Honghuang: Guanjiangkou storytelling, Chang'e tears

217, the golden cicada asks the Buddha, the Western aspirations are all vain

This burial is not hidden there!

As soon as Li Tong's words came out, all the immortals were stunned.

What does this mean?

However, after a moment, they realized that they must have heard wrongly. The person Li Tong was going to talk about this time was called San Zang, not San Zang.

For a moment, the Star Reaching Tower became quiet. Many listeners looked at the storyteller on the high platform and thought about the profound meaning of this mere word difference.

burial!

Most people would not put such a vicious and sinister word in their name.

Marshal Tianpeng had a strange feeling in his heart just now, a bit like the strange feeling he had when he heard the name of Monkey King, the Monkey King.

This made him suspicious, and he looked at Li Tong in surprise.

But this was only a matter of a moment. He himself didn't have much opinion about the name Sanzong.

After all, no matter how you say it, whether it is a person from the Western religion or any other Taoist, they are all foreign beings and have little to do with him.

At this time, it sounded like it was because of Li Tong's story that he was allowed to join in the fun.

It does not allow him to go too deep into reality,

But for some reason, the unknown feeling in his body always makes Marshal Tianpeng feel a chill in his back, and he feels a bit startled.

The Great Heavenly Lord was also frowning and thinking.

Whether he is buried or not has little to do with him, but he is the person least likely to be associated with the West and become what Li Tong calls a great supernatural being.

Even though that person exists in a foreign world, if he doesn't like it, he just doesn't like it. There is no reason.

Those members of the demon clan with surly temperaments are naturally even more unacceptable.

In the mind of Demon King Baize, who came from a place of seclusion, how could the Monkey King, who is also a demon clan like them, have a master who belongs to the Western religion?

Although the only Demon Emperors in his mind were Emperor Jun and Donghuang Taiyi, after learning about the existence of Sun Wukong from Li Tong, he also admired him deeply.

Anyway, they all belong to the Monster Clan. Although they do not exist in one realm, they still make the Monster Clan's prestige resound throughout the heavens.

But why should someone who may be related to Western religions be the teacher of their strong demon race!

At this time, Li Tong's words made them feel much relieved.

Regardless of what happened to these three burials, as long as they have nothing to do with the Western religion that treats them as mounts.

Everyone in the audience had their own thoughts, and then they all turned their attention to Li Tong.

Waiting for his explanation.

Li Tong spoke:

"Back when the Three Burials were not called the Three Burials, he was still a young novice monk in Lingshan Mountain."

When everyone heard this, they all frowned.

Sure enough, after thinking about it for a long time, this person still couldn't escape his connection with the Western religion.

well!

Everyone sighed in their hearts: "I hope this West is not as shameless as the Western religion in the ancient times!"

They tried not to express their displeasure and continued to listen.

However, the second saint Zhunti, who was hiding his face, had a bad premonition in his heart.

The next direction of the plot may not go as they wish.

Li Tong ignored the changes in their expressions and continued:

"Jin Chan urinates and lives in Lingshan, worshiping Buddha devoutly, but unlike other monks, he has many questions in his heart. One day he saw the Buddha in front of him..."

"I asked the Buddha, did you say that when you attained supreme Bodhi, the place you lived in had immeasurable and unimaginable merit and splendor. There were no prisons, hungry ghosts, beasts, flying squirming insects, etc., and all living beings in the three realms would no longer exist.

Fallen into evil, but why are there so many people dying of hunger under the Lingshan Mountain?"

"I ask the Buddha, you said that when you became a Buddha, all sentient beings in the worlds of the ten directions would have bodies that would never change or deteriorate when they were reborn in your land of bliss. But why are there mountains of bones in the Western land and rivers of flesh and blood?"

...

"You said that when you become a Buddha, you wish that your light will be immeasurable and illuminate all Buddha lands in the ten directions. The light will definitely surpass all Buddha lights and be thousands of billions of times better than the light of the sun and the moon. But why does the light of Lingshan never illuminate the western land?

Any cents?”

"I asked the Buddha, you said that when you become a Buddha, your life span will be immeasurable, and the life span of hundreds of millions of living beings in Lingshan will also be as immeasurable as yours."

"But...why do the people who kowtow at the foot of Lingshan keep falling down every day?"

The young Jin Chan asked the Buddha forty-eight questions and waited sincerely for the Buddha's answers.

