Planting the Immortality Tree in the Wizarding World

Chapter 11 Primary Meditation Potion

Pharmacy (entry 63%)

Two weeks passed before he knew it. According to the professor's pace of teaching three times a week, Ronan had attended six classes.

He felt that he needed to find a prescription to practice.

So, he went to the Wild Deer Bar, found Paul, and asked Paul to get him a prescription and buy a set of medicine refining equipment.

Because he planned to make money by refining medicine, he asked Paul to get him a recipe for a primary meditation potion.

The primary meditation potion is given to wizard apprentices.

After taking it, the progress of practicing meditation will be accelerated.

"Elementary Meditation Potion?"

Paul was drinking fruit wine and his eyes were a little hazy. When he heard this, his eyes suddenly lit up:

"If you can refine the primary meditation potion, I can help you sell the extra parts."

"Okay." Ronan nodded, thinking that Paul was smart enough to have thought of this without him having to say anything.

Thinking of the business opportunities, Paul felt like he was getting a shot of blood. He purchased prescriptions, refining equipment and potion materials much faster than usual.

Soon, a piece of parchment recording the formula of a primary meditation potion, a set of potion refining equipment packed in a wooden box and stuffed in hay, and three boxes of potion materials were sent to Ronan's small attic by Paul.

After chatting with Paul for a while and driving him away, Ronan began to refine the medicine.

He first placed the parchment containing the recipe for the primary meditation potion on the flame of the candle and burned it.

After just a few glances, he memorized the entire recipe and could write it down exactly at any time.

Then, he opened the wooden box and took out the equipment for refining the medicine one by one.

A balance, a dark crucible, a copper ladle, a grinding bowl, a stone pestle, a small blast box...

Ronan laid out the equipment on the table.

Then, he opened the box containing the potion materials.

To refine the primary meditation potion, you need 5 grams of blood crystals of the Phantom Lizard, 5 grams of weirwood rhizomes, 8 grams of refreshing grass, and 3 petals of the soul flower.

Ronan didn't even use a scale, and directly used Hongmeng to control the weight error of each potion material within 0.001 grams.

He piled several stones on the table.

Place a small iron basin on the stone.

After pouring charcoal into it, sprinkle in sawdust to fill the gaps in the charcoal.

On top of the iron basin, an iron frame is placed.

Set up the crucible and pour in pure water.

He picked up the flint and fire steel and knocked it several times. A spark burst out from the collision point of the flint and fire steel and jumped into the iron basin where the charcoal was placed.

The sparks touched the wood chips and soon turned into a fire that spread in the iron basin.

After a while, the charcoal burned red.

A heat spread through the room.

Then, Ronan began to grind the potion ingredients.

He kept hitting the grinding bowl with the stone pestle, and the muffled sound echoed in the room.

After grinding each portion, he poured it into the crucible.

Not long after, all the potion powders of various colors entered the crucible.

Mixed together, it gives a strange dark green color.

After Ronan stirred the crucible five times with a ladle, he picked up the small manual blow box.

He held the two handles of the blower box with both hands, and slowly pressed the air outlet of the blower box against the charcoal fire.

He gave instructions to Hongmeng to analyze the temperature and changes of the medicine.

Sometimes a blower box is used to adjust the temperature, and sometimes a long-handled spoon is used to stir the medicine.

About half an hour later, Ronan refined the primary meditation potion.

The refined potion is a light green liquid with a slight luster.

He moved the stand away from the small brazier.

After the medicine cooled down slightly, he opened the corks of each medicine bottle, inserted the funnels one by one, and poured the medicine into them.

Three bottles of primary meditation potion are completed.

Ronan used Hongmeng to analyze the effectiveness of the potion, and there was no problem.

Ronan called out Hongmeng and looked at his own values.

If he is more proficient, he can refine multiple bottles of potion at the same time, and the speed will be faster.

‘Keep refining the medicine! ’

After Ronan put away the three bottles of primary meditation potion, he moved the unextinguished brazier back, placed the shelf, and continued to repeat the steps just now.

The next day, Ronan called Paul and asked him to take away twenty bottles of primary meditation potion.

"One day..."

Paul looked at the twenty bottles of primary meditation potions neatly placed on the table and couldn't believe his eyes.

He opened bottles of primary meditation potions and looked at them, a little doubtfully: "Can all these potions be used?"

He saw that the appearance of this primary meditation potion looked no different from ordinary potions.

But he couldn't guarantee how effective it would be.

After all, this was made by a beginner in pharmacy in one day.

"Ronan, I bought these twenty bottles with my own money first." Paul said:

"After I used it myself, I found that there was no problem. Then you can continue to refine it."

After that, he placed twenty bottles of primary meditation potion in a wooden box piled with hay and took it away.

Five days later, Paul visited Ronan again.

This time, he brought more potion ingredients.

"Ronan, you are really a genius in refining medicine!" Paul sighed:

"The twenty bottles of primary meditation potions you made are much better than those made by the third-level wizard apprentices in the academy!"

Ronan had learned from Paul before that primary meditation potions are easier to make and the profits are not high, so wizards above the level would not bother to make them.

So, the primary meditation potions supplied in the academy are all made by third-level wizard apprentices.

"But you can't make them so well in the future!" Paul continued:

"If the potions we sell are more effective than those made by those third-level wizard apprentices, there will be no market for primary meditation potions."

"This will affect their interests!"

"They are all descendants of wizard families, and I am just a down-and-out nobleman who can't beat them at all!"

"In the future, you will be sloppy in the refining process to reduce the efficacy. I will lower the price of the potion and sell it specifically to those people in the academy who have less money and could not afford the primary meditation potion before."

"Okay." Ronan agreed.

From then on, Ronan concentrated on refining primary meditation potions.

The sale of the potion was all handled by Paul.

Ronan heard from Paul that he had recruited a few younger brothers in the academy, who were helping them sell the potion.

Ronan delivered five batches of goods to Paul, a total of 100 bottles.

For each bottle, he could get a profit of one Valante silver coin.

According to the current exchange rate of 1:40 between Valante gold coins and silver coins.

In other words, he earned two Valante gold coins by selling potions.

‘And buying a storage ring costs 3,000 gold coins... After all, this elementary meditation potion is a potion that can be refined by wizard apprentices, and it is slow to earn profits from gold coins...’

Ronan thought to himself, if this is the case, I don’t know when I can earn 3,000 gold coins.

Just thinking about it, suddenly, a flash of inspiration came to his mind.

‘Who said that this potion is only sold in the academy? There is more than one wizard academy in the Kingdom of Valante, and there are other wild wizard apprentices who practice alone, why not sell it to them? ’

Thinking of this, Ronan went out to discuss the matter with Paul.
