Hogwarts Card Drawer
Chapter 51 Gilderoy Lockhart
"Then do you think I will become a Dark Lord like the Mysterious Man?" Kronos suddenly approached Hermione, staring into her eyes
"Huh?" Hermione was taken aback by Kronos' sudden movement. Then, as if thinking of something, he lowered his head after a "wow".
Harry saw Hermione blushing, and he didn't understand why. It was obviously fine just now, why did it suddenly become like this.
Kronos spread his hands and sighed. No way, sometimes too handsome is also a trouble.
"That group of people just don't want others to live better than them, so they slander others behind their backs." Kronos didn't care what others thought of him.
"Harry, are you here with the Weasleys?" Chronos asked.
"Yeah." Harry nodded, "It's just that we got lost."
"I think they found you." Chronos laughed.
Harry and Hermione looked around and saw Ron, Fred, George, Percy and Mr. Weasley pushing their way through the crowd and running towards them.
"Harry," Mr. Weasley gasped, "we've been praying that you're not more than a stove away..." He wiped his bald head, which was glistening with sweat. Mollie was so worried—well, here she was. "Which fireplace did you go to?" ' asked Ron.
"Cronus, are you here too?" Ron found Chronos standing aside.
"Oh, my God! Are you Chronos Slughorn?" Mr. Weasley said happily, "I met you that day, at the Ministry of Magic. It was the day of the magic circle press conference, and I stood Opposite to your left."
Just as Chronos was about to speak, he saw Mrs. Weasley running towards him in a hurry. The handbag he was carrying in one hand shook violently, and the little red-haired girl, who should be Ginny, was pulled by Weasley's other hand. The little girl obviously struggled to follow.
"Oh, Harry—oh, honey—you can go anywhere—" She hugged Harry first, and then started counting the children in his house with her fingers. When she saw Chronos, she acted exactly like Mr. Weasley.
She first yelled excitedly, and then hugged Kronos again.
"Mum likes him now," Ron whispered in Harry's ear.
"But he is indeed better than us. Ron." Harry said seriously, as if explaining a fact.
"You don't know, Harry. Mum always talks about Chronos at home and always compares me to him," said Ron.
"I still have to go to Lihen Bookstore to buy this semester's book, Mrs. Weasley." Kronos finally broke free from her embrace, and Kronos was very hard to accept this kind of maternal enthusiasm.
"Oh, what a good boy. He is so good, but he still works so hard." Then he turned to Ron and said, "You are in the same grade as Kronos, you have to study hard from him."
"Look." Ron looked at Harry with the expression that I was right.
Harry could only smile helplessly, he was born without parents, so he didn't understand Ron's troubles.
Lihen Bookstore is on the right side of Madam Mojin's robe shop. It's a huge wizarding bookstore filled with bookcases reaching to the ceiling. Lihen's Bookstore sells elementary wizarding books, but is probably the only bookstore that provides study textbooks for Hogwarts students, although Hogwarts courses require more books than they sell.
Lihen Bookstore is currently holding a temporary book signing party, and they were surprised to find that a large group of people gathered around the door of the bookstore, desperately trying to squeeze in. The strange phenomenon is well explained by a banner pasted on the front glass window: Guidlow-Lockhart will be autographing today his autobiography - "Amazing Me" "We have a chance today to see him Your style!"
"We can see him face to face.
screamed Hermione. "I mean, he's written almost all of our to-do list." "
They squeezed a passage with their bodies. A long line has stretched gracefully to the back of the bookstore.
There, Gilderoy Lockhart was signing his autobiography. They each took a copy of "How to Deal with Banshees" and squeezed into the line where the Weasleys and the Grinzos stood.
Kronos regretted coming here a bit, staying here was a waste of time. He really didn't understand why Dumbledore would hire such a guy as a professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts. But for that diary, Kronos could only endure it.
The team was slowly advancing, and Kronos finally saw this wizard who was like a star.
Gilderoy Lockhart was wearing a magic robe woven of blue forget-me-nots, the color of which matched the color of his eyeballs. His pointed wizard's hat sat triumphantly over his wavy hair.
A small, grumpy man flicks from side to side with a black camera that emits a puff of purple smoke after each blinding flash.
"It's boring." Chronos yawned, which Gilderoy Lockhart heard. He looked up and saw Chronos. He jumped up from his seat and shouted, "Isn't this the famous Magister, Chronos?"
The people around automatically gave up an open space, when those witches saw Kronos' face clearly. They all screamed like Mrs. Weasley, and some even fainted.
"It's amazing." Ron said, looking at the crazy witches.
Lockhart glanced at the group of witches with dissatisfaction, and then rushed forward and grabbed Chronos' arm. Tried to pull him up, but Kronos didn't like that.
"Finally Lockhart had no choice but to beckon, and the short man ran up to it. He quickly pressed the shutter on Kronos and Lockhart.
"Ladies and gentlemen." Lockhart waved his hand to signal the scene to be quiet. He continued. "Not only will our Mr. Magister have my new book, The Amazing Me, but more than that is unimaginable. In fact, he and their fellow students will get the real Amazing Me! Yes, gentlemen , Ladies, it is my great honor and pride to announce that this September, I will be taking up the post at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as their new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher!"
There was a burst of applause from the crowd, and Chronos noticed that Hermione's hands were slapping red.
Chronos hurried through the crowd and came to the youngest daughter of the Weasleys, Ginny. She is holding her new cauldron.
And one foot of Draco and his father has also stepped into Lihen Bookstore.
