Chapter 363: Terror Shock

Eve's "Earth Druid" is upgraded to level 11, with HP +8.

"Companion Link" is further enhanced, and now Eve can share the "mana pool" with the flash dog Munin.

The druid's signature ability "Wild Transformation" has also developed a new use. Now Eve can transform into "ultra-small" or "extra-large" animals and plants.

Ultra-small animals, such as mice, are nothing to say.

Extra-large animals and plants are amazing!

As far as land animals are concerned, mammoths and most dinosaurs including Triceratops are super large.

When Eve turns into mammoth form, natural defense +7, strength 32, agility 10, constitution 21, and two racial talents - "endurance" and "iron will".

When she turns into Triceratops form, the natural defense increase reaches an exaggerated level 11, strength 30, agility 9, constitution 25, and there are three racial talents - "robust", "endurance" and "powerful charge"!

"Powerful Charge" is a scaled-down version of "Lion Charge". After the charge, the damage dice are doubled, but there is no advantage in the attack roll, and the hit rate is a problem.

In the water environment, Eve can turn into a super-large "killer whale" or "giant crocodile".

When fighting in the air, there are very few super-large flying birds to choose from. "Quetzon" is a good choice-if this thing can be considered a "flying bird".

Speaking of super-large supernatural plants, the most well-known one is "Tree Man".

Eve turns into a tree man, with natural defense +13, strength 29, agility 8, constitution 21, and can also obtain 10/slashing damage reduction armor.

In addition, the tree man also has powerful talents such as "Siege Weapon (Damage to Objects and Buildings Doubled)", "Iron Will", "Power Attack" and "Power Trampling (Attack all smaller targets within 20 feet around oneself at the same time)".

The only shortcoming of the tree man is "vulnerable to fire damage"-when attacked by fire, the damage is doubled.

In general, the Treeman is the best "Wild Shape" option with comprehensive performance at this stage.

Finally, the 11th-level Druid can also learn a 5th-level natural spell.

Eve is an "Earth Druid", and the spells she should learn first are of course from the "Earth Domain", such as "Gravity Well".

5th-level "Gravity Well": Range 400 feet + 40 feet/level, 30 feet radius spread, lasting 10 minutes/level, the gravity borne by creatures within the range becomes 4 times, and no immunity can be made. When the caster is level 13, the upper limit of gravity increases to 8 times, 16 times at level 15, and 32 times at level 17.

"Gravity Well" is a very powerful control spell. The heavier the creature, the more fragile its bones are, and the more seriously it is affected by supergravity.

Throwing an ant into the "Gravity Well" is not a big problem, but if you put an elephant in it, it will be difficult to stand up.

There is another more brutal use of "Gravity Well", which is to apply it to flying creatures within the range of the spell, directly tearing them down from the air, falling under the effect of 4 times the gravity acceleration, and finally smashing them to pieces, leaving no intact body.

Eve's natural partner Mu Ning, life dice increased to 9HD, proficiency modifier +1, HP +8.

Al and Wu Shi were promoted to 10th-level bear warriors, HP +10, strength attribute +1, and they can turn into "brown bear" form after going berserk.

From black bear to brown bear, the evolution range is so big that it can be said to be a world of difference!

Al and Wu Shi, who turned into brown bears, increased their size by one level, natural defense +5, strength attribute +16, agility attribute +2, and constitution attribute +8.

In addition, brown bears have the innate ability "Mastery of Grabbing" - if the claw machine hits the target twice in battle, it will automatically start grappling.

There is no reward profession in this chapter.

The three candidate bonus feats are all pretty good, namely "Improved Initiative", "Blindsense" and "Terror Blast".

The value of "Improved Initiative" is mainly reflected in the "Strategic Mode", but unfortunately there is no "Strategic Mode" in reality, so Gao Fei first ruled out this option.

"Blindsense" can allow the character to gain 60 feet of "Tremorsense", similar to the monk's professional ability "Clairaudience".

The prerequisite for this feat is "Blind Fight", and to learn "Blind Fight", you must first master "Alertness".

Gao Fei has not even learned "Alertness" yet, so the "Blindsense" feat chain is not considered for the time being.

Jiang Feng has already obtained "Alertness" and "Blind Fight", meeting the prerequisite for learning "Blindsense".

Although her monk has already learned "Tremorsense", she still accepted Gao Fei's suggestion and chose "Blindsense" as the bonus feat for this chapter.

The "Blindsense" feat is even more useful in reality than in the game!

For example, if you are interested in some entertainment facilities in Las Vegas, you can learn the feat of "Blindsense" and you can "see (hear)" which side of the dice in the cup will be facing up, and then you will become rich overnight... or die on the street.

Gao Fei chose the bonus feat of "Horror Blast".

Horror Blast (Prerequisite: Improved Bull Rush): When you launch a melee attack against a target that is not larger than your size, you can add a "Bull Rush". If the bull rush succeeds, the target will be knocked back 10 feet x (1 + size difference); if the target hits an obstacle, it will take an additional 1d6 damage/10 feet.

"Horror Blast" is equivalent to an enhanced version of "Improved Bull Rush", which can not only knock the enemy down, but also knock them into the air.

The distance of the knockback depends on the size difference between the enemy and us.

So it is conceivable that when Gao Fei turns into a red dragon and activates "Righteousness", he can try to knock back all creatures that are not larger than the "super large" level, such as mammoths.

"Horror Shock" has another advantage over "Mastery of Collision", that is, after the attack hits, you get an extra collision opportunity, which is equivalent to hitting one more time!

If "Horror Shock" succeeds, it can at least knock the target 10 feet away and fall to the ground.

What does 10 feet mean?

Gao Fei quickly thought that the enemy and us were 10 feet apart, which just met the minimum distance for charging. Can't we launch "Lion Charge" in the next round!

The enemy who was knocked away was hit by a round of "Lion Charge" just as he was about to get up, and then knocked back at least 10 feet.

Then Gao Fei can use "Lion Charge" again, and after one round, he can add "Terror Shock" to knock the enemy away again... This continuous charge and knock is like a bulldozer, constantly pushing the enemy away, just like kicking a ball!

Gao Fei became more and more excited, and named this tactical combination of "Lion Charge" + "Terror Shock" "Serial Lion Charge"!

Is it possible to further strengthen "Serial Lion Charge"?

Of course!

Gao Fei immediately thought of the "Dive and Crush" in the Red Dragon form, which is also a charge action. Not only can it cooperate with "Lion Charge" to increase hits and damage, but it can also add "Terror Shock" to crush the target and knock it away.
