Hogwarts Card Drawer

Chapter 29 Punishment

As midnight approached, they carried Norbert up the marble steps of the foyer and down the dark corridors. Up one floor, and another—even though they took a short cut, they didn't save themselves at all. The little guy has been tossing around in the wooden box.

"Almost there!" Harry gasped as they reached the corridor on the lower floor of the tallest tower.

There was a sudden movement in front of them, so frightened that they almost threw away the boxes in their hands. They forgot that they were invisible, and quickly retreated into the shadows, looking at a light that was burning a dozen steps away from them.

"It's Professor McGonagall, let's not move, wait for him to pass." Kronos lowered his voice.

As the lights faded, the steep spiral staircase leading up to the tower seemed the easiest stretch in the world. They did not remove the invisibility cloak from the box until they were under the cold night sky. How nice to finally be able to breathe freely again. Hermione also did a kind of jig.

While they waited, they chatted first. Norbert kept beating the box with his tail. Ten minutes later, the four broomsticks descended from the night.

Charlie's friends were jovial people. They showed Harry and Hermione some improvised ropes they had tied so they could hang Norbert between them. They scrambled to get Norbert safely on the rope, and then Harry and Hermione shook their hands and said many words of thanks to them

Finally, Norbert went away and disappeared.

They walked down the spiral staircase quietly, and finally got rid of Norbert's heavy burden, their hearts were as light as their hands.

Chronos followed, and he had been waiting for someone. He felt relieved when he saw Filch the Administrator coming out of the dark corridor.

Filch led them to Professor McGonagall's study on the second floor, where they sat without saying a word. Hermione and Ron were shaking. Harry's mind quickly conjured up many excuses and reasons to defend himself, and made up some lies to get away with it, but found that they were more and more untenable. Only Kronos looked at Professor McGonagall's office leisurely.

Professor McGonagall came back, and her eyes swept over the four of them. The rage was so intense that she could not utter a word.

"I can't believe it's just you guys. Filch said you've gone to the Astronomy Tower. Don't forget it's one o'clock in the morning. Explain yourself."

All looked down at the low floor as if there were Galleons on it.

"I'm sorry, Professor McGonagall. It's all my fault. I asked them to go to the Astronomy Tower together. I lied to them that there will be... there will be... a meteor shower tonight." Kronos really didn't think of a lie, temporarily Made up a lie that could be seen at a glance.

Harry and the others all stared at Chronos with wide eyes. They couldn't believe that Chronos took most of the responsibility for them.

It's not that Kronos is some good old man. He came here because he was punished to go to the Forbidden Forest. Punishing him alone is no different from four people, it's better to make a good impression on the three of them. It is also good to use in the future.

"Very good, Mr. Slughorn. Do you really think that I am not the head of Slytherin and can be used casually? I am the vice head of Hogwarts, and I have the same right to punish you." McGonagall The professor growled. Kronos suddenly felt that Norber was not so irritable anymore.

"Of course I know." Kronos felt indifferent.

Professor McGonagall looked at the four people in the office again, "Each of you will deduct fifty points for your respective college."

"Fifty?" Harry wondered. He seemed to hear Hermione crying.

"Yes, fifty cents per person. At the same time, confinement is required." Professor McGonagall's voice resounded in the office.

"Okay, now you all go back to your beds. Filch will watch you.

"Professor McGonagall ordered the eviction order.

Harry and Ron looked dazed, and Hermione was crying. On the contrary, Kronos was the one with the highest mood, and he had to put on a depressed face.

Everyone parted at the stairs.

"Thank you for today, Chronos!" whispered Harry.

"It's okay, we're friends, aren't we?" Kronos also put on a look of pity.

"Hurry up!" Filch's voice sounded behind him.

"Okay, Harry. I'll go first, see you tomorrow."

The next day, when Gryffindor's classmates passed the score hourglass of the House Cup, they were surprised to find that Gryffindor suddenly lost 150 points and came third. Although Slytherin also deducted fifty points, he returned to the first place!

When they learned that it was the famous Harry Potter and his two idiot classmates who caused them to lose one hundred and fifty points, they immediately became the target of public criticism.

Even the Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs didn't give him a good look, because everyone had been hoping to see Slytherin lose the House Cup.

In contrast to Chronos, Slytherin originally had opinions on Kronos. In the end, there was an extreme reversal in the story made up by Draco Malfoy.

In the Malfoy sky, Chronos found the Gryffindor trio of Harry, Ron and Hermione with ulterior motives. Kronos followed the three under the premise of violating school rules. In the end, Chronos fought against the Gryffindor trio in the observatory, although he was finally discovered by Professor McGonagall. But he still pulled Gryffindor down from the number one position by himself.

All of a sudden Chronos became the great hero of Slytherin, and the version became more and more outrageous. In the end Chronos seemed to be the hero who saved the world, and the three of Harry became the villains who did all kinds of evil. As a result, Professor Snape treated him much better during Potions class.

Chronos looked at Malfoy, who was eloquent. I sighed in my heart: "This kid really should go to the Daily Prophet, he will definitely become a gold medal writer there."

But what really made him happy was the note: Your confinement starts at eleven o'clock tonight. Look for Mr. Filch in the foyer.

Professor McGonagall
