HP Approaches the Magic World

Chapter 85: Meeting with Professor Dumbledore

Jon took some time to go to the library in the morning.

Of course he is not here to read books, but to see people.

As the end of the term approaches, the younger Ravenclaw students will be studying in the library to prepare for the final exam.

Eddie and Bain are naturally here too.

It's just that they don't seem to have anything wrong with them.

This is not difficult to understand,

Eddie was hiding in the back,

Bain is being controlled and doesn't even know what's going on.

Another important point is that Jon used the Disguise Curse at that time.

I guess I was targeted because of this.

Maybe Dumbledore also knew that the three of him were in the secret passage at that time, but he didn't reveal it out of kindness.

With such a powerful power, it would be weird if he couldn't discover it.

Moreover, Jon had something else in mind.

Helga told Dumbledore about the Black Musician. Snape was also in the principal's office at that time, so Dumbledore asked Snape to check the identity of the Black Musician.

After Jon overheard this conversation, Dumbledore and Snape apparated away. Jon was busy dealing with Bane's affairs and did not think of this.

Now that I think about it carefully, maybe Dumbledore has discovered his identity.

With confidence in his heart, Jon was no longer afraid of facing Dumbledore.

Times have changed, and although it has only been less than a year, Jon is no longer the child who worried about this and that before he entered school.

In the past, I had no one to rely on, and in the wizarding world, I only had my grandmother’s family as relatives;

But now, he has reached the level of a third-year student.

Even in the Middle Ages, he still had the strength of a "teacher".

Although he is still very different from the legendary wizard, in the end, he is already different from those children in the wizarding world.

What's more, with Helga here, he is no longer helpless at Hogwarts.

Even Harry Potter, whom Dumbledore valued so much, did not have a legendary wizard planning or helping him behind the scenes. He just acted in accordance with Dumbledore's orders and will.

Bella and Penello were sitting in the corner of the library, engrossed in writing something. Jon glanced quietly from the door and did not go in to disturb them.

Now that he opened the gift, he knew that what Bella told was a lie.

However, Bella was just a messenger, and the person who was actually hinted by the black magic should be Penelo.

This matter is not difficult to think about. Jon thought about it for a while and figured out what the reason was.

Third-year students can go to Hogsmeade on the weekends, and the things and hints should be transferred to Penello from that place.

Thinking of the dark wizard who had been hovering around Hogwarts for so long, I guessed that there must be a dark wizard's stronghold in Hogsmeade.

But guesses are just guesses after all.

When you see Dumbledore, tell him about this.

When leaving the library and going to the restaurant for lunch, Jon received a reply from Professor Sprout.

Professor Sprout was very interested in Jon's initiative to visit him. After all, she had always called Jon here when she had something to do, and every time Jon took the initiative to come over, there must be something very important.

"This matter is indeed important."

At around two o'clock in the afternoon, Jon sat in Professor Sprout's office and took out the wooden box containing the pocket watch from his arms.

"I would like to meet Professor Dumbledore, or please help me deliver this thing to him."

"Meet Headmaster Dumbledore?"

Professor Sprout was very surprised when he heard this. He had never heard of any first-year student wanting to meet with the principal in private.

"What is this thing?"

Professor Sprout took the wooden box. Although she did not open it, she was not good at this aspect of magic, but given her strength, she could still feel the cold feeling coming from inside.

This feeling is not a good feeling.

So the witch stared at Jon, wanting to know the answer.

Of course, Jon couldn't say that this was an alchemical item that stored dark magic. Professor Sprout was a trustworthy person, but he couldn't involve this kind witch in everything.

So I have to be a little more alarmist in my words.

"Professor, I seem to have been targeted by a dark wizard recently."

After a while, Jon left Professor Sprout's office.

He didn't pay special attention to Professor Sprout's strange look, he just thought that his words surprised the witch.

After Jon left, Professor Sprout touched the small wooden box on the table.

"I thought this matter was over, but..."

The witch looked at the slightly ajar door, sighed, stood up, and put the wooden box into her arms.

"What a troublesome little guy."

Professor Sprout looked at the wall on the left. There were several portraits hanging on it, which were portraits of the recent heads of Hufflepuff.

"Acalido, can you help me see if Principal Dumbledore is in the office now?"

"certainly."

The witch in the portrait nodded quietly and walked out of the frame with her skirt in hand.

This witch, Akalido Landric, served as the principal of Hogwarts for five years at the end of the 18th century, and was also the former head of Hufflepuff.

In the office of each college dean, there are one or two similar portraits hanging, such as the portrait of Principal Phoenix Black in Snape's office.

These portraits serve as normal communication channels between deans and principals.

If there is nothing special.

Akalido came back quickly and brought back Dumbledore's reply.

"Pomona, the principal said you can go over now. He just has time. The password is lemon candy."

"Okay, thank you, Akalido."

Sprout turned around and walked out the door, heading upstairs.

Naturally, the guardian stone statue at the door of the principal's office would not embarrass the witch. After giving the password, he moved away and let the person go.

"Oh, good afternoon, Pomona."

Dumbledore was enjoying a cup of honey tea in his office when he saw Professor Sprout walking in with a stiff face and thought something big had happened.

"What's the matter? Why are you so panicked?"

"That's right, Albus."

Professor Sprout, who had just finished climbing the stairs, calmed his breathing and placed the box in his arms on Dumbledore's desk.

"Just now, Jon Smith came to me and gave me this thing. He said that a dark wizard was watching him."

Dumbledore opened it, took a look, and nodded.

"Nice alchemy item, where did this thing come from?"

"I didn't ask for more details, but Jon said he wanted to meet with you. Do you think so?"

"No problem, just ask him to come over at seven o'clock in the evening."
