Hogwarts Homecoming
Chapter 1166 Luna's Wisdom
Perhaps it's because Mr. Lovegood's home is located between two gentle peaks. The wind here is not as strong as at the foot of the mountain.
As night falls, the stars appear.
The silken mist that moves with the breeze on the top of the mountain makes the ancient galaxy become graceful and dreamy.
They are obviously located in the same place, but the scenery on the mountain and below is completely different.
Bang!
There was an unexpected explosion. Looking at the starry sky and falling into a strange sad mood, Yiwen was shaken out of her thoughts. She quickly turned her head and looked back.
The explosion occurred on the second floor of the house. Paper scraps were scattered all over the living room, and many of them floated outside the house.
"What's going on, Mr. Lovegood?"
Yiwen shouted in panic, and she hurriedly rushed into the yard to enter the house to check the situation.
"Don't be nervous, Ewen—"
Luna, who was showing Bona acquainted with those strange plants in the yard, smiled and said, her silver eyes shining ethereally under the stars.
"Is the printer broken again, Dad?"
After preventing Mrs. Senna from entering the house to ‘make trouble’, Luna herself shouted at the second floor window,
"Do you need my help?"
"Ahem!"
A choking cough came from the window,
"It's just a small problem, Luna. I can solve it. You and Bona continue your research--"
Mr. Lovegood shouted from across the room.
What surprised Ewen was that Luna really didn't care. She squatted down again holding the skirt of her pajamas. She didn't care about the crystal water drops dripping on her dark golden hair, and continued to grow from a cluster of lush shrubs. Pick an orange-red radish-shaped fruit for her and Bona.
Luna squeezed the juice from the radish fruit and smeared it on the tip of Bona's nose, drawing a clown-like nose for her, which made Bona giggle non-stop.
"Luna, Mr. Lovegood really doesn't need help?"
After hesitating for a while, seeing the clanging sound on the second floor not stopping, Yiwen couldn't help but ask.
Luna, who was squatting on the ground, took a look at her face and glanced at Ewen. The pure light in her eyes made Ewen fall into a trance.
"If Dad needs help, he'll tell me. He didn't tell me, so don't worry."
Luna's voice floated as thinly as the thin clouds above them.
"Bonna--"
Luna clapped her hands, stood up holding the hem of her skirt, and said happily to Bona
"Go and clean your nose. Next, I'm going to teach you how to make carrot earrings."
"Okay, Sister Luna——"
Bona jumped up from the floor, ran into the house, and rushed into the kitchen to rinse her nose.
"Ewen--"
The loose hair from Luna's casually tied ponytail was brushed and touched her white cheeks stained with mud, and her silver eyes were aimed at Ewen.
As soon as she was touched by that insightful gaze, Yiwen's heart beat faster.
"What. What's wrong, Luna?"
Egwene was a little nervous.
"Are you worried?"
Luna's hands hung naturally by her sides, and the ethereal smile on her lips seemed a bit strange and mysterious in Ewen's eyes!
"Oh, w-what. I don't-"
Yiwen hurriedly avoided Luna's eyes, but immediately she felt a little unconvinced. After all, the person in front of her was just a teenage girl.
"I'm just not sure Bona's dad can cook something good for himself and his friends. You know, not every man is as good at cooking as Mr. Lovegood is. Most of them can't do it well. A fried egg--"
Ewen panicked.
Luna's pale golden eyelashes suddenly fluttered. Still smiling, she turned her head and picked two carrot fruits from the bush.
After fiddling with it for a few times, the fruit's stem became forked, and Luna clamped the two small carrots to her ears.
Seeing that Ewen was still uneasy, Luna shook her head as if to drive away something.
"It doesn't matter, Yiwen, you don't have to say it if you don't want to."
So, Ewen blushed at the words of a teenage girl.
Looking at Luna who was playing with the fruit again, as if she was planning to get a pair of earrings for Bona, Ewen's lips moved and then closed again.
After repeating this process, Yiwen, who couldn't restrain her inner worries, still kept asking,
"Luna, what you said this afternoon, I mean, what you said about Mr. Blaine, are all true?"
