Hogwarts: I am Voldemort
Chapter 347 Three Spies
Malfoy Manor.
Small building.
August, who was tightly wrapped in a cloak, hurriedly walked into the door, and Voldemort's figure on the second floor also turned around.
"Who is this?"
Old Nott, who was standing outside the small building, asked Lucius beside him doubtfully.
"I don't know, but the Dark Lord let him in," Lucius said with a shrug.
Old Nott nodded and glanced doubtfully towards the second floor of the small building, but the curtains there were already closed.
August, who walked up to the second floor, also knocked on the study door.
The study room that had been cast with the Traceless Telescopic Charm was very large, with thick books standing there in the air.
On the spine of the middle book, there is written "Transfiguration Spell Wave Picture", and the names of McGonagall and Dumbledore are written in the author's place.
Voldemort was standing in front of this book, reading it carefully.
"Snape came to see me, Master." August came to Voldemort's side, lowered his head and said softly.
Voldemort nodded, scratched a mark on the book with his wand, and asked, "What did he say?"
"He invited me to join the school side, but I declined."
August's words caused Voldemort to sneer, and finally made him look away from the book.
"It's a test, isn't it?" Voldemort asked.
"Yes, Master, and when he asked this question, he was at the Pig's Head Bar." August said.
Voldemort raised his eyebrows and said, "Where's brother Dumbledore?"
"Yes, Master." August nodded.
"It seems that he still maintains his identity as a double agent." Voldemort murmured.
August made no comment on this. He just continued after Voldemort looked at him again.
"Then I left the bar and he invited me again, this time, to join the third force."
August's words finally attracted Voldemort's attention.
He looked at the other person impatiently, urging August to speak faster with his eyes.
"That is an organization called the Observers. According to him, this is just a peripheral name, and it is very powerful. I saw terror in Snape's eyes." August said.
"fear?"
Voldemort asked and confirmed.
August nodded with a serious expression, confirming that it was "horror".
Voldemort frowned.
He really couldn't think of anything else that could scare Snape other than himself.
"Go on," Voldemort said.
"Yes, Master."
August gathered his thoughts and continued, "He clearly mentioned Ms. Hiddleston and said you killed her."
"It was indeed me who killed her, but I didn't expect that Snape would join this organization." Voldemort said thoughtfully.
"He said that this organization invited him when he was a child, and would invite many wizards who live near Muggle gatherings, or those Muggle wizards." August said again.
Voldemort nodded and asked: "Could it be an organization established by Muggle wizards? Just like the Falcons."
August shook his head and said: "I don't think Muggle wizards have such strength. It would be difficult for them to scare people like Snape."
Voldemort nodded, he thought so too.
"Ms. Hiddleston...the Observer..."
Voldemort murmured, his frown deepening.
"The salesperson on the Hogwart Express train has almost all the information about wizards. Observer... this should be a very ambitious and strict organization."
Thinking of those wizards with extremely high fighting skills, Voldemort couldn't help but become more curious about the observers.
"Yes, Master." August, who took off his cloak, also showed worry on his face, "I don't understand the meaning of them having such information."
Voldemort nodded, he couldn't understand either.
"Why is Snape so proactive?" Voldemort asked.
"The Observer wanted to explore the Department of Mysteries and, in exchange for protecting Harry Potter, prompted Snape to take action," August said.
"He came to you directly?" Voldemort asked.
"No, I checked with several colleagues, and Snape also tried to invite others, but they were all rejected."
August said, paused slightly and said, "Once I saw Sir Gamp looking at Snape from a distance, showing a weird smile."
"He noticed Snape?" Voldemort asked confused.
"Perhaps he has never trusted Snape. Master, the Silent People are a very strict organization. I have never seen someone like Snape join at such an old age," August said.
Voldemort nodded, of course he knew how Snape joined, because that was his introduction.
But it seems that Snape didn't do well among the silent people.
Also, with his character, he is not popular among the Death Eaters and the Order of the Phoenix. Now, how can he get along well among the Silent People who have stricter rules?
"Do you think you have completely deceived him?" Voldemort looked at August and asked.
August frowned and thought for a moment, then shook his head and said, "I don't think, Master, Snape is smart. I think he can see that I am a pawn you arranged beside him."
"But he still invited you and said a lot, didn't he?" Voldemort said.
August nodded and asked, "Do you suspect that he did it on purpose?"
"No doubt, August, he did it on purpose." Voldemort said with a smile.
"Then why did he do this? He is obviously full of fear of that organization." August asked in confusion.
"Because he is a real Slytherin, August, and we Slytherins never play at the gambling table of fate." Voldemort smiled.
August's expression became a little weird, and he still didn't seem to understand.
"I wonder why Snape became a triple agent?" Voldemort asked, "and took the initiative to reveal his status?"
"Yes, Master, I don't know what he means by doing this. He should know that it will only make him lose your trust in him." August said.
"The goals are different, August. You have your own beliefs and pursuits, and he has abandoned everything. He only wants the safety of Harry Potter, and wants to ensure the safety of that child..."
Voldemort laughed "haha" twice and did not continue.
August already understood what Voldemort meant.
Keeping Harry Potter safe was not about pleasing the Dark Lord.
As we all know, the person who wants the child's life the most is his master.
"Actually, he doesn't have to do this. I'm not in the mood to compete with a child."
Voldemort smiled and shook his head, and then said, "But no matter what, the Observer finally showed his flaws, which is a good thing for us."
"Yes, Master, the enemies hidden in the dark are the most terrifying, but once they stand in the sun, they can only be at your disposal." August bowed and said.
Voldemort smiled and nodded, accepting August's compliment without any humility.