However, it only caused an extremely calm silence.

The Buddha was speechless, so he could not answer.

When many immortals heard such questions, they seemed to have thought of something, and then they were all stunned.

Thinking about it, why do they look so familiar?

The question raised by Jin Chan in Li Tong's mouth is not the great wish that the two sages of the West made to the way of heaven in order to become enlightened.

Thinking back to ancient times, the two sages of Western religions were extremely envious when they saw Nuwa becoming a saint through her merits in creating human beings, but they could not imitate her.

Later, I saw that the Three Pure Ones were successively using the method of establishing religion to realize the emergence of Taoism, so I followed their example and established the Western religion.

Maybe they think that since they are all disciples of Hongjun and have learned the method of killing three corpses and obtained the Hongmeng Purple Qi, they can naturally do what the Three Pure Ones can do.

However, what they did not expect was that although everyone took the same path to become a saint, their inner conditions were completely different!

The Supreme Being founded the Human Religion. Although he only had one disciple, he passed down the Golden Elixir Dao in the name of the Human Religion so that all living beings could practice it.

Therefore, he received a large amount of luck blessing from the human race, so he became a saint.

However, Yuanshi Tianzun and Tongtian Cult Leader took a different path. Their sect was not alone. They had countless famous disciples who were connected by good luck, so they successfully attained enlightenment and became saints.

So what does the West have?

With the barren land of the West alone, not to mention luck, even the mortal disciples of the Western religion cannot be deceived, let alone the two of them.

Therefore, there was a mistake in taking the lead and following the path of Sanqing enlightenment.

Fortunately, these two people were quick-thinking and made a pledge to Heaven and made forty-eight great aspirations.

To put it simply, the two of them used a forty-eight-page future blueprint to deceive Heaven into seeking the position of a Heavenly Saint.

And I promise that after taking this position, I will build the place well and make it bigger and stronger.

This incident also became a joke at the time.

But who would have thought that in the world called Black Myth, there would be something similar to the Forty-Eight Great Aspirations.

It's just that it didn't come from the mouth of the Buddha, but from the mouth of the little novice monk. It was as if his soul was being tortured, and he directly asked the golden Buddha speechless.

You said, what is this?

The ordinary listeners here may not be able to taste it, but those gods and gods are not stupid!

After thinking about it for a while, they suddenly realized that this meant that the Buddha in that world was just talking nonsense!

The forty-eight great aspirations mentioned above are just something they use to deceive the way of heaven. After using them, they abandon them and have no intention of realizing them.

The Western religion in this world is a complete liar from the beginning to the end!

Immediately afterwards, these immortals couldn't help but think about the two saints in the Western Spiritual Mountain. Those great ambitions they made out of desperation were probably also deceiving the way of heaven!

Otherwise, how can those exaggerated words in the ambition be realized?

Thinking like this, my contempt for those two people from the West became even more intense.

But thinking like this, countless immortals and gods can't help but admire these two people. They can even deceive the way of heaven. If they had this ability at the beginning, they wouldn't have passed countless Huiyuan, and they were still a big Luo, neither up nor down.

of.

Regardless of the divergent thoughts of these immortals and gods, listening to Li Tong's slow introduction, the expressions of Zhunti and the two people gradually became ugly, and the faint smile did not disappear, but hung stiffly on their faces.

At the same time, they seemed to feel a chill in their bodies, as if they had lost something...

On the stage, Li Tong continued.

"On this day, the Buddha was giving a sermon, and the Bodhisattva who sat down listened attentively. However, as a disciple of the Buddha, Jin Chan dozed off in full view of everyone!"

Everyone was stunned for a moment and then relieved.

Needless to say, these hypocritical beings who claim to be Buddhas cannot even explain their own great aspirations clearly and implement them.

So what's the use of listening to the so-called true scriptures they say now?

It just adds to the confusion.

"But if he does this blatantly, Jin Chan may be targeted by the Buddha."

"Yes, the immortals and gods in that world are not good people. I'm afraid this golden cicada will not end well."

...

Because of the two sages of China and the West, the immortals and gods originally had no good opinion of the Western religion. Now, they became disgusted when they heard about the evil deeds done by the Chinese and Western religions in foreign lands.

But now, looking at the changing faces in front of me, and savoring the story of Jin Chan, I gradually have a different view of this little novice monk.

He is different from other monks!

