Hogwarts Homecoming

Chapter 1165 Lovegood and his daughter

Mr. Lovegood's home is very similar to his personality, and its appearance is very strange, like a miniature black castle.

Ewen suffered a great loss when she first visited Mr. Lovegood's home.

At that time, she came to deliver some fresh fruits and vegetables to Mr. Lovegood as agreed. It was completely unrealistic to expect a single man living alone to go to the village at the foot of the mountain to buy vegetables on time.

At that time, Mr. Lovegood seemed to be writing an article in the house. When she knocked on the wooden door of the yard surrounded by the fence and some strange warning words, Mr. Lovegood just shouted in the house and asked her to come in.

As a housewife who often deals with crops.

Ewen was immediately attracted by the various strange plants planted along the winding path leading to the house.

She involuntarily walked towards a vine full of full bean pods.

Then, Ewen met a magical plant called pimple vine that she would never forget!

"I'm sorry, Mr. Lovegood--"

Perhaps to fit the round outline of the house, all the furniture in the room is made into an arc that can fit the wall, including the stove, sink and cupboard

Moreover, these furniture are painted with flowers, insects and birds in bright primary colors.

Suddenly coming from the dark home to such a warm and severe environment, Ewen felt uncomfortable.

She stood in front of the fireplace, clutching the corner of her clothes, leaning forward and nodding, looking at the ceiling pierced by a cast iron spiral staircase in the center of the room.

Mr. Lovegood was not seen on the first floor, and Luna and Bona were not there either. Ewen thought they were all upstairs.

"Come up by yourself, Ewen, I'm writing an important article that needs to be published tomorrow morning!"

Mr. Lovegood's muffled voice sounded like he had a cold from upstairs.

Ewen left the fresh vegetables she brought to Mr. Lovegood on the first floor and climbed the stairs alone.

She had never been to the second floor of Mr. Lovegood's house. It was much more messy than the first floor. It looked like a living room or a studio, with papers and books piled everywhere.

Hanging from the ceiling were some exquisite animal models. Seeing a stranger in the house, the models bared their teeth at her.

Ewen shrank her shoulders in fear, and turned her eyes to find Mr. Lovegood writing furiously among a pile of paper.

He was wearing a stained long nightgown, and his long, cotton candy-like white hair was swaying in the wind that broke in from the window. His nightgown was also blown into the shape of a fluffy group that medieval noble women would wear.

"Oh, Mr. Lovegood, you will catch a cold like this."

Ewen said in surprise, and she hurried over and closed the window for him.

Mr. Lovegood did not look up during this process, but only focused on "tidied" his article, which made Ewen a little embarrassed.

"Oh, can I ask what that is, Mr. Lovegood?"

A huge gray spiral horn in front of Lovegood naturally caught Egwene's sight.

"Ah, the article I'm writing is about it--"

Mr. Lovegood, who had been keeping his head down, finally raised his head. He introduced it to Egwene with great interest,

"A friend of mine from the Ministry of Magic saw it from the ruins when he was ordered to clean up the battlefield after the Battle of Diagon Alley.

He asked several people but couldn't figure out what it was, so he came to me, and I immediately recognized it. It was the horn of a crooked-horned snorkle!"

Egwene's misty eyes were mixed with some inferiority. She didn't continue to ask, but nodded gently.

"The crooked-horned snorkle is a very sensitive and shy magical animal, but it will become very unfriendly if stimulated. Since it was found in the ruins of Diagon Alley, then I have solid evidence!"

Mr. Lovegood looked at the strange-looking horn with obsession.

"Uh, what evidence?"

Egwene couldn't help asking.

"Of course it was You-Know-Who who used the Snorlax in the Battle of Diagon Alley!"

Mr. Lovegood shouted in a matter-of-fact tone,

"This is the article I'm writing!"

"Who are you talking to, Dad!"

The door suddenly opened upstairs, and a teenage girl jumped out of the room.

