HP Approaches the Magic World

Chapter 744 The Chronicles of Narnia

Harry pressed the "down" button closest to his hand, and the elevator appeared in front of him with a click. The golden fence slid to both sides, making a deafening, reverberating clang, and then he rushed out with people.

Go in.

He poked button nine, and the fence slammed shut.

The elevator made a rattling sound, which was very harsh. Harry had not noticed it was so noisy when he came here with Mr. Weasley during the day.

He believed that such noise would attract the attention of every security guard in the building, but it didn't.

When the elevator stopped, only the cold woman's voice said: "Department of Mysteries."

The grating opened and they stepped out into the corridor, where there was no movement except for the nearest torch flickering in the air stirred up by the elevator.

Harry turned towards the plain black door.

For months he had only seen it in his dreams, and now he was finally here.

"let's go."

He whispered and led everyone forward along the corridor. Luna followed behind him, opening her mouth slightly and looking around.

"Well, listen here, everyone," said Harry, stopping less than six feet from the Black Door, "Maybe there should be a few people here - lookouts, and -"

"But if something happens, how can we notify you?"

Ginny raised her eyebrows and asked, "You might be somewhere far away?"

"We're all coming with you, Harry," Neville said.

"Let's keep going." Ron said firmly.

Harry still didn't want to take them all with him, but it seemed he had no choice.

He turned to the black door, walked over to it, and just as in the dream, it opened.

Then he crossed the threshold, followed by the others.

They were standing in a huge circular room.

Everything here, including the ceiling and floor, is black;

Some identical black doors with no marks or handles are separated from each other - some distances are embedded in the surrounding black walls, and some candles with blue flames are dotted on the walls, cold, flickering and weak candlelight

It is reflected on the bright marble floor, making the floor look like a pool of black water.

"Someone close the door?" Harry muttered.

When Neville did as he was told, he really regretted giving the order.

Without the narrow beam of light pouring in from the corridor behind them, the place became darker, so that for a while they could only see the flickering blue candlelight on the wall and their reflection on the floor.

terrible reflection.

In Harry's dream, he always walked through the room without hesitation, went straight to the door opposite the entrance, and then continued walking forward.

However, there are twelve doors around it now.

Just as he was staring at the several doors in front of him, trying to decide which one he should enter, there was a loud rumbling sound, the candle began to move to one side, and the circular wall rotated.

Hermione grabbed Harry's arm, as if she was worried that the floor would move, but the floor didn't move.

A few seconds later, the blue flames around them blurred into similar halos as the wall rapidly rotated. Then, just as suddenly as at the beginning, the rumble disappeared, and everything returned to calm.

Harry's eyes were flashing with blue lights, but other than that, he could see nothing.

"What is this for?"

Ron asked in a worried whisper.

"I guess this is to make it difficult for us to figure out which door we came in through," Ginny replied in a low voice.

Harry realized immediately that she was right: now it was harder for him to identify where the exit was than to find a black ant on the dark floor;

Among the twelve doors around, any door may be the one they need to go through.

"How should we get out?" Neville asked anxiously.

"That question is not important now," Harry said excitedly, blinking as he tried to clear the blue lines in his eyes and gripping the wand tighter. "We don't need to go out until we find Sirius -

—”

"Don't shout his name loudly!"

Hermione said quickly.

In fact, she didn't need to remind him, Harry knew intuitively that he should stay as quiet as possible.

"Where should we go, Harry?"

"I don't--"

Harry swallowed his mouth as soon as he opened his mouth,

“In those dreams, I went down the elevator, walked through a door at the end of the corridor, and came into a dark room—that was the question—and then I walked through another door into a dark room.

There are some sparkling houses. We should try some doors,"

He said hurriedly, "When I see that house, I will know how to leave..."

He walked straight to the door facing him, followed closely by the others.

He put his left hand on the cold, bright door, raised his wand, and was ready to rush towards the door the moment it opened, and then he pushed it.

The door opened easily.

The chandelier hung low on a golden chain from the white ceiling. After experiencing the darkness of the first room, this square room seemed very bright, although there was no hazy, flickering light that Harry had seen in his dream.

The room was almost empty, with only one table. In the center of the room, there was a huge glass tank filled with dark green liquid, big enough for them to swim in it; many white things were slowly floating in it.

Come and drift.

"What is this?" Ron whispered.

"have no idea."

"Is it a fish?" Ginny asked softly.

"Aka Crisis Maggot!"

Luna said excitedly, "Dad said the Ministry of Magic keeps -"

"wrong."

Hermione's tone was a little strange. She walked over and looked through the container, "This is the brain."

"Brain?"

"Yes?? Why do they raise such things?"

Harry came to stand beside her in front of the water tank.

It was absolutely true, he was so close, there was no mistaking it.

They appeared and disappeared in the depths of the green liquid, shining eerily like slimy cauliflower.

"Everyone, get out of here."

Harry said: "This one is not. Let's try another door."

"There are a lot of doors here too." Ron said, pointing to the surrounding walls.

"In my dream, I walked through the black room and entered the second one," he said. "I think we should go back and try again from there."

They quickly returned to the dark round room; instead of the blue candlelight, those terrible brain images swam before his eyes.

"Wait a minute!" Hermione screamed just as Luna was about to close the door to the brain room behind her, "the mark appears!"
