Hogwarts Card Drawer

Chapter 259 Reporting

Kronos didn't know when Harry left, anyway, it was completely dark outside when Kronos left.

He no longer had time to practice the Vanishing Charm, or write a diary about his dreams, nor finish his sketches on Bowtruckle, let alone Professor Snape's paper.

"Why didn't you do it last night?" Chronos asked, as Draco was busy in the spacious common room. Draco fell asleep as soon as he got back from Chronos yesterday. He was muttering, "Something else," and was scribbling something on the parchment.

"That's all I have to do," he said, snapping the diary shut. "I said I dreamed I was buying a new pair of shoes so she wouldn't be able to see anything in them, wouldn't I?"

"How was the detention at Umbridge yesterday? What did she want you to do?"

"Well... let's chat!" Kronos said after hesitation.

"That's pretty easy. Isn't it?" Draco said.

"Maybe!" Kronos couldn't stop trembling when he thought of what happened last night.

"Oh, yes. Dad has a letter, and he wants you to wait for him in the Slytherin common room on Thursday afternoon." Draco took out a crumpled letter from the inside pocket of his school robe.

"No need, I just know." Kronos waved his hand and said, he was in no mood to read the letter now.

He has so much homework that he is overwhelmed. When he returned to the Slytherin common room, tired and eager to go to bed, he opened his book and began to write Snape's dissertation on moonstone dust.

It was 2:30 in the morning when he finished writing. He knew he was pitiful, but it was of no use; unless he was then locked up by Snape.

Then he scribbled out answers to Professor McGonagall's questions, awkwardly revised Professor Graplan's paper on Bowtruckles, and staggered back to bed, falling asleep as soon as he put on his pajamas.

Thursday's day wore on, and Draco was as tired as Kronos. For the rare time when he saw Ron and Harry, he didn't sneer.

Chronos hadn't been put into detention since that day, but Harry was different. Although Harry didn't know why, Harry's third confinement was exactly the same as the first two, except that after 2 hours, the words "I can't lie" still didn't disappear from the back of Harry's hand, and remained on Above, dripping blood continuously.

Night gradually fell over the Slytherin common room. The candle beside Kronos automatically lit up.

"Dad, why haven't you come here yet?" Draco said angrily, "How did he get into the Slytherin common room. He doesn't know the password."

"I don't know, maybe he doesn't need to come in openly." Kronos said looking at the flames burning in the fireplace.

When Cao Cao arrived, the charcoal fire that was about to go out in the fireplace suddenly burned violently, making a crackling sound.

"Oh, damn it." This startled Draco on the side, and he cursed angrily.

"Hello, Uncle Lucius." Chronos smiled at Mr. Malfoy's face in the flames.

"My dad? Where? Where?" Draco stretched his neck and kept looking towards the entrance of the common room.

"Dad, why did you come here in such a form." Draco was dissatisfied with his father's unremarkable way of showing up after finishing writing.

"Time is limited." Uncle Malfoy's expression was serious, "You are here, Draco."

"I'm here to finish the dissertation assigned to me by Professor Snape! Did you forget? This year is O.W.L. year.

"Draco shook the parchment in his hand.

"Oh, really?" Mr. Malfoy looked suddenly enlightened, "Then you go back to the dormitory to rest for a while! I have something to tell Chronos."

"Can't even I know?" Draco tried to make a final resistance.

"No!" Mr. Malfoy's tone was full of doubts.

"Okay, you're in such a hurry. What's the matter? Uncle Lucius." Kronos leaned his back on the soft sofa.

"Well, time is running out." Mr. Malfoy said shamelessly, "I contacted several pure-blood families in the wizarding world."

"Oh? What did they say." Kronos became interested when he heard this.

"What else can I say, they are all a bunch of old foxes. They say they respect your title of magister, but when they stand in line, they are vague and dodge their reasons."

Mr. Malfoy looked as if he was a loyal and honest person. If Kronos knew that Voldemort would no longer trust the Malfoy family, he might not have written it on his own.

"What about those families who betrayed Voldemort after his downfall? Can Voldemort forgive them?" Kronos continued to ask.

"They? Huh!" Mr. Malfoy smiled disdainfully, "They can leave when the master loses power, which means that they are the ones who are greedy for power and afraid of death. Now that the Dark Lord is back, how could they What about relying on others?"

"What's more, this person may not guarantee their safety in the wizarding world." Mr. Malfoy said something meaningful.

"Huh?" Chronos raised his eyebrows, "Uncle Lucius, do you mean they don't believe that I have the strength to fight Voldemort?"

"What's the use of my belief? The key is that they don't believe it." Mr. Malfoy said, "Those old fellows don't see the rabbit and don't throw the eagle. If you want to win their support, you have to show how much they are convinced." Strength. Otherwise they wouldn't bet on you with treasures."

"Well, I see, Uncle Lucius." Chronos nodded solemnly.

"You know, I am no longer trusted by the master, so there will be very few opportunities to meet like this in the future. You should pay more attention to yourself! Now that Dumbledore is in Hogwarts, the master can't do anything. "

"But that idiot Fudge is about to get Dumbledore out of Hogwarts!" Mr. Malfoy said with contempt.

"By the way, there is one more thing." Mr. Malfoy suddenly turned back and said, "Master has already got the giant's support."

"Pfft." After saying this, the fire in the fireplace was completely extinguished.

"Is it a giant?" Chronos remembered the troll in the first grade, "So Hagrid's trip was in vain?"
