smile looked quite horrifying.

But even with his  rather traumatic appearance, it still  couldn't contain Lucius's joy.

But after being excited for a little while, Lucius eventually sobered up  and when he looked at the talents, he  couldn't help it raise an eyebrow

'What the hell was that supposed to mean?' 

Just as Lucius's curiosity was peaked a notification suddenly went off in his head

  Ding! Congratulations!

(Gold/???) represents talents that were supposed to be higher than golden rank but due to lack of conditions could only remain as golden ranked talent.

Despite this such talents were still above that of regular golden rank talents 

Lucius got a sudden notification in his head showing that the god behind everything had been paying close  attention to his recent events but Lucius wasn't focused on these little details, his attention was on something else.

'Above golden rank? isn't that heroic?'

Thinking about it Lucius felt a little excited. Heroic rank talents!

He actually made a bigger profit than he thought!

Lucius was excited but he was still concerned about one thing.

Never in the novel did it mention that the talent had the potential to upgrade to heroic. Although Landon as a protagonist, upgraded a few of his talents he just thought it was due to  the protagonists bullshit hax, he didn't know it would be applicable to him aswell 

But the more he thought about it actually made sense.

Landon may be the protagonist, but he didn't have the system.

He don't know his talents and couldn't accurately judge the ranks of his talents without a talent grade measurer since talent grade measures would be difficult to bring along with you at all times it wasn't surprising that things would be like this

With himself in a much better mood after acquiring his new talents Lucius looked over to Veronica when he noticed something strange.

The second their eyes met, she flinched.

Although she knew that this was Lucius she couldn't help it 

Just then, when their eyes met for a brief second,  Veronic found herself thrown  back to that scene where Lucius rushed at her in the classroom as the madness contained in their eyes was almost identical.

So just like last time Veronica  froze on the spot like a deer in headlights.

Lucius also didn't stop and continued to move towards her slowly with his crazed pair of red eyes on her the entire time.

Lucius raised his scaled hand and Veronica shivered 

That hand seemed to overlap with Xander it seemed to overlap with the same hand Lucius raised that was a choking her back then 

She closed her eyes and braced for impact when …

"Huh?"

Veronica opened her eyes because instead of pain, all she felt was a caring hand stroking her head.

It was… warm

Lucius looked at Veronica's stupefied expression and just chuckled 

"You seem surprised? After everything we've been through,  do you really think I'd hurt you "

"ah.."

Veronica  was left speechless

She wanted to say something but the tears built up in her eyes and ger words were caught in her throat.

Seeing this sight, Lucius just smiled, although with his current appearance, it really didn't look like it.

"Come on? Crying already? Are you moved by your words?"

The moved feeling that Veronica was feeling was quickly replaced by her annoyance and pride

"Humph! Like I would  cry over the words of a moron like you."

Lucius smiled at Veronica's clearly embarrassed appearance 

"Yes, yes. I'm a moron indeed"

As he said that he just stroked Veronica's hair as her embarrassed face remained buried in his chest. 

Lucius was talking with a lot of macho and nonchalance right now but deep down inside he was a little worried.

Although He didn't feel like his mind was about to be overwhelmed with  mindless rage. He  could barely suppress the endless battle lust raging in his heart.

Lucius was sure that if he was in this state and someone challenged him to a batte that was trap he would still agree. 

Th fearlessness and batttle lust contained by this new talent was too overwhlemig for him to resist alone. 

Thinking about it like this, Lucius was a little dissatisfied. 

From what he remembered, Landon's transformation was a little differnt. 

For one, His transfromationw was not cirmson it was described as having golden like the falling rays of sun light from the sky. 

Lucius also remembered that Landon was never described as having such a crazy appearance nor did he have such overwhelming Battle lust. 

Lucius could guess the reason for all this.

It was clearly said in the novel that this talent had joined in the mix when the dragon soul and blood of the high king were mixing.
