Knight with Wand

Chapter 39 Hostages have been evacuated

The brief exchange ended before arousing the suspicion of the guards outside.

Putting down their visors again to hide their faces, Leon and Rohak silently stepped aside.

Azarian poked his head out from the corner and shouted out the door in a muffled voice.

"Sir, I don't understand Feru's language. This little golden-haired girl is chirping as if something is wrong with you." (Uria)

Outside the door, Knight Cantadar, who had just uncorked his wine and drank a few sips, looked into the room in confusion.

He smacked his lips and put down the wine barrel in his hand, stood up, grabbed his halberd and axe, and walked into the big house with his attendants.

The knight impatiently yelled at the blond girl in the corner: "Little girl, what's the matter?" (Feru language)

Looking at the guard walking in, Olivia took a deep breath, prepared herself mentally, stood up and walked towards him.

The knight's heavy body took a step back and immediately leveled his halberd.

The two attendants beside him also lowered their spears and pointed them at the approaching girl, alert and vigilant.

Seeing their reactions as if they were facing a formidable enemy, Leon on the side was slightly stunned, and quickly bumped Lohark with his elbow without any trace.

The three of them quickly drew out their swords and pointed the long blade at Olivia, pretending to be on guard.

They haven't revealed their identity yet, so they have to pretend to follow the knight's reaction.

It was just a room full of six heavily armed men surrounding a young girl, fighting each other so nervously, the scene was really funny.

"I have decided to agree to your leader's request, but I have conditions!"

A slight blush appeared on Olivia's cheeks. Even if it was just a lie, such words still made her deeply annoyed.

"When my father wakes up, he must be released." The girl closed her eyes and gritted her teeth and continued.

"Haha, what do I mean? You've been so obedient and you're done. The Baron wants to have sex with you, but he doesn't want to have sex with your father."

Seeing that the girl softened her attitude after just one meal, the knight with the halberd couldn't help but smile contemptuously. It seemed that no matter what kind of chaste and fierce girl she was, she would obey as long as she could grasp her weak point.

"Having said that, I don't have the right to make a decision on your terms. I'd better wait for the Baron to make a decision."

The knight raised his halberd and pointed at the three mercenaries: "Well, it's up to you. Go and report to the Baron that this little girl has agreed to sleep with you." (Urian)

Although she couldn't understand the other party's words, Olivia could guess that the other party was instructing Leon and the others to go out and deliver the message.

The girl hurriedly gritted her teeth and interrupted: "Wait for your leader to come here? Do you think I would do that kind of thing here?"

"Ah? Otherwise? You little bitch is full of shit. Don't you have a room upstairs? Do you still want us to build you a new house to marry the Baron?" The knight with the halberd mocked impatiently.

Olivia turned her head away hesitantly. She pursed her lips and gripped the hilt of the sword tightly with her fingers. She tried her best to suppress the shame, anger and shame in her heart: "Take me to see your master. At least, don't let me be with my father." Wherever you are, talk about these despicable things."

"Pretentious."

Seeing the blond girl trying her best to hold back her anger, the halberd-wielding knight didn't want to push her anymore. If pushed, he was afraid that the girl would get angry and draw his sword to kill herself.

He killed the beauty that the baron fell in love with, and he still had to suffer.

"Okay, but since you are willing to compromise, please let me use the sword first. I will not let you get close to the Baron with a weapon again." The knight with the halberd ordered the knight with an undeniable order.

Olivia picked up the long sword and frowned. This was not part of the planned plan.

But thoughts were swirling in her little head, and she immediately pretended to be unwilling, and threw the weapon aside seemingly casually.

The long sword fell to the floor with a clang and slipped to Leon's feet.

Understanding the situation, Leon pointed the blade of his right hand at the girl in an alert manner, while quickly picking up the long sword in front of him and pretending to disarm and keep it.

The ignorant knight had no doubt at all: "That's pretty much it."

Seeing that the girl had completely lost her weapon, the halberd-wielding knight felt relieved. With her bare hands, she was no longer a threat to him.

But it's not enough.

The knight took a few steps forward, put the ax blade against the girl's neck, and then ordered to the attendants and mercenaries on the side: "Go find me a rope and tie this little girl's hands." (Urian)

Olivia was held by the ax blade and panicked.

This sentence was not spoken in Ferru. She couldn't understand what the knight was going to do, and naturally Leon and Rohark on the side couldn't react.

But fortunately, among the few people there is Azarian who can understand.

The young man quickly looked around and caught sight of the hemp rope next to the pile of sacks not far away. He quickly ran over ahead of the other two knight attendants.

Olivia saw Azarian, disguised as an enemy, picking up the rope from over there, and couldn't help but turn to the knight in front of her and ask, "What are you going to do?"

"Do you really think I will let you approach the Baron freely? Little girl, don't think of me as a fool. Who knows if you are so good at fighting with bare hands?" the halberd-wielding knight joked.

Olivia glanced at Azarian who was walking around behind her. She calmed down and pretended to close her eyes in anger and cursed: "Coward."

"Coward? I want to send a man-eating beast to the Lord's bed. I'm just being cautious." The knight holding the halberd said with a shameless smile.

