I dominate the magic world by farming

Chapter 454 The Misunderstood Caravan

The snow gradually melted, the earth returned to warmth, and the sky sometimes drizzled, and sometimes the spring breeze blew.

Everything gradually wakes up, buds appear on the branches, and there is no longer a single bird call in the forest, but various bird calls resound through the forest.

In the conference hall, Alex folded his hands and lowered his eyes slightly.

Outside the hall door, Harland slowly walked into the conference hall.

"Legion Commander Alex, we have finished selecting soldiers who are good at planting!"

Alex raised his head, "Very good, take them to plant wheat on the reclaimed land, and the Corps will assist you!"

Harland nodded slightly, turned and left.

"Planting wheat should be left to professionals. The Corps cannot always plant farmland!"

Cross's voice sounded.

Viserys and Niels shook their heads in deep understanding.

Felix remained expressionless and made no comment.

"The Corps' planting of wheat is only temporary!" Alex raised his head slightly and looked outside the hall, "When the magic circle is completed, the caravan will go out of the outpost trade and buy some slaves to plant farmland!"

"Can!"

Time flies by, and the remaining snow from winter has completely disappeared. The earth has changed into light green spring clothes, and everything is flourishing and full of vitality.

The cultivated land has been planted with high-yielding wheat seeds, and green shoots sprout from the dark black soil.

The city wall of the outpost was raised a large section again, and a sense of security enveloped everyone, making everyone feel calmer than ever before.

In the conference hall, Director Havel put on a light, cool robe.

Alex asked: "Captain Trask, when will the wall be completed?"

Trask, the captain of the infrastructure team, thought for a moment and responded: "It will probably take April or May!"

"The progress of building the city wall cannot be slowed down!"

"clear!"

Alex's eyes moved and looked at Magician Slade.

"Slade Mage, where is the magic circle?"

Wizard Slade smiled calmly and said: "The main part of the magic circle at the outpost will be completed tomorrow!"

Alex asked: "After the main part is completed, can the magic circle be activated?"

"Yes, but the defense effect is poor!"

"It doesn't matter, as long as it can start!"

Alex glanced at everyone present, "The defense construction of the outpost is generally completed, let's move on to the next plan!"

Director Havel's voice sounded, "The caravan is ready and can set off at any time!"

"Leave three corps to guard the outpost and two corps to protect the Trade Chamber. Tell us what you think!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Felix immediately said: "If you don't like to take care of the farming, I will stay at the outpost and take care of the farming before buying slaves!"

"I will protect the caravan heading to the Magic City!" Cross then said,

Alex nodded and looked at Viserys and Niers, "What about you? Do you want to stay at the outpost, or protect the caravan heading to the Magic City?"

Nils spread his hands and said nonchalantly: "I can do it, Alex, you can arrange it!"

"Me too!"

Hearing this, Alex pondered for a while and decided: "Nils, you and Cross will protect the caravan to the Magic City and set off tomorrow."

Nils and Cross shook their heads in unison.

"Viserys, Felix, you stay with me at the outpost!"

When the meeting ended, everyone stood up and left the conference hall.

Early the next morning, when the sky was dark, there was movement in the outpost.

"Director Javier!"

"General Cross!"

Director Havel turned his eyes slightly and said, "General Niels!"

At this moment, Alex's figure walked quickly from a distance.

Director Havel greeted: "General Alex!"

Alex nodded slightly, his eyes meeting Cross's.

"Be careful and don't let any conflict break out!"

Cross waved his arm, "Don't worry, I have my own sense of discretion!"

Hearing this, Alex said no more.

Cross led the corps in the front, followed by the caravan, and behind the team was Niels' corps.

Looking at the retreating team, Alex withdrew his gaze and turned back to the conference hall.

In a slightly shabby hall.

Viserys asked, "Gone?"

"Let's go!"

Alex looked around and didn't see Felix, "Where's Felix?"

Hearing this, Viserys's calm face showed a wry smile, "He went to work in the fields himself!"

Viserys shook his head with a smile and joked: "I seriously doubt that he made the wrong choice to join the army. He obviously prefers farming!"

Alex pouted, noncommittal.

"The caravan has left, so we can't be idle and strengthen patrols at the outpost."

After a pause, Alex said in a low tone: "Each of our two corps will allocate some manpower to assist Captain Trask and speed up the construction of the city wall! As for Felix, let him work hard at farming!"

Viserys shook his head up and down!

Alex raised his eyes slightly, "I don't know why, I always feel uneasy!"

"What does it feel like? Something will happen to the caravan?"

Alex shook his head, "No, I feel like something will happen to the Eastern Continent!"

Viserys lowered his head thoughtfully and said nothing.

The East Continent is indeed a bit strange. Villages are frequently transformed into zombies, but the magic spirit cannot find any clues!