He is a very thoughtful and interesting person, so they don't want this kid to die soon.

So everyone was involved in it at this moment, as if they were one of the many monks in front of the Buddha at this moment, listening to the Buddha's useless nonsense.

I don’t want to hear it, but I can’t do anything about it.

Looking at the unique golden cicada, I felt a little fond of it.

At the same time, Li Tong's tone changed.

"Then....."

He seemed to sigh and said in a low voice:

"Then he was reincarnated, and the Buddha thought that he had too many problems and was not enough to meet his expectations."

"So, let him go to reincarnation and go to the mortal world to hone his Buddha nature until he realizes his true devotion to the Buddha, which is when he becomes a Buddha."

Upon hearing this, everyone nodded slowly, seeming to agree.

Although there is some shame in the so-called Buddha General Jin Chan's method of forcing reincarnation, it must be said that this method is very common.

Even among their disciples, there are many who have insufficient foundation and weak Taoist heart. They can only sharpen their Taoist heart and realize their true self through reincarnation after life.

But at the same time, there are also some doubts.

When they sit down as disciples to go through reincarnations and tribulations, they have already achieved a foundation of cultivation, at least they have attained the level of soul.

Only in this way can the true spirit find itself again and again in reincarnation.

Only in this way can we forge an extremely tenacious heart of questioning through life after life.

But this Jin Chan is still a little novice monk, he has not even started to practice, he has no cultivation at all, and more importantly, he has no soul yet!

Without the soul, it means that he cannot recall his past events and cannot know why he is reincarnated.

This means that every reincarnation is a new beginning, and it is all useless work!

No matter how much insights and gains I gained in the previous life, they cannot be accumulated into the next life. What is the point of doing this?

For a moment, many immortals and gods narrowed their eyes and noticed something was wrong.

As for what is hidden inside, they cannot guess at this time. I am afraid that only the Buddha who drove the golden cicada into reincarnation and the storyteller Li Tong can know.

But in their feeling, this so-called reincarnation is probably not to sharpen the golden cicada, but more like to wash away something through reincarnation again and again.

What to wash away?

Could it be that we are questioning the Buddha?

Along with their questions, Li was able to continue telling.

Everyone's thoughts and the scenes in front of them gradually led to Jin Chan's reincarnation again and again.

First life.

Jin Chan is destined to be a Buddhist, and he cannot escape this fate even if he is reincarnated.

In this life, he is still a little monk. After he was born, he was abandoned by his family at the gate of the temple. He was adopted by a monk and became a monk from an early age.

The memory of the previous life no longer exists, but it still develops according to the same trajectory. He also has an unusual Buddhist heart.

When he was eighteen years old, he said bluntly to his master:

"You can't teach me what I want to learn."

"Let's go to Lingshan and ask the Buddha!"

So, he embarked on the road heading west to Lingshan.

All they saw along the way was decay, mountains of corpses, and victims everywhere. They didn't even have the strength to escape the disaster, so they could only slowly fall down on the roadside. It was so miserable.

Jin Chan was stunned. This was different from the description in the Buddhist scriptures of a paradise at the foot of Lingshan Mountain.

The closer we get to Lingshan, the worse the situation becomes.

Even the tragic scene of Yi Zi cannibalizing himself, compared with the image of Lingshan in the scriptures, is completely the difference between heaven and hell.

The vultures roared in the sky, and a squawking sound was heard.

In the distance, the divine light of Lingshan Mountain is shining, like the residence of the gods high above, not falling down to earth.

Jin Chan was confused, and there was a huge conflict between what he saw along the way and what he learned in his heart.

At this moment, a vision suddenly appeared in front of his eyes. A great Buddha appeared in the vast Buddha light on Lingshan Mountain, and a majestic Buddha's voice came from it.

"Jin Chan, since you are a disciple of Buddhism, you should follow the example of Buddha, cutting your flesh and throwing out your blood to save the common people."

Jin Chan, who had a conflict between reality and his ideals, turned pale, but when he heard such words, a voice seemed to resound in his heart:

"Yes, even if I am a disciple of Buddhism, if I don't go to hell, who will?"

Therefore, he cut off his own flesh and blood without hesitation, threw it into the sky, and fed it to the vultures, just to save the victims not far away.

In the end, only a clean and white skeleton was left on the barren plain.

No one knows that his name is Jin Chan, and he went to Lingshan to inquire about the Buddha!