"Mrs. Senna down the mountain, she and Bona are staying at our house tonight."

Mr. Lovegood had a completely different attitude when facing his daughter, and his eyes, which were bloodshot due to staying up all night, were full of tenderness.

"Mom!"

A crisp girl's voice came from the room. After a thud, she rushed down the stairs barefoot with two pigtails and ran into Egwene's arms.

"Oh, you didn't cause trouble for Mr. Lovegood and Sister Luna, Bona?"

Egwene happily picked up her daughter and pecked Bona's pink and chubby cheeks with her lips.

"I'm not making trouble, Mom!"

Bona shook her head seriously, and then looked at her mother eagerly,

"Are we going to sleep here tonight?"

"Oh, because your dad is going to entertain some friends at home--"

Egwene glanced at Mr. Lovegood who was writing his article again, and after not finding any unhappy expression on his face, Egwene secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

She pinched Bonna's cheek, her expression showing the tenderness of maternal love,

"What were you playing with Luna in the room just now?"

"Sister Luna was telling me about Hogwarts and Professor Braine!"

Poona said excitedly,

"Mom, when can I go to Hogwarts? I also want to take Professor Blaine's physical education class!"

"Oh, you're too young, Bona. You still have to wait a few more years before you can go to school."

Ewen said, her eyes flickering.

This answer made the little girl very dissatisfied. She pouted and made a fuss.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Senna--"

Looking at Yiwen and Bona, Luna, who was smiling with a hint of envy, spoke at the right moment.

"Oh, good afternoon, Luna--"

Ewen responded with a reserved smile,

"You're at least an inch taller than you were at Christmas, Luna."

Luna tilted her head and smiled sweetly. She saw her father immersed in the article and couldn't help himself.

"Come to my room, Mrs. Cena, I'm telling Pona about how Professor Blaine subdued dozens of dementors at the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff Quidditch match."

Luna waved to Egwene like she was an old friend.

"Let's listen together."

With that said, she skipped back to her room.

A little weird girl——

Yiwen thought so in her heart, but then, inexplicable uneasiness and worry came over her.

Mr. Amosta Brain single-handedly subdued dozens of Azkaban's terrifying dementors. Can anyone really compete with such terrifying creatures as the dementors?

Ewen pursed her lips.

However, it is not impossible that a wizard as great as Amosta Braine and Albus Dumbledore could be more powerful than a dementor.

As soon as she entered the room with light blue carpets, Ewen was attracted by a large picture frame placed on the cabinet next to the big bed.

The framed photo shows a young Luna embracing a woman who resembles her.

Yiwen's expression changed.

She is an ‘old resident’ of the village of Saint Catchpore.

It was not that she had heard of Mrs. Lovegood's tragedy.

Entering the room, Bona squirmed out of Ewen's arms, jumped onto Luna's bed and bounced freely.

"I haven't finished the story just now. Sister Luna, I'm going to continue to hear how the great Professor Blaine drove away so many dementors!"

There was not a single stool in the room, and Egwene was thinking about where she should sit.

"Just sit on the bed, Mrs. Senna—"

Luna said something understanding, and then she jumped on the bed and told Bona about the patron saint who occupied the entire campus.

"Sit down quickly, Mom, Sister Luna is going to tell a story!"

Bo Na saw her mother still standing at the end of the bed uneasily, waving her little hands in dissatisfaction.

Ewen had no choice but to obey her daughter's command, resting half of her butt on Luna's fragrant bed.

She had no intention of spending the entire afternoon in Mr. Lovegood's daughter's room.

Just out of politeness and to appease Poona, after a while, she planned to check in the house to see if there was anything she could do to help, such as cleaning the room and sorting out the debris.

Without a mistress, a home, no matter how warm it is, is a bit unseemly.

While Egwene was thinking about how to make Mr. Lovegood's messy studio tidy, she was bored and listened to Luna's talk about Amosta Brain, whom everyone knew and knew.

Then, I stayed like this until night
