Hogwarts Card Drawer

Chapter 6 The Hogwarts Express

The next day, Chronos got up at five o'clock in the morning. Excited and nervous, he tossed and turned last night. He got up from the bed and managed to find a set of Muggle service clothes to put on. Because there are still a lot of Muggles outside King's Cross Station, you can change wizard robes on the train anyway.

Chronos checked the Hogwarts list over and over again, making sure everything was there except the owl required above. After that, he started to walk around the room, but he really got up too early. Downstairs Horace was snoring like thunder.

Finally, two hours later, under the urging of Kronos, Horace dawdled out of bed and began to prepare breakfast. The breakfast was hearty, with apple pie and a glass of pumpkin juice on the table. But Kronos is not in the mood to taste their delicacies, his mind has already drifted thousands of miles away.

Finally, at 8:10, Chronos' luggage was moved to the taxi. Horace originally planned to use Apparition, but Kronos strongly opposed it.

They reached King's Cross at ten past nine, and Horace put Chronos' suitcase on the trolley and wheeled him into the station.

"Your platform is at the ticket gate between the ninth and tenth platforms, you just go straight in." Horace obviously didn't intend to send him in.

Chronos nodded and started walking towards the ticket gates, being pushed and shoved by Muggle passengers swarming towards platforms 9 and 10. The closer he got to the ticket gate, the faster Kronos' heart beat.

Kronos closed his eyes, bent over and lay down on the trolley, making up his mind to hit it.

After Kronos only felt a brief deafness in his ears, the chirping sound came again.

A crimson steam locomotive was parked beside a platform packed with passengers. A sign on the train read: Hogwarts Express, eleven o'clock.

Thick smoke from steam locomotives hovered over the dense crowd, and cats of various colors walked around under people's feet. Chronos's ears were filled with the buzzing of the crowd and the noise of dragging luggage, and even the owls were hooting shrillly overhead.

The first few carriages were already full of students. Some of them leaned out of the windows to bid farewell to their families, and some were playing in their seats.

Kronos was not in a hurry at all, he slowly pushed the cart and shuttled through the crowd while carefully observing everything in front of him.

Chronos walked from the front of the car to the rear, and found an empty compartment at the rear of the car.

"Fred, George, are you in the car?"

Kronos, who heard the voice, immediately turned his head to look, "Could it be that twin brother?"

Kronos quickly found them, they were so discerning, their red hair was as hot as a flame.

Then he saw a boy in billowing black Hogwarts robes walking towards them. Even at a distance, Kronos still found a shiny silver letter P pinned to his chest.

Needless to say, this was obviously their prefect brother Percy Weasley.

"Hey, Chronos. So you are here! I was looking for you just now, but they all said they didn't see a boy with white hair." These words were said by Draco Malfoy. At this moment, he was struggling to squeeze towards Kronos from the front compartment.

"Oh, hello, Draco," Kronos said in greeting.

"Let's go to the front. I've occupied the carriage there, so I can stay away from here." When he said this, Draco waved his hand on his nose in distaste, as if there was some bad smell here.

Kronos shrugged his shoulders with a smile. He knew that Draco Malfoy was an unswerving supporter of pure blood. He didn't want to express any opinion on it.

Open the sliding door of the compartment, and there are already two boys sitting inside.

The two looked at each other first, and then looked at Draco Malfoy in unison.

"All of you introduce yourself! This is Chronos Slughorn I mentioned last time." Draco's voice sounded in Chronos' ear.

"Vincent Crabbe."

Chronos nodded. Crabbe was one of Draco Malfoy's bodyguards and followed him closely. He was also a stocky guy with a short pot cut and long, gorilla-like arms.

Then the other one is Gregory Goyle, another bodyguard of Malfoy. His hair was short and bristly, and he was huge, with arms as long as those of an orangutan. But it looks like Crabbe has dementia.

Chronos even once suspected that Draco's criteria for accepting younger brothers were determined by their size. Neither of these two people seem to be smart.

Chronos and Draco sat across from them, and Draco would not listen to bragging when they were sitting together.

"Our whole family came from Slytherin."

"My dad still wants me to go to Armstrong, you know. The Dark Arts are taught there, but my mum says it's too far away."

"Dumbledore won't let first years bring their own broomsticks. I should tell my dad to fire him."

"My dad is the trustee of Hogwarts!"

....….….….….….….….….….…………………….

Just like that, in Draco's three sentences never leaving his mother and five sentences never leaving his father. Chronos finally ushered in a woman with a wide smile and dimples.

She pushed open the door of the compartment and asked kindly: "Honey, do you want to buy some food in the car?"

"Great, I'm just hungry, please give me a portion of each." Kronos shouted loudly, and Draco, who was still chattering on the side, was obviously taken aback.

"It's eleven silver Sickles and seven copper Knuts, my dear." The woman's face was full of smiles.

Kronos was holding a large amount of food, and it all fell on the empty seat at once.

Then he took a bite of the pumpkin pie and said, "Eat it too, I can't eat so much by myself."

The friendship of children is so simple, the friendship of a snack. Crabbe and Goyle became familiar with Chronos, but they still spoke very little.

After a while, someone knocked on their cubicle door again, and the person who opened the door this time was obviously also an acquaintance. Round-faced boy (Neville Longbottom).

"Excuse me," he said, "but I wanted to ask if you saw my toad?"

After hearing this sentence, Draco frowned obviously and smacked his lips, but didn't say anything.

Kronos spread his hands and shook his head slightly.

"I lost him again." Neville cried and left here.

"Toad? I bet he's still living in the wizarding world of the last century!" After saying this, Draco and his two little brothers laughed out loud.