Azarian lowered his head silently, and quickly tied Olivia's wrists with a rope behind her.

Using the girl's body as a shield, he tied a hidden slipknot at the end of the noose at an angle that the knight couldn't see, and then used the rope end that would open with a pull to quietly poke the girl's palm.

Olivia understood the meaning, and she grabbed the slipknot rope end and covered the knot with her folded hands.

Leon saw it clearly from the side and felt relieved.

"Is that enough? How about tying my feet too?" The girl opened her eyes, looked at the knight with contempt, and laughed coldly.

"Hahaha, that's not necessary, let's go." The knight holding the halberd smiled and raised the axe blade.

He waved his hand to let the attendants hold the girl on both sides, and then looked at the three mercenaries next to him, pointed at one of them and ordered: "You stay and keep an eye on the unconscious old guy." (Uriah)

Lohak didn't understand the chatter of the Kantadar people, and his eyes behind the mask drifted to Azerien.

(Uriah) "What are you standing there for? Haven't you seen enough of this golden-haired chick? If the master tells you to stay, then stay!" Azerien pushed Lohak's shoulder fiercely with a bad attitude, raised his finger and pointed at the old blacksmith lying in the corner in the distance and shouted.

Although he also didn't know what his partner was shouting at him, Lohak saw Azerien's finger slightly tilted and pointed at the ground, gently moving, and immediately understood the hint, and nodded quickly, making a "ang ang" sound in his mouth.

This is also the only Uriah language he has learned so far.

Lohak was left alone to take care of the unconscious old blacksmith, and several people surrounded the blonde girl and escorted her out of the house.

Leon held Olivia's long sword in one hand and held the waist knife on the girl's shoulder in the other hand. He glanced at the house behind him, feeling nervous and fortunate at the same time.

Although there was a slight deviation from the plan that was temporarily conceived in a hurry, fortunately, it was successfully fooled.

What was even more surprising was that he didn't expect that the knight didn't let his squire stay to guard the blacksmith.

This saved the original step of finding an excuse to send someone back to steal the hostage.

In this way, they only have one target next.

Lohak stood by the door and watched the backs of the people leaving and disappearing into the corner of the street.

He turned his head and looked around.

Very good, there were no other Kantadar bastards, perhaps they were either resting or still doing evil.

After waiting for a few breaths in silence, and confirming that the people who left did not turn back, Lohak suddenly turned around and ran back to the big house.

Quickly coming to the unconscious old blacksmith, the boy lifted up his strong upper body and wanted to carry him out directly, but when he saw the sack under him, Lohak changed his mind.

He said in his heart: I'm sorry.

Picking up the big sack, the boy put the old blacksmith's whole body into it.

Slightly cutting a few small holes for ventilation, Lohak carried the sack of people like a kidnapper, swaggered out of the village house, and walked towards the place where the horse was hidden not far away.

At first glance, he looked no different from the Kantardar soldiers who had kidnapped women.

It was just that his sack was not filled with a crying girl, but a comatose old man.

Unfortunately, when he passed the corner, he ran into a few Kantardar soldiers.

(Uriah) "Hey, brother, what beauty are you carrying? And you're holding her with a sack to prevent people from seeing her?" A mercenary cavalryman greeted Lohak with a lewd smile.

Unable to understand the other party's words, Lohak suppressed his murderous intent, hid his ferocious expression behind the mask, nodded and made a simple "ang ang" in response.

Fortunately, those people had no intention of getting entangled, and they passed by Lohak at the alley.

Even among the brutal mercenaries who burned, killed, and looted, there were industry tacit understandings and unspoken rules.

They were all "comrades-in-arms" who had been following a boss through life and death for many years, killing and arson, and they would not touch the spoils of their comrades for no reason.

With his whole body tense and alert, Lohak turned into the small yard where the horse was tied, and immediately put the old blacksmith on his shoulder onto the horse's back.

Untying the reins, climbing onto the horse, Lohak drove the horse slowly out of the yard, and slipped out of the village at a leisurely pace.

Along the way, he met the patrolling Kantadar soldiers in time, and no one stopped Lohak, a "mercenary cavalry" who seemed to be looking for a place to vent his violence.

The old blacksmith in the sack quickly escaped from the village. At the moment when he was away from the fence of the house at the edge of the village, Lohak finally couldn't help but throw the reins and gallop into the woods not far away.

He drove the horse through the dense forest and ran far enough. After rushing over a low slope to hide his body, he reined in the horse and quickly took down the old blacksmith's sack.

After untying the sack, Lohak was relieved to see that the old man was still breathing steadily.

Olivia's father was temporarily safe, but the companions were still in the magic cave.

Without hesitation, he helped the old blacksmith to hide behind the grass on the slope, then he immediately mounted his horse and ran back towards the village.

He rode the bumpy horseback quickly through the shade of the trees.

Suddenly, he heard the whirring sound of the wind that could not be covered by the sound of the horse's hooves.

Lohak raised his head in confusion and looked into the distance.

When he saw the huge object flying across the sky in the distance, his eyes widened in surprise.
