"Good... Just like that!" Said Sophie as she watched with excitement.

It was the first time she was witnessing such an invent, her curiosity was almost causing her to drool.

At least that was until-

"Hey... Xavier... It looks bright enough, stop transferring the energy. Picture the flow of energy being cut off from the cube."

Despite what she said, the intensity of the light being emitted quickly increasing, within seconds it had reached the point where they had to shut their eyes.

"X-Xavier...?" Sophie repeated with a worried look.

"It's not stopping."

Sophie's ears twitched. Her heart skipped a beat.

Xavier could feel his energy being sucked out of him at rapid rates. Even for him it was too much.

"Then hurry up and throw it away before it drains all your energy and kills you!"

Xavier began flailing his wide open hand around with the cube placed on top of it. The Cube was stuck to his hand.

"I can't! This fucking... It's really sucking everything out of me!" Xavier shouted as he watched the blood in the veins on the arm which held onto the cube being drained out.

Seeing as how he truly couldn't stop it, Sophie began to take action. She stretched out her and slammed it onto the wall beside the bed.

'You fucker... So, this is how you want to play it....' Xavier grinned to himself excitedly. 'Fine, I'll play your fucking game.'

The fear of death did not faze him, for he had already stood face to face with it countless times.

The energy which had been transferred from Xavier's body onto the cube was returning.

But the cube was fighting back as it continued to grow brighter.

Sophie who could feel the sources of energy colliding and draining one another was filled with amazement. She quickly snapped out of it however, once she realised the inevitable.

Xavier's sentence was interrupted as a powerful explosion erupted.

"Are we under attack again...? We just got finished renovating the place yesterday." Said the head butler alongside the other servants as they arrived in front of Sophie's room.

The door and walls surrounding the room had been blown off. The pouring rain from from outside flowed in along with the frosty breeze.

But that wasn't what got them on edge. It was the dark ominous bloodlust flowing out from within the room.

Both the butler and servants peered into the room with their guard up and what they saw shook them.

In the middle of the room stood but a single figure with short silver hair. He had his back turned towards them and wore nothing but his underwear displaying his shredded physique for their eyes to see.

A chilling dark crimson aura was flowing out of this body and spreading throughout the room but that very same aura was overshadowed by a pulsating light crimson one flowing out of the object floating beside him.

It was a mechanical cube which's parts were turning around automatically. It hovered beside him as if waiting for his command.

Xavier glanced at the cube before looking around the room. His eyes then fell upon Sophie who had been gazing at him with both curiosity and amazement.

"Sophie... Your clothes."

The excitement of hers once again quickly faded as she looked down. Her clothes had been mostly torn off along with parts of her threads.

The bottom half of her body was still being covered by the threads, hiding her privates, but as for her plump chest however... They were on full display.

She slowly looked away from Xavier and towards the entrance where the servants were, only to notice that many of them had covered their eyes, along with the head butler. There were a certain few however, who decided to risk their life to appreciate the view.

Her face reddened in an instant.

"Xavier!!!" She yelled out in embarrassment.

"...Revert."

The Mechanical Cube snapped a part into place. In that fraction of a second, the destroyed parts of the wall quickly flowed back into place.

Everyone watched as the state of the room reverted back to what it was moments prior within just a few seconds.

The Butler who'd seen Xavier use Revert when restoring the house was surprised. The speed everything restored itself was incomparable to how it was in the previous day. Not to mention he restored the entire room without moving a finger.

Before the Butler and the servants even knew it. They were standing in front of a completely restored room with even the door back in place.

It was as if the room had never been damaged in the first place.

'So that's... The power of an Ancient Relic.'

"W-What just happened..?"

"So that must have been the ability he used to defeat the nobles..."

"So we're not under attack...?"

The servants began talking amongst themselves. Meanwhile the butler couldn't help but find himself getting excited for what the future held in store.

"You're all free to go. No one's under attack. I'll deal with the rest." Spoke the Butler.

Reassured by his words, the servants nodded before leaving to carry out their tasks.

The Butler who stayed behind stepped in front of the door before giving it a knock.

"What is it?" Xavier's voice came out from the inside.

"I'd like to thank you for having spent the night before leaving. The young lady would have been upset if you left without telling her."

"Is that it?" Xavier asked.

"I also wanted to tell you take quickly take your leave while you still could, the young lady was awoken by the sound of the explosion. You want to leave without alerting her don't you?"

"I see... Thanks for the information. Don't worry, I'll be leaving now."

"One final piece of advice... If you truly plan to launch an attack on them, do not underestimate the royal bloodline. Their immeasurable ability is one thing, but there's an even scarier reason that that the royal family reigns above all the nobles."

"...What's the reason?" Xavier asked.

"He's right you know... Only a Royal can defeat a Royal, and the Royal's have an ongoing agreement with one another not to fight or engage in each other's territory." Said Sophie as she glared at Xavier.

Her clothes had gotten restored once he'd completed the Revert with the help of the Cube. But it didn't really help in terms of calming her down.

"I already apologised for that didn't I? It was an accident. I'm the one who almost died."

It was a good counter argument. She had no words to say in response.

Xavier let out a sigh. He leaned in towards her before turning his head and showing her his cheek.

"If you're that mad, feel free to punch me as hard as you want."
