Rebirth of the New Farmers in the 1980s
Chapter 2268 Emission Standards
As Huaguo's accession to the WTO draws near, some standards in line with international regulations have also begun to appear in Huaguo's industries.
For example, Beijing's "Light Vehicle Exhaust Pollutant Emission Standards" came into effect on January 1, 1999.
The "Exhaust Pollutant Emission Standards for Light Vehicles" stipulates that passenger vehicles with a maximum total mass of 2.5 tons or less among light vehicles shall implement this standard from January 1, 1999; Passenger vehicles and cargo vehicles shall implement this standard from January 1, 2001.
What kind of standard is this?
For the detection of pollutants emitted by light motor vehicles, the detection methods issued by the state and the emission detection methods stipulated in the "Exhaust Pollutant Emission Standards for Light Vehicles" shall be implemented. Units engaged in the testing of motor vehicle pollutant emissions must be approved by the State Environmental Protection Administration or the Environmental Protection Bureau of Beijing City, and be subject to supervision and inspection.
This is the fourth article of the regulation.
There is also a fifth article below: All units and individuals who purchase the above-mentioned motor vehicles in Beijing or apply for Beijing motor vehicle licenses for the above-mentioned motor vehicles must meet the standards stipulated by the state and this city. For vehicles that do not meet the standards and have not obtained a pollutant discharge certificate, the Municipal Public Security Traffic Management Bureau will not issue licenses.
That is to say, from January 1, 1999, the purchase of a passenger vehicle less than 2.5 tons must be approved by the State Environmental Protection Administration or the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau before issuing a license.
From January 1, 2001, the purchase of passenger and cargo vehicles of less than 3.5 tons must be approved by the State Environmental Protection Administration or the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau.
The popular explanation is that if you buy a car with a small displacement in Beijing, don't expect to get a license plate.
It is impossible for a carburetor engine to pass the standards set by the State Environmental Protection Administration or the Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau. Even if you pass, you will not be given a license.
After several months of investigation, the first batch of emission-qualified models was finally released.
Shenlong Automobile Co., Ltd. has three cars that meet the standard: Shenlong Fukang ZX1.4L, ZX1.6L and Shenlong Fukang 988.
Shanghai Volkswagen also has three models that meet the standards: all are Santana 2000, 330K8M, 330K8B, and 330K8D.
Changqi Volkswagen has seven models that meet the standard: five Jettas and two Audis.
Beijing Jeep Co., Ltd. has three types: two types of BJ202 and one type of BJ7250.
Changqi also has four Hongqi models that have qualified for compliance.
Changan Alto SC7080 also meets the standard.
Sanjiang Renault has five models.
At the bottom of this list is the only private enterprise Nanwan Automobile.
It can be said that Nanwan Motor has both gains and losses. The Panda and Light of Happiness, which were originally best-selling in Beijing, were swept away, but six other models entered the list of qualified models.
Among the seven models, there is one Qingfeng model, which is the NWQF1.3L model, three Xiongfeng models: NWXF1.8L, and NWXF1.8T; two Hurricane models: NWJFA and NWJFB.
In terms of the shortlisted vehicles alone, Nanwan cannot be said to be a loser.
Looking at the list, Wan Feng was neither happy nor disappointed.
Pandas can move to other cities below the second tier. The Light of Happiness itself is not prepared for first-tier cities like Beijing.
In a city like Beijing, the streets are full of micro-faces, which in itself is outrageous.
The Light of Happiness has been running in the majestic place of Beijing for several years, which is already taking advantage.
Its positioning is small trucks in rural areas, and its market in the future will be small cities below the third tier and vast rural areas.
As for the models that have already obtained the standard, it does not mean that they are safe, and they will be swept out like the Qingfeng car in two years.
However, if cars with large displacement want to enter first-tier cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in the future, they will all have to be equipped with EFI engines.
Although there was no problem before the second national championship in 2007, Wan Feng still planned to change his strategy on the engine ahead of time.
Take the initiative one step ahead.
Wan Feng made a decisive decision. Except for the small-displacement Panda and the Light of Happiness, all other vehicles have been converted to EFI engines since August 1, 1999. Whether it is direct injection or multi-point EFI, as long as it is injected. .
Carburetor engines are now only sold externally and will be completely phased out within three to five years.
As a result, various types of engines produced by the old factory and Wafang branch factory of Hongya Power Co., Ltd. for self-use began to be converted to export, and will gradually change to the production of EFI engines within two years.
The gasoline engines produced by Hongya Power's Innahe Branch and Development Zone are all converted to EFI engines for self-use.
The Nanwan Group itself is converting the engines of Wei's engine factory and Phoenix Mountain Engine Base to internal use.
After the Bohai Nanzuizi engine gearbox base is put into use in the future, some will be exported and some will be used by ourselves.
After the decree was issued, the engine manufacturers were in a hurry. Those who replaced and improved the production line and adjusted the sales channels were a bit like chickens flying like dogs.
But this is just a small adjustment, and calm can be completely restored in a month.
None of this matters to those engaged in car exports.
Lin Lairong is still sending all kinds of cars made in Nanwan to the Middle East, and now Yilang, Yilake, Afghan, and Zulia all have giant trade left behind. There are even Nanwan cars in several countries in West Asia.
Pickup trucks are naturally the biggest sellers in these countries. It can be said that most of the pickup trucks produced in West Bay are exported to the Middle East.
However, there are also other Nanwan cars in Yilang and Yilake, especially Yilang. As long as the cars running on the avenue are not products of the 1980s, almost all of them are Nanwan cars.
Ichilang is the most severely sanctioned country by the United States. Other countries sanctioned by the United States and its allies sometimes steal something and the United States will turn a blind eye, but Yilang can't.
Since Pahlavi was overthrown, Ichilang has been a thorn in the eyes of the United States and the Soviet Union this time.
Without the Soviet Union, it would become the biggest obstacle for the United States.
As long as it is from the Western camp, not even a single screw can get in.
Most of the cars produced are in western countries, and they don't sell them, which makes Nanwan cars much cheaper.
It is conservatively estimated that Juchuang Trading sells 60,000 to 70,000 cars a year.
These cars are boarded at Bohai Port and shipped directly to Yilang.
Unlike Juchuang Trading's goods that have to travel through mountains and rivers, Li Mingze seems to save a lot of trouble than Lin Lairong.
He just needs to transport the car to Dongdan Free Trade Zone, and then trade with people from Chao County.
However, things have a good side and a bad side, and the world is only in balance when good and bad depend on each other.
Although Li Mingze's business is easy, the risk is much higher than Juchuang Trading.
If Wan Feng hadn't vaccinated him in advance, Li Mingze might even have lost his wife now.
Because of Wan Feng's rigid rule that no one will deliver the money if he doesn't see it, Li Mingze won't lose it.
Chao County is also a country without much foreign exchange, and it is impossible to buy it with money. Li Mingze used what he learned from bartering with Wan Feng at Heihe Port and bartered with the people of Chao County.
He exchanged cars and trucks for coal, iron and copper in Chao County, and then sold them to the country, and the business was considered to be up.