The light in Luna's eyes was still pure, not mixed with unnecessary curiosity. She nodded,
"He is the best professor, as well as the wisest and most powerful wizard. With him here, I won't worry much about the mysterious man."
Ewen's heart twitched as she thought that John and his friends at the foot of the mountain might be planning something.
The look of worry and hesitation on Ewen's face became more intense, but Luna did not ask any more questions and just looked at Ewen quietly.
"That's actually true"
Yiwen's low voice was drowned in the sudden gust of mountain wind.
"Mom, sister Luna!"
Bo Na, whose nose was rubbed red by herself, ran back jumping up and down, the braid on her head was bumpy.
"What are you talking about!"
"I know John if he's real"
Ewen's narration mixed with tears was interrupted by her daughter's innocent voice.
"Your mother said she forgot to bring her pajamas, Bona--"
Luna put the carrot earrings she had just made into Bona's hands.
"I'll get Bona for you, and you and Yiwen should take a shower first."
Before Egwene could stop her, Luna trotted into the house.
"Dad, I'm going out for a trip and I'll be back soon -"
Luna stood at the entrance of the spiral staircase and shouted to the people upstairs.
"Do you need to bring your wand, Luna?"
Mr. Lovegood shouted amid the clanking sound.
Luna's eyes flashed,
"No, Dad."
Then, with a flash of fire, Luna appeared in Egwene's dark cabin.
"Bonna's Pajamas"
Looking at the girl with lively eyes in front of the fireplace, John blinked in confusion, and then suddenly realized,
"Are you, oh, Luna, Mr. Lovegood's daughter, who lives over the hill?"
This voice drew Luna's attention to a man in his twenties, whose eyebrows were somewhat similar to Bona's.
Ignoring the two wands and the room's vague hostility directed at her, Luna nodded happily.
"I'm Luna Lovegood, Mr. Senna. It was Egwene who asked me to help Bona get her pajamas."
Angris's eyelids trembled slightly, and he slowly lowered his wand. As if his face changed, the coldness on his face disappeared. He held his forehead and shook his head, smiling bitterly.
"Ah, I thought they asked me for gold. My business just suffered a disastrous failure, and I can no longer afford a galleung. Why didn't Egwene come by herself?"
"She's helping Bona take a bath——"
Luna said, looking at John,
"The temperature is very low over the mountain, Mr. Senna, I'd better go back quickly, otherwise Bona will catch a cold——"
"Oooh!"
John came to his senses immediately, he said sorry to Mr. Anglis in shame, and then hurried up to the second floor.
Watching John run up to the second floor, Luna turned around, opened her eyes wide, and looked at the faces in the room without hesitation, as if she didn't feel the tense atmosphere in the room at all.
The face of another gray-eyed wizard holding a staff at the door was frozen for a very short moment. Luna looked at Angris again, and asked again a little "unconsciously\
,""Are you chatting?"
"It's just a group of losers gathering together to complain about the bad world. Beautiful lady——"
Angris said with a smile,
"Would you like to join us?"
"It seems we can't reach a consensus -"
Luna said,
"I think the current situation is pretty good. Of course, it would be better if there is no mysterious person to cause trouble."
Thumb, thump, thump!
John went upstairs to Bona's bedroom, grabbed the pajamas thrown at the end of the bed and rushed downstairs out of breath.
John was surprised by the soft-spoken Mr. Angelis who chatted with Luna.
It was clear that Mr. Anglis had such a terrifying expression when Luna broke into the house just now.
"Goodbye, Mr. Senna——"
After getting Bona pajamas, Luna waved to everyone, hummed and skipped to the fireplace.
Under Angris's deep gaze, Luna shook the bag vigorously, took out the last bit of floo powder from the bag and threw it into the fireplace, and her figure also disappeared in the exploding green flames.
"Nothing happened!"
Egwene was standing in front of the fireplace in the castle cabin, walking anxiously. When Luna walked out of the flames just now, she couldn't wait to greet her.
But before Ewen could ask, Luna smiled and said,
"There are only a group of people complaining there. It's late. Ewen, go get some rest. Tonight, you and Bona will sleep in my room."
